Lots of nature and away from the hustle and bustle.NegatīvaisSanitary facilities clean, but getting on in years.Always happy to come back here...We've been staying at Camping Zoo in Arco regularly for a few years now. We like the location in the countryside, right next to the Sarca river and the climbing rocks.
The site is ideal for climbing or mountain biking. It is only 5 kilometers to Lake Garda, which can be reached quickly via the cycle... path along the river. This is the right place for sports enthusiasts, whether climbers, cyclists or runners. In Arco you will find vegan ice cream and restaurants with a corresponding offer. A clear plus point for active contemporaries.
On hot days, you can also go to the Sarca or the pool area. It's in the best starting point for climbing (although we prefer the via ferrata in the immediate vicinity), strolling and eating ice cream in Arco, cycling or just relaxing. A beautiful pool or the Sarce invite you to cool off. There is super tasty pizza right on site. There is nowhere to let the dog run around. You have to drive a long way by car. . On the riverbank (separated by a fence), only with a lead, as sheep graze there. In addition, everything is shitty from the sheep. In front of the campsite there... is only one road, which is heavily frequented by cars and bicycles. Even at the campsite, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, otherwise there is a €50 fine. Do that with more than one dog. - Harald H.September 2016Pozitīvi- very nice location - small store - nice receptionNegatīvais- not really disturbing - for larger caravans with awning sometimes quite small pitchesA place for everyone ...We stayed at this campsite for 2 weeks and liked it very much. On arrival (we had booked in advance) we were greeted very nicely and were able to choose a larger pitch despite our booking. As we pitched our caravan including awning, the pitch was quite small (as we also wanted to park our car), but you... could sit quite comfortably in front of the awning. The only disadvantage was the rather hard, sandy, stony ground if you wanted to secure the tent (pre-drilling helps :-)). The site is very nicely situated, you can walk about 3 km to Arco or take the bike, you can climb and hike very nicely and leave the car parked or make excursions to the mountains and via ferratas in the area. The sanitary facilities are very clean for such a large site (about half of our pitch was occupied). In the morning you can buy bread rolls at the reception (also batteries, wine, milk etc., what the camper needs). There were a lot of families with small children on the site, which sometimes caused a lot of noise, but that didn't bother us (we prefer children who are noisy or cry while playing than partying into the night). All in all, a place for sporty families and couples who can make compromises when it comes to comfort, and culture is not neglected either (absolute recommendation: Rocca di Arco!).Automātiski tulkots.
Peter G.June 2016Pozitīvi- Good location for climbers and cyclistsNegatīvais- Small pitches with soft ground in wet conditions - Insufficient supply on the marketbeautifully situated placeThe campsite is located directly at the foot of Monte Colt and the river Sarca. An ideal starting point for climbing tours in the neighboring mountains. A well-developed network of cycle paths of all levels of difficulty also starts right next to the campsite. Lake Garda can be easily reached by bike.... The campsite is simply equipped. In addition to a new sanitary facility, there are two other sanitary buildings that no longer meet today's requirements. The facilities are only cleaned once a day. There are no toilet seats. The pitches are too small for larger caravans. After rainy days, the pitches are very soggy and hardly passable with a camper van (wheels sink into the ground). The small market on the site only has a very limited range of goods (breakfast rolls are offered). For shopping you have to drive about 4 km to Arco. The staff is very friendly and always eager to fulfill the wishes of the guests. WLAN is provided free of charge, but is not available on all pitches. The pool on the campsite is a welcome way to cool off on hot days.Automātiski tulkots.- Mark W.July 2014PozitīviLocation AtmosphereGreat for athletes and active peopleWe were here several times 12 years ago as the area is perfect for mountain biking. We have now returned here with our children and also had a lot of fun. The atmosphere on the site is very good and relaxed, the location is beautiful. The sanitary facilities are all renovated and good. Great cycle paths... lead right past the campsite. Beautiful Arco is just a few minutes away on foot or by bike. The children had lots of fun in the swimming pool and cycling around the campsite. Cotton candy and popcorn were served in the afternoon! The pitch allocated to us did not initially correspond to the category we had booked. We were given a much smaller pitch where we had problems accommodating our tent and car. Our request was dealt with well by the administration and we were then able to choose one of the free pitches. The quality of the pitches varies. There was a small store and fresh bread rolls in the morning. We will definitely be back.Automātiski tulkots.
