S.August 2024PozitīviLocation on the Danube, close to the skate park and close to the cityNegatīvaisCleanliness of the sanitary facilities, voltage fluctuations in the power supplyBeautiful place with compromisesIt was our second time at this campsite - just for two nights, because the boy loves the skate park. Meanwhile, mom and dad chilled out, which was nice. Despite its proximity to a busy junction and a local exit, the campsite is quiet. The staff are friendly, everything is fine so far.
Unlike last year,... however, the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was not ideal this year. Everything should be thoroughly cleaned again (dirty partitions in the toilets, cobwebs, the floor was not clean, the hand basins in both toilets had clear signs of use).
We also had problems with the power supply and voltage. The WLAN was almost impossible to use.Automātiski tulkots. - Barbara E.April 2022Pozitīvi- Seating near the barrels - Proximity to Sigmaringen, Danube, riverside parkNegatīvais-Price for a family with 2 children, without a car 44 euros: that's too expensive for what the site offers - Parceled pitches, rather cramped, lots on offer in a small space (plots, huts, barrels, log cabins, ...), no open spaces - No facilities for children (sanitary facilities, playground, meadow, ...)Price-performance ratio is not right for meWe only stayed at this site with a tent and without a car. Unfortunately, there are only whole pitches and no facilities for cyclists (despite the Danube cycle path). What bothered me most was the high price per child. As a family with 2 children, we paid 44 euros for a tent without a car. There is hardly... anything for children. No child-friendly shower, washbasin, meadow to play on, playground, ... The comparatively high price for the children doesn't make sense to me.
The wash house is very cramped, as is the dishwashing room, and you always need a key for the wash house. Children can't even go to the toilet on their own.
For a lower price, all these points wouldn't bother me so much. But in comparison with other campsites, the rating for this campsite is unfortunately poor. We really enjoyed the wonderful view of Sigmaringen Castle and the short walk to the Danube.

The site is manageable and very cozy. Unfortunately, there are no shops on the site, but Kaufland is not far away. You just have to think ahead for Sundays and public holidays. The steakhouse on the square is only open from Thu... to Sun.
Can't understand some of the comments. The friendliness of the staff is okay. They are not over-friendly (we don't need them to be), but they take care of everything and you know where to go. It's not as noisy as some people say. Of course you can hear the main road in places, but it's not really annoying. The tuning scene in SIG is a bit over-motivated, but these are noises that can only be heard for a short time (drifting, accelerating). Everyone knows what the course is like and has to put up with traffic noise. But as I said, it's not really loud and above all not permanently loud.
The showers and toilets are tidy and are cleaned regularly and cleanly. In terms of space, the sanitary area could be a little larger. The washing-up area is also very small. The water was always very hot.Automātiski tulkots.

Siegmaringen Castle is a 10-minute walk away. The small campsite is designed with lots of greenery and offers many beautiful pitches. The site is popular with families with children. Especially cyclists... and canoeists. It can get a bit "lively" during the day, but it was always quiet at night. The road is easy to hear. The sanitary facilities are new. Showers are included. Access only with key, which guests receive against a deposit. The site is well frequented in the season, often fully booked. Overall, a beautiful and well-run campsite.Automātiski tulkots.

All pitches with grass, electricity and water. A lot has been done here. Showers without coin slot and with good separation for clothes. The shower head from above is great, but if a woman only wants to shower... and not wash her hair, there is no hand shower. But that's complaining on a high level. Youth groups and sleeping barrels are accommodated in a separate part of the campsite, which ensures plenty of peace and quiet. The high ropes course, mini golf and human table soccer are great. Only the main road can be heard a little. Fresh bread rolls and groceries are available at Kaufland, a 5-minute walk away. Sigmaringen can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. The gastronomy in Sigmaringen is excellent and a Hohenzollern cake in the Hofkonditorei Seelos is recommended after the castle tour. The Palmengarten steakhouse at the campsite also offers delicious steaks and burgers. The salad, however, still has room for improvement. This impression was confirmed, the sanitary facilities and the whole site are clean and very well maintained. The staff are very friendly. I think this site is particularly suitable... for families with children, as there are lots of leisure facilities. The restaurant next to the campsite is good and the price/performance ratio is balanced. In my opinion, it's a very nice place that I will definitely visit again.Automātiski tulkots.
