A very quiet place that is divided into a few fields where you stand in a large circle "typical for Holland". The site is car-free except for arrival and departure. There is a central parking lot between the fields. For Womos there are 1-2 gravelled areas on each field and... a field with Womo pitches only. WoWa are "ONLY" allowed as monoachser !!!
Our reserved pitch was unfortunately occupied by another guest on the border (so it was on 2 pitches) but Erik was very obliging and found a suitable alternative, which we were very happy about afterwards. So we had the sun in front of the car :-) Thank you Erik!!!
Unfortunately, you have to go to the well-stocked supermarket for bread rolls.
Swimming was out of the question at Easter, but SUP was great and you could go as far as the housing estate on the other side of the lake.
A visit to Amsterdam is easily possible from here, Lelystad is not worth seeing but also worth a visit. The artificial nature island Markerwadden should be visited as well as the Oostvaardersplassen with the wild horses.
There are nice restaurants at the harbor/outlet, which you can also easily reach by bike.
By the way, washing up costs nothing extra and 50 cents is enough for a shower.

The restaurants in the area are nothing special, but there is a very good supermarket a short distance away. If you are connected to pitch F, you are particularly exposed to the weather. All pitches that don't have a stone are only for caravans. Even if people with their large... SUVs and corresponding caravans stand and maneuver there, a small, light VW bus is not allowed up there. Which leads to a little incomprehension. The reception also gave no indication of the nearby supermarket when we asked where we could get something to eat. We will not visit the site again.Automātiski tulkots.- Thomas M.June 2019PozitīviPrice-performance ratioNegatīvaisThe beautiful towns on the IJsselmeer are further away.Beautiful, quiet place on the edge of a nature reserveThe site is not very big and is beautifully situated on the edge of a nature reserve. The facilities are without much frills, a few playground equipment, nothing else. The motorhome pitches are gravelled, the caravan pitches are on grass. The pitches are not divided by hedges. The site is car-free, i.e.... you have to park in the - somewhat small - parking lot. There is a sanitary building which was cleaned once a day and was generally clean. You need 50 ct to shower and there could be a few more showers, but there were no really long waiting times. The water points on the site are few and far between, but this is not a problem due to the short distances on the small site. Lelystad, about 4 km away, is not a highlight on the IJsselmeer. It's a typical resort town with plenty of shops, but no flair. The excursion towns of Urk, Hindeloopen or Enkhuizen are only interesting for ambitious cyclists. Eva Z.May 2019Pozitīvi-Friendly staff, sanitary facilities very clean, great location :-) - Excursion destinations (Enkhuizen, Batavia) not far awayNegatīvais- It may be cramped in the sanitary facilities when the site is full!we would come backThe booking was totally uncomplicated (online via the operator's homepage); if you call personally you are also asked how important e.g. good satellite reception is - I overheard;-) The arrival and reception were also uncomplicated and friendly. The reception is staffed except for a 2-hour lunch break... - that's great! The pitch and the sanitary facilities were clean and the staff made sure that it was/remained clean in the mornings and evenings. In the evening all the showers were occupied and a nice member of staff unlocked the disabled shower for my son (12) - thumbs up!!! The site as a whole was very clean, there was nothing going on due to the bad weather! Overall, the site is in a great location right next to a small wood and the water is also just around the corner - we weren't able to explore everything in detail when it was 10 degrees and raining. The grass is great for tents and there are bushes and trees everywhere. The downside is that there is very little wind, which I find very pleasant, but there are also a lot of flycatchers. The sanitary facilities are simple (as you would expect from a campsite in my opinion)... and clean. You need 50ct for hot water to shower. This can be exchanged at reception. For me, 2x 50ct was easily enough. You need 20ct to rinse with hot water. The campsite is right by the lake (I can't really estimate) maybe 200m? You can barbecue here with real barbecues :) There are two tables with benches on one of the meadows that you can use. The staff are very friendly :)Automātiski tulkots.

CP is on the edge of the town, directly on the lake. Everything can be reached quickly by bike, such as supermarkets and outlet centers. The site is small, cozy and well maintained. Nice operator, also speaks German. There is a surf school right next to the campsite where you can hire various water sports equipment. We would love to go here again.Automātiski tulkots.

Ideal for visiting Oostvaardersplassen and for. Cycling on Flevoland and swimming in the Bovenwater right next door or in the Markermeer. If you like shopping, drive or cycle to Bataviastad, which is much nicer than Maasmechelen Village. There... are also interesting museums nearby. On arrival at the campsite you are given lots of information and a map of Lelystad. Be careful with the cycle paths: at first it seems very simple and clear with the numbered junctions, but the numbers are hardly anywhere. The main roads are closed to bicycles, so you have to use the cycle paths. There are only a few street names on the city map. In the neighborhoods, all streets have the same name and a number. Completely confusing. Located in the middle of many excursion destinations such as Amsterdam, Harderwijk (dolphinarium), Batavia shipyard, Enkhuiezen etc. The operators are very nice, speak German and the site is very clean and quiet.Automātiski tulkots.

Michael T.May 2012Very nicely situated outside the campsite. Very quiet. Well-kept, clean overall impression, new, modern wash house (shower 0.50€/approx. 5min, hot water - only washing up 0.20€). Separate pitches for camper vans, caravans and tents. No cars allowed on the site (very nice!), only loading and unloading.... Close to Lelystad and the Oostvaardersplassen nature reserve (birds etc.). On site access to the water (incl. sunbathing lawn), but in May 2012 many mosquitoes... (at the water). 2012, 2 persons, motorhome/electricity: 21.50€/night. Shopping not within walking distance. Friendly, German-speaking reception. Reservation certainly necessary during the season, as it is very busy (or lucky...).Automātiski tulkots.
