It's very suitable as an overnight stopover, as you can also stay coupled up. The campsite is great and you have a fantastic view. The sanitary facilities are clean and modern. We also really liked the restaurant and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly.

The reception was friendly and nice.
It was inexplicable to us how there can still be campsites today without card payment.
Even a restaurant has been integrated which should also be booked on account of the stay.
Strange... system in my opinion.
The sanitary facilities were hardly cleaned and poorly finished.
The anteroom was under water after a shower and you could swim out afterwards.
For one night it was OK, but did not meet the expectations according to the reviews.

We were immediately given a warm welcome, were allowed to choose a nice pitch and were treated to dinner.
The sanitary facilities are very modern and clean.
We were able to order delicious baked goods for breakfast.
The next morning we were well snowed in. But the boss, Gisela, pulled us on our way in the jeep.

We had a free choice of pitches and opted for the meadow with a fantastic view. You can start hikes and bike tours from the campsite. If you want, you can get tips from the operator's family.... The culinary catering in Bar 66 is excellent with products from their own farm or producers from the region. The sanitary facilities are very clean and modern. It's a shame to use the campsite or the country of Slovenia just for passing through - it's worth staying longer. It is a region and a place with a special spirit and charm - the same goes for the boss Gisela😉! Frank W.September 2022Pozitīvi- Convenient for transit in the direction of Rijeka - Large parking lot behind the buildings - Food and drink very good - Top sanitary facilitiesNegatīvais- Not exactly cheap, but worth every penny - Train traffic audible, but not disturbing for usFreestanding with power connectionWe could hardly have gotten off to a better start when we were passing through Slovenia: Very relaxed reception and free choice of pitch - we opted for the hilly meadow pitch behind the buildings.
There were hardly any campers around, so we pitched up at the highest point and enjoyed the mountain panorama... almost to ourselves. Free-standing with electricity, what more could you want... However, I can imagine that it can get pretty uncomfortable here in wind and weather, so always keep an eye on the weather forecast or ask the operators.
Road and rail traffic is audible if the wind is blowing in the right direction, but not disturbing.
I would like to highlight the IPA served on tap at Bar 66, which is brewed in the area. Once you have negotiated the somewhat steep access road, you find yourself in front of the log cabin-style restaurant (Bar 66), which also serves as reception. Behind it, the actual site extends over several slightly terraced meadows, which... were probably once pastureland. All around is a wonderful panorama of meadows and mountains (densely wooded low mountain range) in an apparently sparsely populated landscape.
We were on our way to Croatia with two people and a caravan for a night at Camping Plana at the beginning of September. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a member of staff who showed us the way to the extra pitches for transients in a very uncomplicated manner, telling us to simply arrive and park and then complete the formalities.
The transit area is a spacious oval covered with gravel and has its own modern sanitary building. There are sufficient electricity connections on the oval, but there are no water connections, which we didn't miss during our short stopover. A minor drawback is the slight background noise of long-distance traffic the closer you get to the road, but this didn't bother us.
The restaurant menu is short, but the food is very good. We booked breakfast for the next day, which was also very good and plentiful. We also liked the sound system in the restaurant, with unobtrusive and very tastefully selected music.

We stopped here on our way to Croatia and planned a three-day stay after reading nothing but positive reviews. And we were not disappointed. You immediately feel very welcome here and can choose a nice spot, which is not easy because there are so many beautiful... places. You have a great view of the beautiful natural surroundings from everywhere. The sanitary facilities are also very modern and clean. Bar 66 serves delicious food and you can also have breakfast there or order delicious baked goods. Manager Gisela and her team are always available for a nice chat or to give you good tips on exploring the area. As it was very hot and we were traveling with two dogs, we only went for short walks and otherwise just enjoyed our stay at the Plana. It was such a great, relaxing start to our vacation.
We would be happy to recommend this beautiful place to others. There is nothing lacking here. We were immediately impressed by the clean and well-kept washrooms. The idyllic location is a perfect place to relax, even if you can hear the train rushing past. The food in the in-house restaurant is a real treat, whether in the... evening or for a lovingly prepared breakfast. The hospitality and helpfulness of the Plana team was also really great. We really enjoyed our stay and hope that this campsite will continue to exist despite the coronavirus crisis. The assumption that Slovenia can currently only be used as a transit country is a fallacy that is simply misrepresented by the media and the Foreign Office. Almost everything is open in Slovenia and you are welcomed with open arms everywhere. We traveled the country for 4 weeks and did not have one negative experience in this regard.
