You have a wonderful view and plenty of space. I personally also like the upper wash house better than the one on the lower side. The Wiesn for people who come with tents are also very nice and the staff are always extremely friendly and courteous. Even if you want to stay longer than 12:00, you can extend your departure time until 16:00 for just ten euros. I also think that's very good!NegatīvaisThere are no disadvantages. It would just be nice if path lighting could be installed in the upper terrace area.I can only warmly recommend Camping Mayrhofen.I can only warmly recommend this campsite. I have been traveling to Zillertal for decades and am always impressed by the friendliness of the staff at the campsite in Mayrhofen, the location, the cleanliness, especially the pitches in the upper terrace area and the wash house. The direct proximity to... Mayrhofen with all the possibilities is just great and you can reach everything easily without a car. The only thing that disturbs the peace and quiet a little is the sawmill that starts work right next door at seven in the morning! But that's not a problem because it's not usually too loud. It's also very nice to be able to pay ten euros more and leave the pitch at 4pm instead of 12pm!Automātiski tulkots.
- Karina D.September 2023PozitīviLocationNegatīvaisPlaces too narrow. Too many dogs.MediocreWe had booked a comfort pitch with water and waste water on site, which is of course very nice. On arrival we had a wonderful view of the mountains from the top of the terrace. When we returned after a walk, a Phoenix camper van the size of a bus had parked in front of our pitch, so we had to look at... this wall of cupboards for the whole day. Annoying. These giant mobile homes don't belong on the top of the terrace, but should be placed separately at the bottom.
The operator should also have to check how people position themselves, because some of them were already halfway across the path with their cars.
The pitches are simply too narrow with a caravan.
There were an extremely large number of dogs on the site, barking and barking all the time, and they were pooping and peeing everywhere.
At night, vehicles drove rapidly over the gravel paths on the site.
A group of Dutch people thought they had to entertain the whole site with their music some evenings.
Very nice sanitary facilities, if only people would leave them tidy.
In short, the location of the campsite is very suitable for hiking and great cycling tours. The staff are super friendly and the sanitary facilities are well maintained. The restaurant prepares fresh meals that also taste very good. Nothing stands in the way of a very pleasant stay there. Good bus connections, very good restaurant on site, great opportunities to walk directly from the site in the dog, Mayrhofen is also within walking distance and thus also the mountain railroads in the village.
The site is... well maintained and the staff very friendly. Some of the men's toilets were always occupied, here would still need to be expanded. The pitches are equipped with waste water, TV connection (DVB-C), and fresh water. Both wash/toilet blocks were always clean, the reception staff were always nice... and friendly and very eager to help. We also liked the restaurant very much, great food, great children's play area, friendly service, on Wednesdays there is an evening with folk music. The pitch we booked was spacious, the sanitary facilities clean, in the upper area there were 3 showers each (m/f), there were sometimes delays, but in the lower area... there were enough showers. The pool wasn't huge but our children loved jumping in to cool off and play. We were served quickly and in a friendly manner in the restaurant (delicious pizza). I'm not complaining about every fart either.Beautiful vacation in MayrhofenWe spent a week in mid-June at this beautifully situated campsite just outside Mayrhofen. Our group of 8 adults and 2 dogs felt very comfortable there. The 4 reserved pitches in the lower area were next to each other and not far from the sanitary facilities, swimming pool, sauna, reception and restaurant.... We quickly made pleasant contact with the permanent campers across the road. There was a good selection of rolls, bread, pastries and other delicacies at the kiosk in the morning. About 10-15 minutes on foot to the city center or the cable car facilities. Approx. 2-3 minutes to the cycle path out of the valley. - Manuela L.August 2018PozitīviDogs welcome, close to the village and hiking trails.NegatīvaisSmall pitches.Camping in the ZillertalPleasant campsite in the immediate vicinity of the village of Mayrhofen in the Zillertal. The town center is just a few minutes' walk away, as are numerous hiking trails. The mini market at the campsite is to be praised. We also used the small outdoor pool, but in August it quickly gets a bit crowded... and the water didn't always seem super fresh. The service staff are very friendly and helpful. The pitch is rather small and surrounded by permanent campers who form their own little community, which made us feel a bit of a nuisance in certain situations. If you extend the awning from the caravan, it almost ends at the road, a little bigger would not be bad. Our dog was welcome and apart from the evening spectacle once or twice a week (solo entertainers or small bands with more or less vocal talent providing entertainment in the hotel's beer garden), it was nice and quiet on the campsite.Automātiski tulkots.

Super friendly welcome and always friendly advice during the stay! The sanitary facilities are fantastic and always(!) clean, we didn't even see any dirt in the 4 days! Good location of the campsite, the center can be reached... in 5 minutes on foot. The campsite is also really nice, sometimes a bit noisy due to the adjacent road but that's complaining on a very high level. The restaurant offers rustic food at fair prices.
