On our 4-week trip from the North Cape along the Norwegian coast, this was the first campsite that really deserved the name.
The reception was friendly and competent, the pitches large and all equipped with water and electricity, the sanitary building is fairly new and very clean.

Nevertheless: Large pitches, satellite reception possible (few trees), directly on the river with bathing facilities, modern sanitary building with family cabins, showers without paying, well-kept site, very nice playground, road audible but not disturbing. Andreas S.September 2017PozitīviBest sanitary facilitiesOn a small island on the DrammenselvaA huge site by Norwegian standards with 285 pitches (according to their own information), an estimated third of which are reserved for permanent campers. Friendly reception in English and free choice of pitch. The level ground consists of gravel or grass or half/half. Some of the pitches are fenced off... with low conifer hedges. Electricity posts with water taps are located approximately every 20m. There is a meadow for tents only, with a nearby recreation room. This year a new wash house was completed, which is one of the best I have ever seen on European campsites. (see photos) Partly complete bathrooms with WC, disabled toilets and a solarium (11 NOK/3min). Access to the wash house only with key card. There is a tire inflation system at a service station. In mid-September we paid NOK 330 for a motorhome with electricity and two people. Good WLAN and showers are included in the price. You can fish for salmon in the Drammenselva, subject to various regulations. But we were extremely pleasantly surprised: The entire site is parceled out with fir hedges. All the pitches are neatly gravelled and you can still get the pegs into the ground easily. At the moment there are 2 rather old... but well-maintained wash houses. There is also a really clean washing container. A huge, stylish wash house is currently under construction. The staff are friendly and shopping facilities (coop and Rimi) are a 5-minute walk away. I can only recommend the pitch! Oh yes: showers are included! (3Pers: 33Kr/night)Automātiski tulkots.

Sanitary facilities outdated.Tourist rip-off but still friendlyThis very large site was our destination for the night. And we found ourselves in the "lower tiers", to the right of the garbage containers. The sanitary facilities are third class, the washroom/kitchen completely undersized. I wouldn't want to be on this pitch if there were more than 10 caravans or mobile homes. We left quickly. The price was outrageous at more than 40 EUR for one night with caravan, 2 people and 1 dog as well as electricity.Automātiski tulkots.

We think it's good that renovations and conversions are being carried out, but it's incomprehensible when these noisy roadworks are carried out until well after 11pm, as it's impossible to relax and sleep. The gravelled site is reminiscent of a lovelessly designed parking lot. The sanitary facilities are too small for the size of the pitch. The showers smell musty.Automātiski tulkots.

We were only there for 1 night with the motorhome and had the bad luck that two couples sitting outside nearby had to listen to Norwegian hits until 3 o'clock in the morning.Automātiski tulkots.
