Place only 10 min drive from the open-air museum Hjerl Hede. Good location to the fjord. 5 min walk to the beach.

Nettles on the path to the beach. However, they were removed in the evening with a brush cutter.
One overnight stay due to museum visit Hjerl Hede
A real Dane runs the course. A touch of the Vikings when you stand opposite Jan. You can see that the Danes were able to face the dangers of the sea and the winds with courage.

The host is humorous and knows how to make the site family-friendly. The facilities for small children are very lovingly designed.

Partially open landscape - especially in windy weather.
An extremely quiet site with views of Venø Bay
The site is being "rebuilt" by a very experienced camp manager couple. We have met them in other places where things were near perfect. You could say that the site is very open and it can be difficult to find shelter from the prevailing westerly wind. It will be exciting to see the site in a few years.
