Beautiful location right by the sea, after a short walk along the sea you come to a place where dolphins jump and frolic. We were able to watch them 3 days in a row, it felt like they were included in the price. You don't see them... that close in the wild everywhere. Paid under 25 pounds for campervan with electrics. The town of Fortrose has great pubs, where Scottish live music is also played. In the neighboring village of Rosemarkie, which is within walking distance (along the sea), there is also a great bay for swimming! From there, there is a really nice path to a cave. A very beautiful area! The pretty town of Inverness is also close by. The place is highly recommended. (There is another lovely campsite nearby, but it is much more expensive, but for members of the Caravan Club. Christel M.maijs 2016PozitīviNear Chanonry and Inverness nice placeNegatīvaisPublic road divides the square.Nice campsite in a beautiful locationWe chose this site to be close to Inverness and Chanonry (dolphin watching). It's a bit poorly signposted (the normal road goes through the campsite, so to speak - but there's not much traffic). But we were given a very nice welcome (family atmosphere). The sanitary facilities are a bit basic but clean.... The location is great, right on the water with a view of the Moray Firth. The Chanonry dolphin viewing point is even within walking distance (15-20 minutes on or via the golf course). We have a small quiet public road that runs through the campsite and encourage cars to drive slowly with the signposts. We are glad you were able to see the dolphins at Chanonry Point.
