"Be careful at this campsite! - Of the 5 ADAC stars awarded to Baia Azzurra, 2* can be safely deducted. The actually very beautiful site, wonderfully embedded in a dreamlike natural setting, destroys its good image itself through arrogant financial behavior. Customer friendliness is different. In some cases, they are mercilessly ripping you off. We cannot even recommend the campsite with reservations and would never come here again.

"Recommended with restrictions for guests with dogs - There is no dog meadow, as is actually stated in the description. The dog shower is outside the campsite half a kilometer away from the pitch, and the advertised dog beach is also not 300 meters away, but over 1km. All in all, disappointing for dog owners, as the location is not so good for walks. You pay for many things (pool, private beach of the campsite, etc.) and as a dog owner who doesn't want to leave his dogs alone, you have to pay extra for the dog, so you could at least expect something to come back (e.g. poop bags with containers).

"Cheeky and loud. - I would only book online, as the prices on site are almost twice as high. Unfortunately, I saw this too late.

"Noise without end - Rip-off on the beach: most of the beach is occupied by sun loungers for which a fee is charged There is not even toilet paper in the toilets. And at night you have no peace and quiet until almost midnight: you are deafeningly drowned out by loudspeakers from the pool and the neighboring campsite. Never again!

"Not worth the money! - I have booked from 21.08-30.08. and pay €95 per night for my Premium+ pitch with my wife and three children. If my boys want to play soccer on the mostly empty soccer pitch, I have to pay either €50/hour or €70 for an evening. The campsite beach is almost completely covered with sun loungers, which have to be rented for €21-25 per day. According to the brochure, "sunbeds are available to guests subject to availability" but only at an additional cost 🤷🏻. This means that the beach can only be used for a fee. Or you can walk to the crowded "free beach". The campsite itself makes a nice impression, but could be better maintained, especially with the daily rates. The sanitary facilities make a new impression and are spacious. Unfortunately, the cleaning could be better. Cleaning once a day is simply not enough! Soaps and toilet paper are not available. The disinfectant dispensers are empty or defective. Questionable in times of COVID restrictions. All in all, I feel ripped off and don't think the price/performance ratio is appropriate.

"Ultimately no recommendation - Our last attempt in Tuscany - unfortunately a failure. The site has been beautifully renovated, the sanitary facilities are great, the pitches are spacious. The staff are often overwhelmed and occasionally really rude. Check-in takes a long time, chaos on the forecourt is inevitable. During the recent renovation, the approaches for caravans were very unfavorably designed, with a chicane (which I failed at, for which I was allowed to be insulted). The restaurant is not particularly good, but it is booked out very quickly even when the site is not full. Recently there is 10A on site. However, it's not really clear why the fuse has to be locked, and even less clear why it takes almost an hour to reactivate it. The path to the beach is nicely developed, about 700m. The bar there (part of the campsite) is very nice. The rather narrow beach was well filled with "bagno" sets, which were doubled towards the end of our stay. If you are not prepared to pay 25.-/day for a set you are practically out, the remaining free space is hardly reasonable.

Profils

Camping Village Baia Azzurra Club: open-air holidays, since 1971. We are located a mere 150 m away from the renowned Le Rocchette beach and 6 km from Castiglione della Pescaia. This town of international fame will embrace you with its …castle overlooking the harbour, with its colours and smells typical of a fishing town, but also with its shops and small, characteristic restaurants and bars. The beach is easily reached via a path shaded by pine trees; before arriving at the beach you have the chance to stop at the Terrazza 64 and take in the wonderful sight of the Rocchette Fort. You can find both public and private beach. The golden sand, crystalline waters and gently sloping seafloor make our beach perfect for children. Choose from our modern apartments or bungalows, where you will feel just like at home, or opt to stay in one of our pitches with your own camper, caravan or tent… come and visit us, you will be delighted either way! NEW FOR 2024! Fashion Plus and Prestige Bungalows: two new types of accommodation with a modern and functional style! All bungalows have a fully equipped kitchen, TV, air conditioning (warm/cold), private bathroom and a garden or veranda. The apartments have either a terrace with sea view or a garden, and are located just 50 m from the sea! The campsite has different types of pitches. Most of them measure up to 90 m2 and have 10 A electricity; the Platinum and Platinum Plus types are also equipped with waste water disposal and fresh water supply. The campsite has two groups of public sanitary facilities and a group of 20 private bathrooms. Your 4-legged friends are allowed in our pitches! In the centre of the Camping Village you will find two swimming pools with the new Spray Park; all around them lie the restaurant-pizzeria, the grill, the pool bar, the market-bazaar and the Bike Corner. The playground and the sports area (with the padel, tennis and beach volleyball courts and five-a-side football pitch) are instead located behind the pool area. The animation team, headed by our mascot, Bazzù, will keep you entertained with workshops, the mini club, and the eagerly-awaited baby dance, as well as plenty of activities both at the beach and in the sports area! Other services include an infirmary, a meeting room, an internal car park with camper service and charging station for electric cars, free Wi-fi and an ATM.
