The food in the small beer garden was super fresh and the service extremely quick and attentive. But the shower is at a pleasant temperature and a perfect jet really does come out of the tap.Dream location on the lake with perfect serviceThe location directly on the lake is fantastic. Pedal boats and stand-up paddle boards can be hired. The pitches are clean and all have a pleasant view. The small beer garden is great. There are fresh dishes at fair prices. The showers and toilets are clean. We were warmly welcomed and immediately allocated a campsite right by the water before we had even checked in. The sanitary facilities are bright, modern and clean. The restaurant on site served Croatian cuisine, which we of course tried straight away. It was extremely good and delicious. A pre-breaded schnitzel from the freezer where you could smell the factory farming. Low-quality meat, which should no longer be available nowadays, even for animal welfare reasons. As soon as we arrived, we noticed the small pitches on the campsite. But we thought we'd taken precautions and asked in advance for a larger pitch with approx. 100 square meters. When we registered, we were told that we had even booked "two"... pitches. We were surprised and wanted to have a look at the pitch first. What we found was a small pitch surrounded by other campers. There was a large electricity box on the pitch and a big mud hole in front of it. We were put off with the statement that this was a natural campsite but we were assured that the mud hole would be filled the next day. We agreed and pitched up at the local site. Unfortunately, we waited in vain the next day and the day after that for the mud hole to be filled in. It was only on the third day that it was filled with gravel after several requests. Now we come to the next problem at this campsite, the cars. Due to the already small pitches, there are almost no possibilities to park your car, but if you can, you are told almost daily that you should not park your car on the pitches. If you criticize this and also point out the poor condition of the parking space, you will be turned away by the unfriendly groundsman who some people here describe as quaint. I would rather describe him as incompetent and confused. Other campers also told us that the new owners don't really have an overview of their campsite, the previous owner was better at that. We finally decided to leave after 7 days and spend the remaining days at another campsite which was much better. When we left, they also wanted to rip us off by charging us for "two" pitches... Simply outrageous! In conclusion, if you want to spend your vacation on a small campsite where you are close together, then Camping Lambach is just right for you! But if you want peace and quiet and don't want to stand on a muddy pitch, you should book somewhere else. The only bright spot on this campsite is the restaurant. The food and especially the homemade pizza is very tasty!!! ;)Automātiski tulkots.

However, there are still parking spaces between the road and the campsite on the lakeshore.The most beautiful place on Lake Chiemsee!Beautiful natural campsite with shade trees right on the shores of Lake Chiemsee in a bird sanctuary. Unusually nice washrooms, everything nice and clean, beautifully planted and very friendly and helpful management, delicious food in the "Steghäusl" at the campsite and boat rental. One weekend when... I was there, it was the start of the vacation season in Bavaria and the campsite was really packed - so the sanitary facilities can get a bit cramped at certain times and the ground is wet. Nevertheless, it was always freshly mopped in between. The pitch was very busy with all the arrivals, but nobody lost their cool. The site is also perfect for cozy camper meetings. I can fully agree with the good reviews here - I really can't understand the bad ones, I've just experienced the opposite. I stood in the middle of the site with a camper van - the road didn't bother me - but in a tent at the very back of the road I can imagine that a horde of motorcycles can roar past quite loudly in great weather. But that doesn't happen every quarter of an hour. On Saturday evening there was live music and Steckerlfisch around the campfire, but not HalliGalli but 2 very good guitarists with oldies and country - just right, also the volume - very romantic to sit around the fire or on the jetty and listen... Ok - it's a matter of taste - others might prefer an open air disco ;-) I was there twice in 2017, in June and July, and because I was so impressed I also wrote a more extensive introduction to the site with lots of photos in the Pössl forum. The fact that it was not on the lakeshore but in front of the sanitary building was fine under the circumstances. The owners and their employees spread a very pleasant and familiar atmosphere on the site. The staff at the kiosk/bistro are also very friendly,... but the price level is too high. The panorama and the bathing facilities are fantastic and very suitable for children due to the shallow water. The sanitary facilities are in very good condition but a little undersized for the fully occupied site. The operator could give some thought to the ventilation concept of the toilets and take the opportunity to install decent shower heads that emit more than just spray mist. This is all acceptable, but the noise pollution from the nearby country road really kills the fun. If it hadn't been for this, it could have been the perfect stay.Automātiski tulkots.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The campsite is located directly on a busy road which is often used as a racetrack for motorcycles. The sanitary facilities are not very clean and there is always a bad smell in the toilets. They are also not cleaned every day.... The pitches are so small that you sometimes have to park your car outside the pitch next to the road. Our pitch was 49m2 small. The pitch next to it was occupied by a monster car, who was allowed to park his 300 hp sports car next to it. Maybe he paid for more spaces, you can't see the pitches, only the groundsman knows. A very nice welcome, a friendly and competent groundsman and this fantastic location right on the lake. A "bathing area" with free sun loungers (!), a bathing and boat jetty (with pedal and electric boat hire) and the kiosk ("Steghäusl"), with great food made from fresh produce. The groundsman was very friendly. We arrived by car and got a pitch for our tent right by the lake. You have a wonderful view of the Chiemsee. The campsite was ideal, as there were trees that provided us with shade all day. It was easy to get into... the lake via a wooden footbridge with steps. You could also hire pedal boats there, for example. The sanitary facilities were fine, only the shower floors could be wiped once or twice more as a lot of hair collects there. The mobile bakery was also great, coming every morning with really fresh bread rolls. You could also buy cakes, cheese, sausage, eggs and yogurt from the baker. The food at the "Steghäusl" was great, but unfortunately the service was unfriendly and stroppy, so I can't give it five stars. Nevertheless, it was a very nice weekend at Lake Chiemsee.Automātiski tulkots.
