New kitchenettes, washing machine and dryer. Very clean, bright, spacious, well sized. Kids 9 and 12 really liked the playground on the campsite, swimming with very gradual entry into clear water. Prices accustomed... in the area. Very helpful staff at reception. A short walk from the campsite (bike, car) LIDL store. Within 10 minutes walk then the train stop, covered by free rides with Erlebnis Karte Carinthia. Next to the campsite there is a cycle path around the lake.Automātiski tulkots.

Great location on Lake Ossiach and only a few kilometers before the Villach junction. In the season you can also arrive later (around 9.00 pm or 9.30 pm) and you have the chance of a parking space. Unfortunately, the... restaurant closes punctually at 9 p.m., so there is a delta here. What a pity.
And compared to 2021, when we paid EUR 24.70 for the night, the current price of EUR 55.20 is a cheek. But at least electricity, toilet and shower.Automātiski tulkots.

We have already stopped there twice with the camper van on our way south. The location of the campsite on the beautiful lake and the design of the shore and beach area are... excellent. The check-in process is quick and professional. There is a generous waiting lane for arriving caravans and camper vans. The pitches are also sufficient for double-axle vehicles and large camper vans.
It is irritating that the power points are fitted with Schuco plugs and not CE connections, which causes problems for some campers. Missing adapters must be borrowed from reception.
Superior pitches have their own CE power points, including water connection. The pitches are on grass, which looks a bit
damaged during the season. If it rains continuously, this can lead to soaking and the accessibility of the pitches may be restricted.
There is acceptable and free WLAN. A lakeside sauna is available.
The lake access is also a public swimming pool, which can lead to a lot of life on the sunbathing lawn on summer days. Access to the main wash house is therefore regulated via chip cards for camping guests, so that day guests cannot use them. The cleanliness on the site is good, the wash houses are at the limit of their capacity at peak times, but the state of cleanliness in the communal areas also depends on the guests' understanding of hygiene.
There is a lively restaurant and a small store with a bread roll service.
We really like the great panorama of the lake and the surrounding mountains and the many excursion destinations that can be reached from the lakeside campsite. Villach is only 5 minutes away by car.

Villach is very close by and also easy to reach by bike.
Water sports activities are easily possible, such as SUP, kayaking etc.

The pitches are partly under trees, overgrown with grass and partly uneven. During the day it is a bit noisy due to the road and the train, but at night it is mostly very quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful.... The distances to electricity, water and waste water can be very long depending on the pitch. You should have enough cable with you. We've seen a lot of campsites now, but this site is one of our top 10. The pitches are quite large, but some of them are quite sloping, but can be approached easily. The site was full during our stay, so there was a bit of a wait at the... showers and dishwashing points (but it didn't matter, we were on vacation). The restaurant has an extensive menu (for all tastes). The store is well stocked and has a good price-performance ratio. There is a program for children aged 4-14. The campsite is suitable for all age groups. Bicycles can be rented directly at the campsite. Water sports enthusiasts are also catered for, boats can be hired.

Unfortunately, it was raining when we were there, so the pitches were all very muddy.
There is a lovely sunbathing lawn with access to the lake, but due to the weather I don't know if you have to share it with lots of lake bathers on nice days.
The sanitary facilities are good. Unfortunately, the WLAN does not work on the entire site.

The arrival, pitch selection and check-in went smoothly. There are lots of nice pitches and the campsite itself is very well located - no tight spots, very close to the highway and yet right on the lake.
During our stay, we noticed two members of staff... who were unfortunately quite unfriendly. I found it particularly rude when I was told off quite harshly on the way to the parking lot with our two small children because I had thrown a(!) diaper into the large garbage can standing there as we walked past. Without saying hello, a lady approached me to tell me not to fill up "her" garbage can. Perhaps this garbage can should be moved to a different location and not right next to the main entrance...
However, two other employees were very friendly and eager to help, it's just a shame when you mainly meet the other kind...
The campsite itself is nice and clean. There are also some very shady pitches.
Unfortunately the sanitary facilities are very moldy. The water running time in the showers is also very short. I had to press the button three or four times just to get my hair wet.
If you went to wash the dishes in the morning, you still had enough hot water. If there were already several people washing up, unfortunately no more hot water came out.

Regarding the water running times: there are also showers... here with control taps, where you can regulate not only the temperature but also the duration yourself.
Personally, I think it's a shame that you didn't come to me during your stay.
Maybe we'll do better next time - who knows!
