"Kato Alissos eher ein Durchgangsplatz zum Warten auf die Fähre. - Dies ist kein Platz für Camper die mehrere Wochen bleiben wollen sondern tatsächlich nur ein Durchgangsplatz. Wir sind auf Grund des Zustandes am nächsten Tag weiter gefahren.

"Geeignet zum Übernachten von und zur Fähre - Platz liegt güstig zur An und Abreise inder nähe von Patras. Das Restaurant vor dem Platz ist sehr zu empfehlen.

"Für 1-2 Tage - Juli 2009: Idealer CP um auf die Fähre zu warten. Man kann ohne Mehrkosten am Abreisetag bis zur Abfahrtszeit der Fähre bleiben. Wir besuchen diesen Platz schon seit vielen Jahren mit dem WOMO. Essen in der Taverne gut und preislich angemessen. Am Strand befindet sich auch eine Strandbar. Alles in allem sehr angenehm. Juli 2014: Leider wurde die Strandbar durch das Meer unterspühlt und ist nicht mehr in Betrieb. Auch die Duschen sind nicht mehr aktiv, Duschen befinden sich jetzt ca 50m vom Strand beim Restaurant.

" - Petit camping sans prétention, à l'accueil sympathique. Très ombragé. L'accueil des chiens (nombreux lors de notre séjour) entraîne malheureusement des nuisances sonores. Sanitaires corrects, frigos et cuisine collectifs. Malheureusement, la plage, mal entretenue, n'était pas très attirante. Très agréable resto à la cuisine typique.

" - CP in der Nähe von Patras mit Zitronenbäumen. Dies dürften jedoch auch die einzigen positiven Punkte sein. Der Strand ist schmutzig, schmal und das Wasser voller Algen; eigentlich nicht benutzbar. Es gibt ein Restaurant und einen kleinen Laden, welcher jedoch nicht viel bietet. Die Sanitäranlagen sind knapp in Ordnung. Wollten ursprünglich 2 Nächte bleiben, sind dann aber für die zweite Nacht zum CP Akrata Beach (60Km östlich von Patras) gewechselt. Auch für Transit zur/von der Fähre würden wir den etwas weiter gelegenen CP Akrata Beach empfehlen.

" - Kleiner Platz, der nicht direkt am Strand liegt. Der Strand selbst ist sehr schmal und nicht sehr sauber. Die Sanitäranlagen auf dem Platz sind alt aber noch in gutem Zustand und angemessen sauber. Sehr zu empfehlen ist die Taverne vor dem Platz mit leckerem Essen und toller Aussicht. Die Preise waren angemessen. Am besten eignet sich der Platz für ein Übernachtung vor Abfahrt der Fähre bzw. nach Ankunft mit der Fähre, da nur wenige Kilometer von Patras entfernt.

Our Camping's position is in Peloponnese, 21 km west of Patras, at KATO ALISSOS beach. It is in a nature and green environment. Olive trees, orange trees, lemon trees and many other kinds of trees and plant decorate all of …the place. Taste our traditional recipes under the shadow of the 1000 years old and huge wild olive tree, with the view of Patraikos bay and the city of Patras. Visit the see-sights of our area and learn about the ancient and present Greek culture. Enjoy the Greek hospitality. Have a loosening and happy holiday at camping "KATO ALISSOS".

If you are coming from Patras: Follow the coastal road, which will drive you to the National Road from Patras to Pyrgos. If you are coming from Patras port, you will find easily the coastal road by turning right from …any exit of the port and then continue straight ahead. You can choose whether you will follow the New or the Old National Road. During the whole trip, the position of the sea must be always at your right side. For your help there are signs during the whole trip, at both National Roads. When you arrive at the 21st km. of the National Road from Patras to Pyrgos, you must turn right, following the corresponding signs. You will find the camping after about 500 metres. If you are coming from Pyrgos-Olympia: If you are coming from Pyrgos or Olympia you will pass the first crossing to KATO ACHAIA. After about 1000 metres you will find the second crossing of KATO ACHAIA. You have to turn left and after about 500 metres you will find the Old National Road. In this crossing you have to turn right, following the signs of the camping. After about 1 km. you will find the crossing which is driving to the camping. You must turn left following the signs and you will find the camping after about 500 metres.
