I'm not complaining, just a suggestion.Modern new campsiteBeautifully laid out and easily accessible new campsite with a natural pool in the middle. Good restaurant, but upmarket price range. Alternatively there is pizza from 7 euros. The pitches are large enough and filled with gravel. The gravel on our pitch was quite loose, which was a bit unusual. Gravel... may not be everyone's cup of tea, but we found it very clean and the awning carpet stayed in the car.
There are cherry laurel plant partitions between the pitches - very nice. There are also small lawns behind the pitches at the edge (fence with barbed wire). Please note: The site is irrigated, so our rotary dryer was in an unfavorable position - but we were warned in good time.
There are several modern sanitary buildings, I think 4, which makes for short distances. We only had 2 toilets and 2 showers (men) in the building, but I only had to wait once during our week's stay when the pitches were full. Showers are free and equipped with timed hand showers in shared cubicles. Overall, the concept seems to fit, everything is very well organized, well thought out, modern and ideally located.
A matter of taste, but I think it's good that you can get through the barrier during the day. Only from 10.00-7.00 p.m. is night-time rest and driving on the site taboo - completely okay.
The staff are very friendly, a small store is well equipped and offers, among other things, a varied selection of bread rolls without pre-ordering. We will definitely include this site on our list of favorites.Automātiski tulkots.

The site is still very new and very well laid out and equipped. Therefore one star deduction, because all 3 sanitary buildings have only "1" urinal directly between the washbasin and hair dryer without a reasonable... separation. Unfortunately, there are also only two shower and toilet cubicles per sanitary building. I don't think that's up to date for a newly created site of this size. Otherwise everything, but really everything, is very clean, extremely friendly staff 😊, a great swimming pond, a super well-stocked little store with good breakfast rolls and a higher-priced but excellent restaurant. For us it's an ideal location for hiking and cycling, away from the towns, but no problem for us. The food in the restaurant is really delicious and the owners and staff are so helpful. However, no clear explanation could be given to us.
A WW team would be too big if a large Morelo camper van were to arrive. But if a second Morelo arrives and there is already a Morelo in the camper... stop, it's no different. Our team is no longer than a proper Morelo. What's more, we would have taken the last space at the back.
You could unhook the camper and drive out again with the car and then the barrier counter would no longer be correct. Then why are vehicles only allowed with a tent? They don't even have to park without occupying a space with their tent.
In the end, we had to drive into the site and didn't even get a discount for it.

Very well maintained.NegatīvaisNothing.Top campsite with goodwillAlthough the site is located on the road to the large Montiggl lake, it is well protected by the wall facing the road. The sanitary facilities are modern and very clean. The green center with playground and natural swimming pond, around which the pitches are arranged, loosens up the facility very nicely.... The pitches vary in size and all have electricity and water connections. The 4 sanitary facilities distributed around the site with recycling areas behind them are arranged in such a way that they are easily accessible from the individual pitches.
We had to leave early for private reasons, the receptionist was very understanding and only charged us for the time of our stay.
Overall, a very nice place that has its price, but justifies it.
A note if anyone wants to do laundry: Please buy the appropriate coins at reception beforehand as the washing machines do not work with money.

M.September 2020PozitīviNice reception with friendly staff; spacious pitches and everything easily maneuverable even with a large vehicle and trailer; infrastructure; cleanliness; good location in the Überetsch; good restaurantNegatīvaisThe pitches and roadway are all gravel, which does have a rather sterile effect.Place with good infrastructure and extremely nice receptionWe had reserved a large, quiet Premium pitch for our large motorhome and were given a very large pitch. Everything is easily accessible and easy to maneuver, even with a trailer. The reception was extremely friendly and we immediately felt welcome. We were given a connector for the unusual 32A power... connection without being asked. The infrastructure is state of the art with electricity, water, swimming pool, store, restaurant, bar, café, supply/disposal, rental bikes, etc. Everything is available. The restaurant on site is highly recommended. Our pitch was as far away from the road as possible and therefore very quiet.
It takes about 35 minutes to walk from the campsite to the center of St. Michael and about the same time to the small Montiggl lake (if you choose the shortest walking route, you only have to walk a short distance along the road). The pitches are separated by low hedges. Because everything is gravelled, the whole thing looks a bit sterile. However, the pitches and sanitary facilities are very clean, although we hardly needed the latter. It is extremely clean - both the sanitary facilities and the outdoor areas. The staff are very service-oriented, the boss is pleasant and sociable. We rented a VW E-Up one day, which cost €50 including electricity - very OK. The location and the outdoor seating in the restaurant... are great. The restaurant service at dinner did not convince us for the price level. The food was good. We found it pleasant that there were few dogs on site and that they had to be kept on a lead.Automātiski tulkots.

It was the only site that still had free pitches - everything else was fully booked at the time. This was probably because not so many people knew about this campsite. The site was incredibly well-kept and clean! We found the sanitary facilities... clean at all times of the day and night. As the site is still new, the hedges and trees are still a bit small. So don't forget to pack some shade. The pitches are all gravel and level. We can recommend this wonderful site with a swimming pond in the middle 200%.Automātiski tulkots.
