The sanitary facilities are getting on in years but always clean!
But it's also down to the campers!!! Everyone is considerate and friendly!
The catering on site... is good and sufficient, the restaurant offers a variety of dishes that are very good for the Scottish price-performance ratio!
Pitches are generously laid out. The site is very well divided into several areas for caravans / WOMO and tents.
There is also a small store for the essentials and a small stand for breakfast (English/Scottish).
We will definitely visit this site again due to the location and the fact that dogs are also very welcome there. Several hikes start directly at the site or lead past it.
Friendly and well-organized reception. The pitches are spacious and very well maintained. Washrooms and toilets are sometimes a little away from the pitches, but very clean and always available without waiting.

Manfred v.August 2022PozitīviThe site is located at the foot of Glen Nevis and is the ideal starting point for outgoing. hiking and mountain biking activities. The area is also ideal for walking. Access to the site is easy. The paths are wide and stress-free for larger caravans and mobile homes. and mobile vehicles. The site makes a functional and clean impression. The snack bar opens at 5 pm and a small supermarket stocks the essentials. The pitches are mostly level and for the most part, as is usual in England, hard pitches. The site is divided into regions with their own disposal points for waste and chemical toilets.NegatīvaisThe site is large and has around 250 pitches, plus tents and camping spots. However, the facilities are quite small, e.g. 6 showers for the men. The frequency on the site is quite high. Most guests stay a maximum of 3 days and then travel on. Accordingly, there is no camping feeling. The site is more of a base camp for hikers and climbers. You can see that in the morning when hordes of enthusiasts in professional equipment disappear into the mountains.Functional space in a beautiful landscapeGlen Nevis Camping is certainly worth a stop, if only for the scenery and the fantastic mountains.
As a non-alpinist, a longer stopover requires stamina. The site is more like
more like a larger and better place to spend the night. The sanitary facilities have their age but are
clean as far as possible,... even if the quality is declining due to the small number.
The neighboring town, Fort William, is nice but very touristy.
Incidentally, the region is heavily frequented by tourists. A reservation is strongly recommended.

There is electricity and water for caravans, plenty of space for tents and garbage cans to rent. The price is slightly above average. The sanitary facilities are very good and very clean. But it's not the place's fault that you can be unlucky in Scotland. It's certainly a great hiking area, and not just because of Ben Nevis - unfortunately we didn't see any of it. The site is of a great standard, the sanitary facilities are solid... and clean, the pitches are very spacious, laid out like a park and very well maintained. Unfortunately, in the weather conditions we encountered, the path to the toilet block is full of water. The reception is more professional than friendly due to the plastic size. Everything is clean, and for couples is ideal. The only problem that we found was the shop. A part from that is great.

The site is beautifully situated at the foot of Ben Nevis. We arrived on Sunday from Bankholiday and despite being very busy we were able to choose a pitch. Friendly staff, quick check-in, the pitches are parceled out, large and... partly hardstanding, with water/waste water on request, 16 A electricity. Large, separate meadow for tents. The site is well maintained, sanit. Facilities always clean despite many guests, very good washing facilities (washing machine + dryer). ideal for hiking, mountain bikers. Gondola station to Ben Navis approx. 10 KM, as biker slopes. To the camp. Restaurant 5 min. on foot, good food To Fort Williams approx. 5 KM. If you arrive early, you can choose your own pitch. Then you have the chance to get a very nice pitch, e.g. under trees. Otherwise very structured and functional. Large area for tents. Price for motorhome + electric + 2 adults + 2 children of just under 30 GBP is ok. Sanitary... facilities are good and reasonably clean. The store has everything you need. No infrastructure for children except a large meadow. The site is ideal for hiking on the Ben Navis. Otherwise too remote to walk to Fort William.Automātiski tulkots.

The staff at reception are very friendly, there is a small store on site and a restaurant nearby. For breakfast there is a snack cart that sells bread rolls with eggs or bacon. Jan S.July 2010Beautifully situated in Glen Nevis with a view of Scotland's highest mountain and the associated mountain range. This makes the site an ideal starting point for climbing the mountain as well as for other excursions into the Highlands. The River Nevis right next to it offers anglers the chance to indulge... in their hobby, while further up the valley hikers and climbers will find plenty of opportunities. The site itself is huge and divided into many smaller ones, each with its own name. However, it is not allowed to drive up to the tent by car on every pitch. Most of the areas are flat and often have trees and bushes. You will find dining sets everywhere which you can carry to your tent - provided it is not the vacation season and everything is already occupied. The sanitary facilities are all in top condition, there are fully equipped washrooms and kitchens. The small supermarket at the reception has everything you need - a little more expensive than in the city, of course. There is a snack van that offers hot snacks daily from 8.00 am to 9.00 pm and a restaurant with bar 10 minutes walk away. Buses to Fort Williams stop right in front of the entrance - it's an easy 45-minute walk to the city center.Automātiski tulkots.
