Valentin E.July 2020Pozitīvis. TextNegatīvaisThat we only had one day.It wasn't just the Alpine panorama at our campsite that was unique.When I was looking for a place on the Klöntalersee, I thought it was a typical transit site, enough for one night.
But this impression was already overtaken at the registration desk. It's rare to receive such a friendly welcome, and of course the campsite was very full, but there was still room for... the two of us. We were given some documents about the campsite and what you can do in the area. A very good brochure, some history and really very good suggestions.
Our pitch was near the lake with the permanent tenants. But that wasn't a disadvantage, as the permanent tenants here are very friendly and accommodating.
As I said, the pitch was very full, and there are special restrictions in times of Corona. Both my brother and I were in the sanitary facilities several times and at different times. Each time we saw someone cleaning there. Cleanliness therefore *****.
Catering: There is a small garden restaurant with a simple menu, the food was very good and plentiful. The prices are justified.
All in all: This place in this beautiful location is too good not to stay longer. You could easily stay here longer.

Lounge no longer exists...Top location with obstaclesVery nicely located campsite. Unfortunately the groundsman is not very customer-oriented. Regular guests are clearly preferred. Place would actually be car-free, but not everyone sticks to it. No information that luggage trolleys are available. Lounge with fireplace (which is shown on the HP!!!) is not... open, there is only a pavilion used as storage. Lower tent meadow is almost flooded when it rains and is very poorly drained. Bags of food are also placed in the freezer boxes. The staff could be a little more friendly without stress and a lot of commotion.... (More staff) The cars are left at the gravel parking lot despite requests to move the car to the meadow. The shower at the playground should be descaled. The sanitary facilities could be cleaned and refilled at the right times if not everyone washes up, showers or goes to the toilet at the same time.Automātiski tulkots.

When we unpacked, we realized that we had forgotten the tent poles at home. What to do now? In desperation, we went to reception and were lucky. There were tent poles... left for a tent of a similar size and they brought them straight from the depot to the campsite. How relieved we were. What a service and support, which is not a matter of course. We were so grateful and our vacation in this wonderful area could begin. Our son also really wants to come back to you. No structureA great place - fully pressedThe mountains all around, the lake: wonderful! As long as the traffic is kept within limits - dreamlike. However, the whole thing becomes a bit of a disaster when one camper van after another is pushed into this site. There are no pitches in the true sense of the word. Which also gives the site a special... charm. So, then all, or many, are placed up to a distance of 1-2m. Every pitch on a quay wall has more charm. And the pitches are close to the lake access. So, everything is tight, the crowds are naturally looking for a way through. It's great to watch everyone, 1m before your breakfast. We left early.Automātiski tulkots.

Only recommended with a TOP trained dog.Only recommended with a TOP trained dog! It is a beautifully located site and clean. Very long distances to the toilets. Very stressful with a dog. Dogs are expected to be able to accept the entire camping area as a living room carpet. Dogs MUST do their business outside the campsite, otherwise there... is a risk of verbal abuse from permanent tenants and warnings from the groundsman. We were there for 2 weeks and got a great pitch by the lake and we always had the children in view on the playground. The sanitary... facilities were always clean - even when there were several hundred people there over the weekend. The permanent campers are also always friendly and very helpful. A very clean and well-kept site with plenty of space to yourself. The Kölntal is also probably the most beautiful thing Switzerland has to offer. - Howald C.July 2015Family-friendly camping right on the mountain lakeCamping Vorauen is located directly on the beautiful Klöntalersee, which is ideal for swimming and bathing for young and old. The groundsman and groundswoman are very accommodating and family-friendly. When we arrived with our three-week-old daughter, we were offered a shady spot. You can order bread... for the next day. The small kiosk offers a wide selection of essential groceries. The modern sanitary facilities were always clean. Depending on where you are located, these are a 5-minute walk away - a bike is a good solution. It was allowed to make a fire and this made the warm summer nights extremely cozy.
