"Good parking space - Were with the tent and stood on the tent meadow at the very end without electricity. Benches and large trees available. Sanitary was quite okay, the campsite is very large so it was quite loud in the evening. The restaurant on site seemed to be run rather carelessly, shopping facilities are rather mediocre, for self-catering both don't matter...

"Recommended for a short stay - Very pleasant CP. Tourist pitches are nicely parceled out and separated from the permanent campers. Bakery with a small range of groceries and butcher on site (approx. 10 min walk) No shopping facilities at the campsite. Pool is very small, with very limited opening hours, small pond right next to the campsite.

" - The site is quietly located on the outskirts of the village. It has a large permanent camper section and a smaller tourist section. The tourist pitches were generously parceled out with hedges and had their own electricity, water and waste water connections. However, there were also unparceled tent pitches without electricity. The sanitary facilities were mostly clean and were cleaned at least twice a day in high season. However, the water was only lukewarm in the mornings and evenings. Maybe it was a coincidence, but during our stay we heard dogs barking more often than on other campsites. The site has a bathing lake and a heated pool, which is particularly appealing to families. The staff weren't unfriendly, but we've experienced better (it's a municipal site). They speak French, English and German. The restaurant on site was not very good. However, the lack of any shopping facilities is particularly annoying. Even in the village there was only a bakery and a butcher. If you want to go to the supermarket, you have to drive a bit. Despite the one or other point of criticism, a positive impression remains. The price/performance ratio is right. We spent a pleasant week there and will certainly be back.

" - Very nice campsite for short trips and weekend excursions. It is located in a small Lorraine village near Bitche and offers everything you need. Unfortunately there is no bread service, but there is a bakery in the village. There is also a bank and a small tabac store with newspapers and other items. For larger purchases, it is advisable to drive to Bitche. The campsite has a swimming pool for those who don't want to swim in the natural lake with sunbathing area, a restaurant, a playground for children and many cycling and hiking trails. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place for you. The site is divided into two zones - permanent campers vs. tourist pitches - which are freely accessible to all guests of the campsite. The sanitary facilities are relatively new, sufficient and always clean. The staff at reception were also very helpful, friendly and spoke German ;) Conclusion: Any time again, great value for money, for some people perhaps too far away from life and somewhere in the middle of nowhere. We like it that way and that's why the CP is just right for us.

" - Very nicely located campsite, with some spacious pitches. The staff are very friendly and the sanitary facilities were clean and fully equipped for us. There was only one negative point for us, unfortunately there are no shopping facilities on the site. It was certainly not the last time we stayed at the municipal de Ramstein Plage.

Profils

At this campsite, you are surrounded by deep forests, beautiful lakes and babbling brooks. Lorraine is a wonderful area for those seeking peace and quiet and for nature lovers, and of course for cyclists and walkers. Camping Ramstein Plage is …ideally located in the Vosges du Nord Nature Park, near the village of Baerenthal in the Moselle region. It has an excellent restaurant and a beautiful swimming pool, but you can also swim in the lake right next to the site. Ramstein Plage is a campsite with a relatively large number of long-term pitches. However, these are clearly separated from the other pitches. As a camper, you can experience the real camping feeling on this campsite on the beautiful, large pitches in a beautiful wooded area. There are also cosy and practically furnished cabins for two to four people. At the edge of the campsite, right next to the lake, is a lovely rectangular swimming pool. You can also swim and do your laps in the lake. The lake has a demarcated swimming area with an adjacent two-metre-wide sandy strip. Would you like to enjoy the sun while your children play in the water? Then you can do so perfectly on the sunbathing lawn. During the summer holidays, a professional entertainment team is on hand at the campsite. Every day, various activities are organised for the whole family, including sports tournaments, quiz nights, themed evenings, mini-concerts and family afternoons. Every Sunday, over a drink, the programme for the following week is announced.
