EuroParcs Beekbergen is tucked away between green forests in the centre of the Veluwe. This cosy family park is located between Loenen and Beekbergen. Because the park is surrounded by nature, you are guaranteed to relax completely. From the holiday park you can easily walk to the Loenense waterfalls. There are also national parks nearby, such as the Veluwezoom National Park and the Hoge Veluwe National Park, where you can walk through vast heathlands, through forests and over sand drifts. The Hoge Veluwe National Park is not only the largest national park in the Netherlands, it is also home to the Kröller-Müller Museum with the second largest Van Gogh collection in the world! You can also be in the 'Sahara of the Netherlands', Kootwijkerzand, in half an hour. And have you ever heard of Radio Kootwijk? This striking building served as a radio station a century ago. Apeldoorn is also home to Omnisport with a cycling and athletics track. In the area surrounding the park, some impressive castles tower over the landscape. If you cycle along the popular 8 Castles Route, you will pass Vorden Castle, where you can also take a look inside. Or imagine travelling back in time on board the Veluwe steam train that runs between Beekbergen and Dieren.
