- Gerhard F.August 2015PozitīviProximity to DisneylandNegatīvaisI am not aware of anyOur starting point for Disneyland ParisSince we had booked via the Internet, there were some difficulties on our arrival.....but the managers Severin and Claire then had everything done to the fullest satisfaction (thank you)......we had chosen this camp because of the proximity to Disneyland (we were actually only there to stay overnight... (bungalow)).....but also used the local restaurant We were there with 2 children and we can highly recommend this camp.......but please check better 2x when booking online and ask at the camp if everything worked out ;-)Automātiski tulkots.
- Björn H.June 2015Pozitīviconvenient, great base for Disneyland or ParisNegatīvaisPool and facilities only averageSimple place that scores with its locationWe spent a week at the campsite over Whitsun, which we chose because of its location/proximity to Disneyland. The pool is not particularly large and was already overcrowded at Whitsun. The playground and pool are nothing special. The sanitary facilities were clean, but the lady who was responsible for... the cleanliness was the "bummer". If you enter a clean shower, she "grumbles" in French when you leave - even if it is left clean. The guests were regularly snapped at from the side when using it. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Top location! Use it as a base for Disneyland or Paris - not as a resort. The price is very reasonable.Automātiski tulkots.
- Michael B.April 2015PozitīviClose to Disneyland, good base for ParisNegatīvaisPool not yet usable, hairdryers not working, no hot waterGood place for Disneyland and ParisWe spent the first week of Easter at the campsite. We chose this campsite because of its proximity to Disneyland and the train connection to Gare de l'Est/Paris (train station right in front of the campsite). The staff were very friendly and nice. The children had been looking forward to the indoor and... outdoor swimming pools, but unfortunately they were out of order all week! We had a pitch on a slope, which was much drier than the pitches below due to the rainy weather. Overall, the site is dominated by mobile homes. The sanitary facilities were very clean and were thoroughly cleaned. The water was not hot, but warm - at least in the showers. Unfortunately, the installed hairdryers did not work. Toilet paper was available in large dispensers in front of the toilets. As the campsite only opened on the day we arrived, the staff spent the whole week tidying up and cleaning - despite the stormy and rainy weather. Day passes for the regional train, which are also valid for the metro and buses, can be purchased at reception. The connections are good and much better than traveling to Paris and back by car during the week. The site is only a few kilometers from the freeway and can therefore also be used as a place to stay overnight, but in the high season it is essential to make a reservation as there are only a few pitches available.Automātiski tulkots.
- Stefanie Z.July 2013We stayed in one of the larger tents for a week at the end of July to the beginning of August 2013. The tent is great, not completely clean, but sufficient. The space around the tent was large enough, although other tent tenants had smaller pitches. The campsite is naturally quite busy at this time of... year and therefore not quiet, but the main users are Dutch families with small children, so it is really quiet from 11pm onwards. The sanitary facilities are inadequate, not clean, not equipped (few garbage cans, no paper, no toilet seats, hardly any coat hooks, etc.) and the showers are cold. We had reasonably warm water once during the seven days. Complaints are met with a shrug of the shoulders: "That's just the way it is!" At the pool bar, German guests are served last or sometimes not at all. The staff are open to Dutch people, but consistently ignore other nationalities.Automātiski tulkots.
- Thomas R.May 2013Friendly, helpful, sometimes German-speaking reception. There was always an open ear for questions. Despite the dirty weather, the sanitary facilities were always clean. There was no toilet paper, no soap dispenser or anything similar. It takes a while for the water to get warm, water pressure is also... too low, you need about 3 times as long as at home to shower. Good little grocery store, baguette 1 euro, croissant 1.10 euro. Only the bottom row of the site is recommended for caravans, there are also a few pitches on a slope. The site is dominated by mobile homes and rental tents (we had one this time) which are well equipped. Swimming pool was not heated on the day of our arrival (19.05.13), although according to the Vacansoleil catalog from 22.03.-27.10. heated is indicated. We were not in the pool after the cold shock and the bad weather of the next days, so we do not know if the pool was heated afterwards. There is a "take away" area in the restaurant where we got delicious pizzas without having to wait long. Disneyland Paris is 20 minutes away by car, tickets can be bought at the reception of the campsite, once less queuing at Mickey Mouse. The Pommeuse train station is right in front of the campsite. Direct connection to Gare de lEst in Paris, from there continue by metro or take the Hop on Hop off sightseeing bus opposite the station. Train tickets (also valid for the metro and public buses in Paris) are available at the campsite reception. If you want multi-day tickets, buy them at the station as they are not available at reception. If the weather is bad, we recommend the Sealife in the CentroCommercial (shopping center), which is integrated into the Disney area, especially with children. A highly recommended place for a trip to Paris and Disneyland.Automātiski tulkots.
- Pawel A.August 2010I spent 2 nights there, the dirty showers are conspicuous, in the evening there was wading in dirty water, no paper in the toilets, the campground is very densely populated, there is nowhere to move. The place is suitable only for trips to Disney Land or Paris.Automātiski tulkots.
- Sonja B.July 2010The destination of our trip was Disneyland, Paris and the surrounding area. Many of the reviews we had read were completely untrustworthy. We booked the site knowing that it was a campsite and not a luxury star hotel or a beach vacation. The reception and departure were extremely friendly and uncomplicated.... As we are not campers (so I can't rate the sanitary facilities), we had a mobile home. At our request, this was in a quiet location, had a nice terrace and was functionally furnished (a little short on pots) and relatively clean. I mean relatively, everyone who leaves and doesn't pay for final cleaning leaves it to their successor as they cleaned it. But I clean and disinfect anyway! What is very important is heating and air conditioning. Everyone had their own parking space in front of the house and a piece of meadow, but each tent also had enough distance from the others, with a parking space and a piece of meadow. And if it rains, tents get soaked. The camping store was set up like a campsite and not that expensive. I think €1.30 for a baguette is OK. With a GPS you can also find the nearest supermarket and the prices are the same as here, only the quality of the meat is much better. The pool area was cute, but we hadn't planned a beach vacation. It's a 20-minute drive to Disneyland, the parking lot costs €15, which is outrageous, otherwise Disney is just Disney, I wouldn't recommend it for young people. The train stops below the square and you can be in Paris in 50 minutes. Take a city map with you and learn how to explore Paris on foot and then take the city tour with audio guide at Notre Dame. Super! All in all, we had a wonderful 8-day vacation. Highly recommended for families with children up to 13 years or a couple. But please don't forget: It's camping.Automātiski tulkots.
