We liked the place very much. Not overcrowded, romantic, some children, very friendly operators, in the middle of nature, dog-friendly and the ideal place to relax from stressful everyday life. The church bells mentioned in other... reviews didn't bother us at all. You can't do any bulk shopping at the campsite, but there is a bakery and a small store next to the campsite. Unfortunately there is no possibility to go out for a stroll/dinner in the evening, but we had our car. The only downside for us was the sea. We are used to blue water and snorkeling opportunities from many trips to Croatia. There is no "open" sea there and the water depth ranges from ankle-deep to knee-high and if you want to swim properly, you have to walk a bit. The seabed at the camp beach is very marshy with lots of greenery. But I think it's ideal for small children or non-swimmers. Unfortunately, there were also a lot of mosquitoes there, but the campsite operator can't influence that. All in all, a wonderful place if you want to take a break.Automātiski tulkots.

The operator is very nice. The sanitary facilities are clean and the pitches are spacious. The showers take some getting used to. There is nowhere to put your things in the shower cubicle without them getting wet. You therefore... have to undress in the corridor in front of the cubicle. However, the corridor is visible from the outside ;-) The small saltwater inland lake is a bit dirty. It is suitable for swimming, but it is not a highlight. There are few good places to eat in the surrounding area. The journey to the campsite by caravan is feasible but involves a winding road. You should drive carefully and slowly.Automātiski tulkots.
Andreas K.August 2018PozitīviQuiet, clean place, very welcome, security by security service, free showersNegatīvaisMany mosquitoes in the evening, no bread service20 days August/SeptemberThe place is very quiet.is run by two brothers, Eugen + Ilja.all very friendly.showers without splash wall and constantly you have to press the button so that the water runs.but always warm water.the front plots are quite uneven and have no sewage connection.therefore always take a drive-up wedge.at... night the place is guarded by a security guard (Ivica).There is no direct food supply on the site, but right next door is a mini grocery store and a small bakery, otherwise you drive over the small bridge to the neighboring village, where there is also a bit more going on. the dog mentioned by other campers was abandoned here by strangers and the operators have given him a new home. We have 2 dogs ourselves and can say with a clear conscience that the dog is doing very well here. The bells from the monastery don't bother us in the slightest, they are simply part of the idyllic setting and apparently only 3 monks live in the monastery. To swim you have to go a little further into the water, because otherwise it is only about knee to waist high.in the morning there were often figs on our camping table, which are distributed to the guests by the site operator.to summarize: We liked it very much and will definitely be back. P.S.: The site is fenced in and only has access to the water. Privately owned. Eugen and his brother take great care of the guests. Secluded stretches of beach within walking distance. Very nice ambience overall. Small bars and shops nearby. Not yet fully developed for tourism. More of a vacation resort for locals.... Nature parks and beautiful towns such as Zadar are within easy reach. Currently only about 20% occupancy, as it only opened last year. A small vacation idyll in a small village. We liked it very much and would love to come back!Automātiski tulkots.

Fantastic location, beautiful site, designed with love. Clean sanitary building, as well as the entire site, very clean and well-kept. There is a small store nearby where you can buy the essentials. The campsite is a place to... slow down. If you want to experience something, you have to walk/drive about 3 km. You can get any help, support or tips from the owners. Kamp Karin is only three years old and therefore still an insider tip. It would be nice for us if it stayed that way. But the owners deserve that many people feel at home there. We had a great rest here and did a lot in the surrounding area (winnetou museum in starigrad paclenica, krk waterfalls, zadar and more). everything you need for daily life is within reach.... We didn't find the noise of the monastery disturbing, after a few days we didn't hear it anymore. I saw the dog twice in 10 days but never heard it. The sanitary facilities were always clean and the people were all friendly and helpful. We will go there again next year because there is still so much to see in Dalmatia. The place is separated from the road by a metal fence, behind it is a church that is constantly ringing loudly. On Sundays there is a lot of activity and noise (car traffic, singing... in the church - many people) The entire beach is also separated by a fence. The owner family apparently lives on the campsite with some children and animals. Unfortunately, especially the family dog is not taken care of, he sits all day and also at night on a leash in front of the house or the reception. Since no attention is paid to this poor animal, it barks around all day and is yelled at in return. We had our own dog with us and we were very sorry about this situation.Automātiski tulkots.

Unfortunately, there was not much shade as the trees were still very small. The natural mud baths nearby are great. Really an experience for young and old. The pitch was rather empty in mid-August, which is probably because the tourist... destinations are all a bit further away. But no mass tourism. Well, the church bells don't ring at night, but they do early in the morning. That can be annoying. The owner is very nice, invited us for a glass of wine in the evening and is open to any questions. Not only did we find this at Kamp Karin, we also met two brothers who fulfilled their job with all their heart. Kamp Karin is a really good place if you want to visit: Plivitce, Krka, the Island of Pag, Zadar, Benkovac, Biograd na Moru... and Kornati or go kayaking on the Zarmanja River. It's a pleasure to use the sanitary services because it's all new and tidy. The two brothers are always at your service. They even gave us some fresh tomatoes and figs that we could use for our barbecue (they cultivate them at home). Even when you choose to stay on the camping, you can take a swim in the nearby lake. The bakery serves really nice things and the saleswoman is very friendly. Kamp Karin is a wonderful place to stay to discover Croatia. We’re camping already for more than 20 years and I can say that this is the best place I ever discovered. Quiet, beautifully situated on a lake with beautiful views. Very friendly and pleasant owners, standing always ready for their... guests. Very clean and well kept campsite. Due to the young plantings of trees there is still not much shade, but that will become fine in the future. Definitely recommended if you want to find peace and quiet and well situated to visit the area. We have at least found what we have been looking for several years. A place to completely de-stress and be able to get new energy for the rest of the year. We are going back next summer, for sure. ------- Vorige zomer juli 2017, een prachtige vakantie doorgebracht met de tent. Wij kamperen al meer dan 20 jaar en ik kan zeggen dat dit de beste plek is die ik ooit tegenkwam. Rustig, prachtig gelegen aan een meer met prachtig uitzicht. Zeer vriendelijke en aangename uitbaters, staan altijd klaar voor hun gasten. Zeer netjes en verzorgde camping. Door de jonge aanplantingen van bomen nog wat weinig schaduw aanwezig, maar dat komt goed. Zeker een aanrader als je de rust en stilte wilt opzoeken en goed gelegen om de omgeving te bezoeken. Wij hebben er in elk geval gevonden waar we al jaren naar op zoek waren. Een plek om helemaal te ontstressen en er weer een jaar tegen aan te kunnen.
