The location is fantastic, with a direct view of the water from many pitches. The site is a bit secluded, but it was very quiet. The store on the site was closed in the low season, the nearest supermarket is about 5 km away and easy to reach by bike. Great location, very nice views of the sea from many pitches. However, many pitches are uneven because the site is natural.
The staff are friendly and competent. The cleaning team does a great job. The sanitary facilities were always clean... even though the campsite was fully booked due to "Midsommar". The kitchen is newly renovated, offers new appliances (stove, oven, microwave) Many dishwashing places inside and outside. Somewhat long approach on a wide access road.
Price level is quite high.

In the low season - we stayed here for two nights at the end of September - the peace and quiet and the location with a view of the water are vacation enough. The operators were very friendly. The pitches are large enough and are mainly located in a sparse pine forest, which offers the right balance between shade and sun. The sanitary buildings are relatively new and have always been very clean. Access to the sanitary facilities... is by card, which is also required for showering (5 crowns for 4 minutes). Our children (aged 8 and 11) liked the football pitch, the volleyball court and the large air trampoline. There is a bathing area with a small sandy beach. The campsite's own kiosk stocks a small basic range of products, and the nearest supermarket is about 5 km away. Kalmar is 18 km away by bike. Swimming, hiking and fishing are all possible from the campsite. A small store offers the most important things, price-performance ratio was right. The sanitary facilities were ok. If you want to go out in Kalmar in... the evening, you are at a disadvantage with a camper van. The campsite near the town is more suitable. One of the most beautiful places on our tour of SwedenThe site is idyllically and quietly situated on a peninsula in the Baltic Sea. The location and views from the pitches are a dream. Check in was very friendly and we were able to choose one of the pitches allocated to us. We were there at the end of June after midsummer with 2 kids and dog, at this time... the place was about 70% full. There is a small store and snack bar in reception with seating inside and outside as well as boat and bike hire. We had a very spacious pitch with an unobstructed view of the meadow, the Baltic Sea and the Öland Bridge, simply fantastic. WiFi in the extra area at the sanitary facilities and sinks was free. The sanitary facilities were unisex, very good, new and super clean. Next to the sanitary building you can wash up inside and outside, with a view of the Baltic Sea...wonderful. There is also a super well-equipped kitchen with everything you need, including pans, pots etc. Right next door you sit in the cozy lounge. There is also a washing machine and dryer. The beach is great with bathing jetties, slides, water play cushions, playground on the beach, sun loungers. Also on the beach is the beautiful wood-fired sauna which you can rent for 100 SSK per hour and this is then already heated up, during the sauna you simply add wood yourself and enjoy the view of the water into which you can then jump directly. There is also a small playground, football pitch and giant bouncy cushion. At the end of the peninsula is the fenced-off dog run, where you can also fish from land. Otherwise from the boat. Beautiful excursion destinations nearby are Kalmar with its castle or Öland. The operators live directly on site and have everything under control and are very committed. The small supermarket offers the essentials but you can get by just fine. Fishing boats are available to hire. Kalmar is also a beautiful place, but not within walking distance. The pitches are large... enough and almost all are close to the water. However, mosquitoes were an issue for us... A site that we can recommend without reservation for those seeking peace and quiet! Incidentally, even our almost 18-year-old son wasn't bored thanks to the fishing activities. We got a very nice pitch with a view of the Öland Bridge. The pitch had an electricity connection and the water pump was not far away. The wash houses are wonderfully central and are very clean and well maintained. The clientele is mixed and the permanent... campers are pleasantly spread out. The site's own kiosk offers a wide range of products and you can even get a decent pizza right on site. A welcome alternative given the prices in Sweden. And even when I once told the owner in conversation that I was looking for SuRströmming, he tried various dealers on the phone to fulfill my wish. It doesn't get any better in this discipline. If you want to discover Kalmar and Öland, this campsite is the place to be! Be sure to book in advance and pitches 42-48 are a dream!!!Automātiski tulkots.

The campsite is run with a lot of love and passion. The leisure activities are varied. You can hire kayaks and stand-up boards on site. Fishing is free of charge. The children's playground has everything the little ones need....including... a bouncy castle. You can buy the most important things in the small store at reception. Toilets and showers work with a chip card and are unisex. Everything is very clean and well maintained. Incidentally, we found the first scullery with a sea view here!Automātiski tulkots.

No pitches! A seating area between the buildings is the WIFI communication zone... Free of charge and therefore always well frequented. The sanitary facilities take some getting used to (unisex). Even in the toilets,... both sexes use the cubicles. We don't find this so unusual in the shower cubicles, we know this from other campsites. The dog beach is separated by a fence. The surroundings are great, you can do a lot without a car. The cycle paths are in excellent condition and very well signposted. We have seen dogs in the lake but not seals :-) ! To the left of the road to a small bay with small islands and lots of birds. The right side with a view of the Öland Bridge. Our pitch was on the left-hand side in a pine forest with lots of bushes and reeds. Very beautiful. The sun shines through... the trees and there is plenty of shade. The ground is forest floor with lots of roots and pine cones. The pitches here are naturally parceled out by the trees. It is therefore essential to specify the required size when booking. The pitches on the left-hand side were a little quieter. There are benches at the small harbor of the campsite and near the campsite. Great for a coffee in the morning or to enjoy the sunset in the evening. The sanitary buildings are "unisex". Two are right next to each other. There were probably also small buildings elsewhere on the site. But we didn't try them out. The campsite was fully booked. Occasionally a short wait was necessary. We simply got up earlier. Access to the sanitary facilities was by card only. This card was also the shower card. 5 crowns for 5 minutes. The campsite could try to reprogram the cards and charge them according to time. Interruptions should also be possible. This would save water! Next to the sanitary building is a building with a kitchen, reading room, dishwashing room, washing machine etc. The seating area between the buildings is the WIFI communication zone... Free of charge and therefore always well frequented. There is a large beach, kayaks and bikes for hire. There is also a sauna. There are friendly staff at reception, small items can be bought and children have even been given a few crowns for collecting pine cones. The nearest ICA is about 5 km away, Kalmar is 15 km away by car or bike. We cycled a lot and discovered small bays. We went to Öland twice by car. We were able to watch seals in the south of the island. A highly recommended campsite.Automātiski tulkots.
