Super beach clean water, you can rent sup, some trees and Super campground cool beach, clear water, you can rent sup, despite the occupancy of the campground is not crowded on the beach. On the beach some trees and grass and sandy beach. Campsites right on the beach. We even managed with a view of the beaches No. 113. Close to the bar with cold beer and food like fries and burgers. Plenty of restrooms and showers. Relatively inexpensive. In 2022 this is our 4th campsite and is the cheapest. You can drive in and out whenever you want. At other campgrounds they close at certain times and here they don't. Super!

In general, everything was ok. toilets too rarely cleaned.... Hot water in the showers paid - 0,20 for 5 min. No taps with water on the campsite We were when it was very hot so the camping stands were not shaded because not enough trees.

Clean sanitary area, nice showers with separate washbasin

Hardly suitable for travelers passing through
We were on the site for a stopover on the way to France. While basics such as cleanliness and friendliness of the staff leave nothing to be desired, the overall picture is more than difficult.

What we didn't know (and didn't research based on our experience): You don't officially leave the campsite... until 10 am. This more or less disqualified the campsite for travelers passing through. We left earlier with the help of a friendly service employee. Interestingly, the permanent campers with keys drive in and out without any problems.

The money-grubbing for electricity and showers is also annoying. While I find the 20 cents for the really clean and well-equipped shower ok (also against a background of energy savings), I find 50 cents for electricity, which was already used up after less than 12 hours, more than unreasonable.

All in all, as a traveler you feel like a guest in an allotment garden club

Quite small plots for tourists.
Camping directly on the lake
We spent the Whitsun weekend on this site, which has just opened for tourist campers. Corona test from the same day is required. Otherwise, the sanitary building is open (masks compulsory) and very clean. The site is very quiet but has few pitches for short-term campers. So be sure to call in advance. Lidl in the village, easily accessible by bike. There is a playground and a skating rink for children. You can go on various cycle tours from here.

Nice inexpensive place
Permanent campers, although they are very nice and I have no problem with them. The only thing is that short-term campers don't have a clear view of the lake. The lake has crystal clear water and a beautiful sandy beach. Showers for 5 minutes and €0.20 are rather rare. Electricity costs only €0.50 for 1.3kw. We don't have to watch the pennies, but we like the place.

Absolutely no night's sleep
Lake very nice, citizens delicious. Unfortunately no rest, as the night's rest was not observed. After a super loud rock concert, people sang loudly until midnight, dismantled, shouted, started cars... VERY EXHAUSTING - ESPECIALLY WITH A CHILD.

Beautiful CP with a great restaurant
We've been going camping with friends for a long weekend for several years now. We like it very much at Hardtsee, great water quality, beautiful grounds. The only thing to criticize is the lack of shade for tents. The new restaurant is excellent with very tasty burgers. They are worth the money, keep it up.

Reception times unknown and apparently very limited. Spontaneous arrival therefore difficult.
Reasonably priced CP on the lake.
Inexpensive community campsite on a lake with a sandy beach that is mainly used by permanent campers. The campsite is conveniently located to the highway, so we spontaneously drove to the site at around 4:30 pm as we were passing through. Unfortunately, the reception was unmanned, but the landlord of... the local restaurant was kind enough to let us through the barrier and informed the groundsman of our arrival by telephone. Now we were on the site, but had no access data for the barrier and unfortunately couldn't leave the site by car without bothering the landlord again. This is all a bit inconvenient for an overnight stay and so I would recommend calling ahead to announce your arrival. The tourist pitches seemed very small to me when all the pitches were occupied. However, there were a lot of free pitches so there was plenty of space. The electricity columns are charged with 50 cent pieces (1.3 kWh - 50 cent) and you need 20 cent pieces for the showers (for 5 minutes). So be sure to take small change with you. The wash house is really nice and was very clean. The shower cubicles also had a washbasin and a power socket, all very practical. Unfortunately it is not very quiet due to the nearby main road, but otherwise a recommendable place for a shorter stay. The price/performance ratio was very good in our case. We paid €19.50 with a teenager plus electricity and showers. I think that's a very fair price.

Large, spacious site on a great quarry pond with a sandy beach. Access to the pitches is very spacious. Shopping center 500 m away.

Top lake, short distances to the sanitary facilities

Restaurant unfriendly staff, food does not taste good,
great for swimming
The lake is just great. The restaurant got a grade 6 from me, unfriendly staff, sometimes you have to wait at least 30 minutes for a waitress to come. Then the sausages and chips had been standing in the blazing sun for several hours without being cooled. So the restaurant is NOT to be recommended. The rest is great.

Another positive transfer site surprise. Pitches right by the beautiful bathing lake, uncomplicated, quick registration and a really good restaurant. Impeccable. Bread rolls in the neighboring village can be reached by car in 5 minutes. You can do it again.

We were there in mid-September. First of all, a big compliment to the manager of the campsite restaurant, who made us feel very comfortable!!! The staff at reception were super friendly, you have perfect shopping facilities (REWE and LIDL can be reached within 10 minutes at most), and cleanliness was... also taken care of by the super friendly groundsman. Even in September you could still swim in the directly adjacent lake (it only took a minute, if that, to get there). As we were there out of season, we were the only ones with a tent - the rest were all permanent campers. No children screaming, the only source of noise was the main road not far away... but it was bearable. We will probably camp there again this year.

we had a good pitch and great weather. the toilets and shower area were always clean. i can recommend the site and lake with a grade of 1. we will be camping at hardtsee again.
