If you are looking for peace and tranquillity and love nature, this is the place for you!
I only spent one night there, but it's enough for a review. I was met with authentic friendliness and cordiality.
If you're looking for Ramba Zamba, you're in the wrong place. It is not a Hilton replacement but everything is as it should be. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. One night earlier... at another campsite further north, nothing was better or worse, just almost twice as expensive!
The reason I didn't rate it is because I was traveling alone and had only booked one night. That doesn't mean anything negative, just that I can't judge.
I would be happy to come back at some point, perhaps for longer.

Very quiet campsite in the middle of the forest; pitch on a large meadow; simple but very clean sanitary facilities. The owner couple are extremely friendly and helpful!

Quiet campsite in a good location
We (2 adults, 2 children, dog) spent three nights on the site.
Yes, the site has certainly seen better days and is not quite as modern. There's not much going on, but you're undisturbed. In in
We were the only short-term campers and therefore had the whole site (meadow) to ourselves. There are a lot... of permanent campers on the other pitches, but you hardly notice them. It was absolutely quiet in the morning, evening and at night.
There is no bread roll service or similar, but in Querfurt (just under 10 minutes drive) there are numerous shopping opportunities.
Due to the location of the campsite, however, it is easy to reach the sights in the surrounding area, including Querfurt with its castle, the site where the Nebra Sky Disk was found, the Geiseltalsee lake and the model railway in Wiehe.
The sanitary facilities are in good order and it is possible to dispose of the chemical toilet. There is also a dishwashing facility. Coin-operated washing machines are also available.
The operators are very friendly and live on the site. We paid €96 for the 3 nights, which is relatively cheap.

Visit Hermannseck
The friendliness of the two representatives of the campsite bosses,
the Heinrich family, was outstanding!
I really felt very welcome and I was also helped with borrowing a chair, uncomplicated, simply great atmosphere.
The sanitary facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the "nature" campsite... was very peaceful.
If it wasn't so far away from my home, I would relax there more often.
If I'm ever in the vicinity again (50km), I'd love to go again.

Camping in the middle of the forest
We were very satisfied with the place. Price-performance ratio is ok. If you are looking for peace and quiet and a good starting point for exploring the surrounding Saale/Unstruttal, Naumburg, Weimar ect. is right here. Uncomplicated reception also possible in the evening.

The location was excellent for me, as I was visiting both the Buchenwald concentration camp memorial (Weimar) and Mittelbau-Dora (Nordhausen). The area is good for hiking but also has beautiful sights (Allstedt Castle). The place is very quiet and sufficient for a short stay. The operator is very nice... and always ready for a little chat. There is no bread roll service or similar on the site, but there is a Camping-Klause, a small restaurant on the campsite, at weekends.

Very nice staff. Uncomplicated handling, spacious site with lots of greenery. Good starting point for cycling tours (Nebra Sky Disk) and the Ziegelroda Forest. Mushroom pickers also get their money's worth. The buildings of the permanent campers along with the fence/hedge and façade painting are funny or take some getting used to, but definitely worth noting... ;-) ...my caravan is my castle.
