Despite enough free pitches we got a bad pitch in the forest, no possibility to choose a pitch online or by phone. There were 3 chemical toilets, 2 were always closed and only one open, you always had to queue for the chemical toilet. The urinal was... also closed. In summer certainly nice for swimming in the lake. There are also lots of pitches under the shady trees, which is an advantage in the heat. However, some of the sanitary facilities are old and small. You need to pay tokens for hot water! But the worst thing is the... absolutely arrogant and moody groundsman! We ate twice in the restaurant, apart from pizza (albeit with canned toppings) the food was rather mediocre. For us, this place is probably out of the question. It's a shame really, because the location and the lake are really beautiful.Automātiski tulkots.
Beat S.April 2017PozitīviFriendly management, great surroundings for walks, lakeside with many sandy bays, good restaurant, new, clean sanitary facilities.NegatīvaisExpensive campsite without charm, restaurant priced at the upper limit.Camping with little charm, very expensive!We were here as a couple over Easter 2017 and were given a very friendly welcome by the groundsman couple despite arriving late. The groundsman even rode ahead of us on his bike and kindly assisted us in parking the caravan. The car had to be parked outside in a large parking lot after setting up. The... site is mainly characterized by countless permanent and seasonal campers. The sanitary building at the back where we were has just been completely renovated. The facilities are ultra-modern and state of the art. Everything was spotless! Hot water, even for washing up (!), is only available by inserting tokens for a fee. This system was not yet working properly. If you were the first to shower in the morning, you needed two tokens to get hot water after five minutes, which the camp manager said shouldn't happen. The tokens were refunded to us without any problems. There are some beautiful old trees on parts of the site, but the trees at the back right are very loose. If you don't stand in the shade there in summer, you will probably work up quite a sweat. The campsite is located directly on the clean, well-kept shore of Lake Neuchâtel. There are many fine sandy bathing bays along the shore to the left and right of the campsite. The nearby and distant landscape is truly beautiful and promises romantic sunsets. The site itself has absolutely no charm and we felt a little lost among the many seasonal campers with their sometimes ancient caravan installations. The restaurant on the VD8 is recommendable with a good menu. The pizzas are really tasty. However, the food and drinks are expensive in Swiss terms. 20 francs for half a liter of unspectacular red wine is an indecent amount, especially as the vineyards are practically on our doorstep! For the four nights we paid just over 200 francs including the reservation fee (we were only charged 15 instead of the usual 30 francs), electricity and 10 hot water chips, which we found very expensive for the low season. Conclusion: Surroundings and landscape top - campsite ambience rather floppy. Extended weekend yes, longer vacation stay - well......, rather not.Automātiski tulkots.- rosmarie w.July 2015PozitīviThe location, the beach and the water of Lake Neuchâtel are beautiful.NegatīvaisPrice of Fr 6.-/day for electricity is very exorbitant. Motorhomes / camper buses should be on the edge of the tent / caravan site.The most expensive "electricity" for motorhomes in Switzerland.I regularly visit campsites in Switzerland and neighboring countries. I think Fr. 6.- /day for a VW California is way overpriced. Too bad, a nice place for tents/caravans. With a motorhome/camper bus you can only find a place to stay on the edge of the large parking lot. You'll never see me at this campsite again.Automātiski tulkots.

The sanitary facilities were always clean for both the men and the women at different times (disinfectant in the toilets would still be a good improvement!) The pitches are generously sized. The biggest cheek are the tokens that you need for hot water (showers/washing up etc.) 1 token lasts 3 minutes = 0.70rp, of these 3 minutes you wait 1 minute until hot water comes! Light for showering and washing... up is also switched on remotely, happens just before you need the flashlight! Otherwise lots of time constraints, e.g. the car must not be in the campsite for more than 30 minutes on arrival and departure etc. Never again for us.Automātiski tulkots.
- Christopher G.September 2013Unsuitable for youth groups. Unfriendly groundsman. If he has trouble with groups, why does he rent out pitches? Arrivals and departures are chaotic moments, more tolerance is needed. Location of the pitch too remote for groups without a car, otherwise great beach. Sanitary facilities too small for groups. Hot water for washing up/showers costs! Tip to the club: Set up a group site that is a bit remote from the camping operation.Automātiski tulkots.

O facto de as viaturas não poderem circular dentro do camping ajuda ao silêncio. Silêncio esse que é rei nas horas de descanso.- Peter G.August 2010The pitches for campers are outside the grounds. Near the parking lot. Practically no shade, the boss shows how the camper must be placed, if a luggage trailer is needed, bring it back within 15 minutes. Otherwise the unfriendly boss is quickly on the spot. Unfortunately we had even more negative experiences. Never again for us. The sandy beach is great for children.Automātiski tulkots.

- Timo P.July 2010The campsite is beautifully situated and surprisingly cheap - and very suitable for families. The organization is rather poor. At high temperatures there is no chance of cooling the cooling elements properly, the sanitary facilities are quickly overloaded and therefore quickly contaminated. Unless you... have enough time and patience, it's better to skip the restaurant altogether. A little tip: Ask the manager to show you your exact pitch on arrival. We had to move our tent after 3 days because our pitch was rented out twice. We were told this in a very unfriendly way by the campsite manager.Automātiski tulkots.
