Despite high season, the place was only about 50% occupied.NegatīvaisCompletely unsuitable for the disabled. Access to the sanitary facilities far too steep. These exude the flair of the 70s. But they are clean.BeautifulCPNice and quiet CP. Unfortunately very weak WLAN. The small town of Eberbach can be reached on foot in 20 minutes.Automātiski tulkots.- Norbert M.July 2023PozitīviLocationNegatīvaisCondition of the CPnice CP but "shitty"Actually a beautifully located CP but the CP is "shitty" from front to back by geese. The path across the site resembles a "minefield", especially when it is dark (the site is very badly lit) and you then go into the camper or caravan with shoes like these. The path to the outdated sanitary facilities... resembles a mountain hiking trail, steeply washed out, an imposition in terms of the risk of accidents. The men's showers are of limited use as some of the mixer taps do not work.
Gastronomy on site very !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! expensive, if you take the food with you to the pitch you sometimes pay half !!!!????

We really liked the tranquillity of the site and the great location on the Neckar.

Unfortunately we had to leave early because the Neckar had risen by more than 2m overnight. The next morning there was still about 40cm from the river to the edge of the lawn before we would have gotten "wet feet". The water level rose. The parking lot in... Eberbach at the ferry landing stage was closed. The Neckar had turned from a calm river into a powerful current overnight. The riverside road to Hirschhorn was closed due to flooding. We were very surprised that the campsite operator didn't think it was necessary to inform the campers about this or that we could have moved to a higher pitch, but we wouldn't have been able to leave if the water level had risen. She made fun of this on departure with the words: "the Neckar is falling again, are you afraid of floods?". After yesterday's flood disaster in North Rhine-Westphalia and the extreme rainfall in the Stuttgart area that night, when the Neckar rose extremely, it can be described as grossly negligent that the campsite operator did not consider it necessary to inform the campers about this. Even a small, friendly "thank you" after I put €100 on the counter for three nights and the money was thrown back at me without comment would have cost nothing. You can see what our world has become out of greed for profit. I don't think it's likely we'll see them again.Automātiski tulkots.

Directly on the Neckar, opposite the beautiful town of Eberbach. The reception is very friendly and there is a bread roll service. As there are only a few power points, you may need a long cable. The busy road on the other bank is a bit of a nuisance and there... is no midday peace. A drainage pipe leads directly into the Neckar, which smells a bit strong. The wash house is a bit outdated, but clean. The chemical toilet is located in the men's toilet, so watch out for women traveling alone! Unfortunately, there are no washing and toilet facilities for children. The path to the wash house is also a little difficult for people who have difficulty walking.Automātiski tulkots.

Good shopping facilities Bread roll service on siteNegatīvaisnoneCampsite close to the cityWe were at the campsite in Eberbach over Whitsun with a group of 7 caravans and a tent. The hostess made it possible for us all to have our pitches together. Our group consisted of paddlers, cyclists and pedestrians. The direct location on the Neckar was ideal for getting in and out of the boats. The... cycle path runs directly behind the campsite. The old town of Eberbach with its lovely cafés and ice cream parlors is perfect for a stroll. The path to the old town leads from the campsite over a bridge.
You could order bread rolls at the campsite.

The pitches are beautifully maintained. There is a nice restaurant with a terrace, although we can't say anything about the food as we didn't use it. There is also a small store at the registration... desk and the bread roll service is excellent. The sanitary facilities are absolutely fine and were always clean. There are also lots of leisure and excursion options in the area. The location on the Neckar with a view of Eberbach is just great. The site is well maintained, the staff friendly, the sanitary facilities old but always clean. The restaurant on site with Cuban cuisine is very good and, if you're lucky, there's live Cuban music. You can hear the main road on the other side of the Neckar, but that wasn't a problem for us.Automātiski tulkots.

- Anja L.August 2017Between two main roads / no peace and quietUnfortunately, we had bad luck and a lot of rain. The pitch was totally muddy and we were all drowning. The location, or rather the view of the Neckar and the old town, is really nice, but the pitch is between two main roads and the Neckar doesn't really insulate anything. There was constant traffic noise or noise from construction work, lawnmowers etc.Automātiski tulkots.

Friendly reception staff. Camping meadow is divided into pitches by pitch numbers. Some hollows fill up briefly when it rains. Electricity distributors and water taps are approx. 50 m apart. Waste water and faeces sink in the men's toilet. Tiles... in the sanitary building from the 70s. There are 3 small basins for washing up. Very long distances to the rear pitches. All in all, no longer up to date. In June the swan family in the camping area had offspring. The father swan attacked the dark, reflective vehicles every morning. Meanwhile, the rest of the family littered the meadow. However, the location opposite the beautiful town of Eberbach with its shopping facilities and the cycle path running past compensates for this. Like now over Whitsun. It's always a pleasure to watch the hustle and bustle in the front row by the river. Pure relaxation. Eberbach old town within easy walking distance. Very friendly at reception. Bread roll service impeccable. Sanitary facilities perhaps no longer stylish, but old does not necessarily mean bad. It was always clean. Sanitary facilities simple, but clean (note: mold joints have been removed, how permanently remains to be seen). Bicycle paths right outside the door, as well as the outdoor pool. As a campsite... user, access to the outdoor pool is also possible twice a day with a ticket. Kids (10 and 13) also felt at home. In my opinion, the 3 washing-up stations are somewhat undersized. Chemical spout in the men's toilet. Nevertheless: great, relaxing days, we will definitely be back.Automātiski tulkots.
