- GJ M.jūnijs 2023PozitīviGreat views, excellent plumbing, very friendly owners (Anja and Jan, no Ned.), great supermarket on site, great common area with multiple gas cooking areas, ovens, microwaves, dishwashing areas and seating for eating, nice pool, <10minutes walk to beach, play facilities for kids.NegatīvaisFor water end of walk, shower tokens, no village center, only 2 restaurants and an ice cream parlor.HrTerraced campground with stunning views of inland sea next to the Little Belt. Very friendly owners (married couple). Sanitary building and communal kitchen are well maintained. That communal kitchen was really a surprise, we do not know in the Netherlands, multiple gas hobs, ovens and microwaves to... prepare meals. You can also eat the meal on site and wash everything again. Environment is beautiful but not much to do. Great for cycling.
In the week we were there, there was also (on the lower field) a school group sports training (16-17yrs) for three nights at school camp. Cozy, not bothered at all.
For us a very pleasant first acquaintance with Denmark.
The rates were considerably higher than mentioned on this website. We paid €43.20 per night for caravan, car and 2 adults (dog free).Automātiski tulkots. - Peter R.augusts 2019Pozitīvibeautiful location, TOP sanitaryGood addressWe were just passing through this campsite at the beginning of August. The location is very nice, just above the village, which lies between an inland sea and the open sea. After a short walk (a few minutes) you reach a beautiful sandy beach at the end of which is a small marina. There are also a few... restaurants on the shore road, but that's all there is. The site has many permanent campers, is on a slope with terraces, is easy to drive on, has sufficiently large pitches and very good and clean sanitary facilities; there is also a communal kitchen, dining room and barbecue area; small shopping facilities are available, staff are very friendly, in short: recommendable, we will be back!Automātiski tulkots.
- R. D.maijs 2018PozitīviGREAT VIEW VERY FRIENDLY AND WARM CLEANLINESSNegatīvaisCoin-operated showersQuiet place in a wonderful locationThe site has a wonderful location with a view of the water. The reception was very nice and helpful. There is a small market where you can get snacks and bread/rolls. The pitches are numbered and large enough. You can use a communal kitchen. You need small change to shower. There is a pool, which was well received by the children.Automātiski tulkots.
- Thomas S.aprīlis 2015PozitīviClean place in a beautiful location with a very friendly operator.Beautiful campsite above Hejls NorThe campsite in Hejlsminde is located above the town and therefore above the Baltic Sea and Hejls Nor, a shallow coastal lagoon. The site is situated on a slope and is partly artificially terraced, so that you have a view of the water from almost every pitch. Around 50% of the pitches are occupied by... Danish permanent campers, but this is not necessarily noticeable at first glance, as Danish permanent campers are not as inclined to "build castles" as their German counterparts. The sanitary facilities are in a large building near the main entrance. Although they are showing signs of wear and tear, they are in impeccable hygienic condition. Even in the low season, the sanitary facilities were cleaned at least twice a day. In addition to individual wash and shower cubicles, there are family cubicles with shower, washbasin and WC. There is also a brand new and modern children's washroom. There are toilets, showers and washbasins in mini format, a bathtub at worktop height and a shower on a platform so that the little ones can shower off without straining their backs. A large communal kitchen is located directly next to the sanitary facilities. It is very spacious. There are ovens, gas hobs, microwaves and sinks. There is also seating for eating meals right there. In the outdoor area directly in front of the communal kitchen there are also washing-up facilities and a barbecue area that can be used by anyone. There is a heated swimming pool on the site, which can be used in May. The campsite has a large playground with everything your heart desires. Our children were particularly happy about this. There is a modern mini golf course directly opposite the reception, which is also popular with non-campers. There is a small store next to reception where you can buy the usual everyday goods, including freshly baked goods. The prices are absolutely fair and correspond to those in a normal Danish supermarket. The store is also used by people from Hejlsminde, as there are no other shopping facilities there. The site manager is very friendly and courteous. The site is in very good condition. The atmosphere was very pleasant. There are interesting offers for the low season, which make an inexpensive stay possible. Even in the high season, the prices for the pitch are absolutely ok. The site is located on the outskirts of Hejlsminde. The Baltic Sea beach is a 5-minute walk away. In the village itself there is a small harbor, a snack bar, a hotel and a café. Directly below the site runs a former railroad line that connected Hejlsminde to the hinterland via Hejls. This route runs along Hejls Nor and invites you to take a walk directly from the campsite. It is just 2.5 km to Hejls, where it is worth taking a look at the old church. If you follow the well-signposted hiking trail, you can walk or cycle around Hejls Nor. The route is 12 km long and leads for around 1.3 km over a wooden walkway that bridges a marsh. Leaflets with further tour suggestions, compiled by the campsite operator, can be purchased at reception for DKR 2. Excursions to Christiansfeld, where there is a historic town center well worth seeing, as well as to Haderslev and Kolding are worthwhile. Legoland in Billund is also within easy reach. A day trip to Vejle is also always worthwhile. With a bit of luck, you can watch whales in the Little Belt.Automātiski tulkots.
