I'm only saying this here so that it gets through and parents pay a little more attention to "education".Top for the first time camping.Nice place in the forest with sun. Not much sun on the pitch towards the evening, but that's not really bad.
We were very satisfied for our first time. Swimming lake right next door.
The sanitary facilities were also great and clean. Friendly guests and owners, the children made contact quickly. Shopping facilities 4 km away (Edeka) in Hutzfeld. Restaurants and cafes in the village. The Baltic Sea, Kiel and Lübeck are within easy reach by car. The groundsman is very friendly and competent and helps where he can. The right place for people looking for peace and relaxation.Automātiski tulkots.

The site manager is super friendly. The pitches are all very well maintained and separated by hedges. Everything is very clean. There are no shopping facilities on site, but there is a restaurant at the "bathing area" and that... was enough for us for the weekend. If you want to go shopping, you have to go by car. Felt comfortable here. The grandchildren could play on the playground and on the beach. Playground equipment was not all repaired by the city of Bosau. We were not told that there were no bathing facilities for children who were not yet walking and no baby changing facilities in the sanitary facilities. On arrival we were offered the stainless steel basin in the laundry room. There... was no functioning dryer available. Walter C.June 2016PozitīviPitches, sanitary facilities, lakeside locationNegatīvaisSupplies (bread rolls, food)Well-equipped pitch in a beautiful locationWe were there for 10 days with the motorhome just before the start of the SH summer vacation. Spacious green pitches, parceled out by small bushes, all with electricity, water and drainage. The sanitary building is fairly new and spacious, everything is extremely clean. A few little things could be improved,... e.g. shelves in the showers. Not so nice is the closure of the sanitary facilities from 10 pm to 6 am. During this time there is only one night toilet. But you can adjust to that. The location right on the lake is great. Coarse sandy beach, clear water, gently sloping. Large green areas in front with lots of play areas. There is a snack bar on the beach with a few dishes; it's okay, but nothing more. The town is pretty and has some nice restaurants. You can get bread rolls there, but they're not available at the campsite. The nearest grocery store is in Hutzfeld, about 5 km away. Or in Plön, where you can also take the boat from Bosau, for example. During the week (Mon.-Fri.) it was very quiet. At the weekend the permanent campers come, which you can clearly hear. But it was still within limits. The groundsman is extremely nice and courteous. The price is quite reasonable for what the site offers. You receive a friendly welcome throughout the site. The cleanliness of the sanitary building and the whole site is excellent. The absolute proximity to the lake is outstanding, even if you can't get a direct lakeside pitch as a day guest.... This is reserved for permanent campers. The on-site catering is rather poor. Brötchen Holzmann approx. 1.5 km away, the rest is only available in Plön. 11 km. There is also a beach bistro on site with a good price/performance ratio. Permanent campers form a group with their own dynamic that cares little about peace and consideration. You get the impression that vacation campers are merely tolerated and that the permanent campers determine... the background noise at all times of the day and night. Considering the price-performance ratio, what is on offer seems too expensive. Overall: Campsite on the whole ok, but there are nicer and more relaxing places!!!!!Automātiski tulkots.

The site itself is dominated by permanent campers and many pitches are nicely separated by hedges. In the fairly new sanitary building there were meters of dusty cobwebs hanging from the ceilings, and there was also centimetre-thick dust on the air conditioning... pipes. If you want to go on a bike tour in the evening, you shouldn't come back so late, because the showers are closed from 10 pm. Then there are only separate night toilets open .... and there is always a queue for the girls at the weekend. I don't want to go into detail about what the two toilets look like after a short time with such heavy footfall. The so-called beach is actually really great ... clear water, a playground for young and old and unfortunately a lot of goose droppings on the sand and lawns. All in all....the campsite certainly has potential, but there is still a lot of room for improvement. Conclusion: The price is okay but we can't find the 4 stars here again.Automātiski tulkots.

There are only 2 ladies night toilets from 10 pm to 6 am and 1 men's toilet. This is clearly not enough during the vacation periods. This results in long waiting times. The groundsman is super nice. The sanitary facilities are great, showers have to be paid for (€0.60 / 5 min.) but that's enough as the water can be turned off in between. Unfortunately... there is no grocery store in the immediate vicinity, but no problem by car. Nice Italian restaurant in the village. However, it only opens at 10 a.m. and breakfast is only served from 10.30 a.m. This is far too late and as cycle tourists we didn't have anything else with us. Well protected to the NW, as a forest keeps the wind out. We had booked the only rental bathroom. Unfortunately not usable from 2200 - 0600, as the sanitary building is locked. Once even the night toilets were... not open. The reception is not manned. At the posted opening times, the groundskeeper could only be reached by cell phone. Good for those who have one! In the village a bakery, a very nice cafe, a recommended restaurant and a church. the nearest Edeka is 5 KM away.Automātiski tulkots.

We found the site to be very quiet and didn't see the restricted opening hours of the wash house as a disadvantage. The location is very beautiful and there... are many leisure activities in the surrounding area. We enjoyed walking or cycling to the village to buy our daily bread rolls, as it was nice and not too far. We would certainly like to come back.Automātiski tulkots.
- simone r.July 2013Positive: -Location at the lido -well-run restaurant directly at the lido -restaurants and confectioner nearby -very comfortable wash house -separate dog bathing area Negative: -Despite the indication of wifi in the ADAC Camping Guide 2012/13, none is available -No fresh water / waste water on the entire... site, only on some selected holidaymaker pitches -No sustainable application of the site rules -Noise and loud celebrations from the sailing club on the site -Noise and celebrations late into the night at weekends, especially from "good friends" of the cleaning lady. Visitors then like to show how beautifully an old AMI V8 can roar at lunchtime. There are then echoes from Harleys that have been specially started up to the rev limit. For fear of reprisals, the neighbors better not say anything, otherwise there will be trouble from the Harley owner or the cleaning lady. -The groundsman tries hard, but is not able to enforce the site rules -vehicle traffic at lunchtime from 13:00 - 15:00, sometimes even after 22:00, selected people have a key to the barrier, which is otherwise locked during the rest period. -Cleaning of the washroom is now quite sloppy, cobwebs and dirt on the floor are only removed in the middle of the room, the corners are probably only cleaned during the winter break. Toilet seats and lids are worn, mold stains in the showers, there is no shelf for shower gel, etc. -Washbasins in the washrooms occasionally littered with pubic hair, stubble and dirt. -When entering the night toilets you have to be careful not to walk into the cobwebs. There are no facilities or facilities for families with children. Rather recommended for people who don't mind noise or who are only on the site on weekdays. However, it is well suited for partying and there is no need to fear reprisals. At the end of this season (2013), many permanent tenants gave up their pitches.Automātiski tulkots.
