The pitches are not too big, but sufficient. The sanitary facilities are clean. There is a small playground on site for children. The swimming pool is heated and was well frequented. Less suitable for longer vacations, as "only" Venice is at your feet.Best choice for a visit to VeniceThe site is easy to access, has flat pitches, shade or semi-shade, mostly with gravel, modern, well-dimensioned sanitary facilities (rain shower, toilets with glasses + paper dispenser), everything very clean and well-kept, small pool (indoor), which we did not use.
Approx. 5 min walk to the bus station,... 2 stops to Venice train station, where you can board a vaporetto (public transport) directly and travel through the Grand Canal to St. Mark's Square. Recommendation: day ticket for 25 euros. No well-stocked store.well suited as a parking space to visit VeniceSmall, beautiful site, unfortunately very narrow pitches. Completely unsuitable for tents. Absolutely suitable as a pitch for 1-2 nights to see Venice, less suitable for a vacation. No sea, no river. There is a tiny, really tiny indoor pool (2.50 euros per person). The alleged "store" consists of 3 shelves,... completely overpriced. A little further on, however, a Lidl. Restaurant very tasty. Sanitary facilities very nice, clean, modern. Single cubicles, large showers. Washing machine 5 euros and powder 1 euro. Wifi for a fee, only works to a limited extent. Bus ticket 3 euros to Venice there and back, a few meters from the camp is the bus stop directly to Venice, absolutely brilliant, in 10 minutes you are in Venice.Automātiski tulkots.

Apart from the fact that the route to the actual sights is really very easy to reach by bus or car, that's about it. If you are not traveling with a motorhome, the campsite is not really the best for tents. Who wants to pitch their tent on a gravel site where I can barely get a peg into the ground... without a hammer? A constant coming and going of motorhomes, accompanied by the annoying crunching of tires on the gravel. Waste disposal ... - Containers for this are hand-picked and have to be found first, obviously others have seen this too - as evidenced by the cigarette butts between the gravel ... even in places where you actually want to pitch your tent. So for me it is clear that of all the campsites I have visited with a tent in Italy, this one is the least suitable for camping with a tent. The infrastructure is excellent. We stayed there for two nights to visit Venice. You can buy day tickets for the bus and water buses directly at reception and the bus stop is about 3 minutes' walk from the campsite. The bus ride... to Venice takes about 8 minutes. The campsite is very professionally laid out and organized and the staff are super friendly. We can only recommend the campsite.Automātiski tulkots.

The swimming pool is an indoor... pool and costs €2.50. Bread rolls are available in the minimarket which is open. The restaurant is only open 3 evenings a week, which is fine for the low season. the bus connection to Venice is great and tickets are available at reception. unfortunately there is a problem if you need a gas bottle. campinggaz is only available up to 3 kg bottles and if you need more you have to buy a standard Italian gas bottle, which is not so easy, because there are neither on the campsite nor at the nearby motorhome dealer. However, you can get the adapter (one screw for €10) from the dealer, and the gas bottle is available a little further on in a small town, in a store that only sells gas. A little difficult to find and there is no information on the campsite, but the motorhome dealer can provide directions.Automātiski tulkots.

The place is clean the sanitary area is fairly new and accordingly modern. Indoor swimming pool available, but we didn't use it. Small restaurant on site with a small store: Everything was great! Due to the location, most campers are there to visit Venice,... so there is a lot of "coming and going", surprisingly very quiet and clean, which we have experienced quite differently on city sites. Very good restaurant about 1 km from the site: "Colors" in Campalto. There is also a supermarket within walking distance.Automātiski tulkots.
