There is a dog beach for dog owners and, with a bit of luck, you can get a pitch right by the water and dog beach. Lots of trees provide plenty of shade in midsummer! An absolute highlight for children and adults alike are the mini pigs and goats that can be cuddled and fed.NegatīvaisLittle to no grass, but completely normal in the dry season and certainly no reason not to come back.Pure relaxationIt was a wonderful, relaxing weekend. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy. The campsite too! The location is just perfect and just right if you need a break. The site owners are friendly and accommodating. Prices have increased significantly since the change of operator without any improvement in infrastructure.Camping close to natureThe campsite is idyllically situated in a pine forest on a beautiful lake. The infrastructure is clearly getting on in years. As the old wash house is not sufficient in the summer, a container wash house has been open from time to time since last year. You need to buy shower tokens at reception to shower... ... unfortunately the tone of the new operator is often very harsh. The prices have been increased considerably. "There is a special flair here at the campsite." That's how some campers have described it, and I can only agree.
The family-run campsite particularly appealed to us because of its unique location. It is located in a small wood and yet has its own bathing beaches. Here, children,... families, naturists and dog lovers can all enjoy their own access to the water.
Pitch layout The campsite is partly occupied by permanent campers, but there are also beautiful, large pitches available for holidaymakers. The small lanes are dead ends, so no through traffic is to be expected. A playground and a petting zoo with cute little pigs and goats offer children a welcome change from water sports.
Sanitary facilities A massive sanitary building offers everything we need as campers: Showers with coins, washrooms, toilets, washing machine, dryer and toilet sinks. The facilities made a bright and friendly impression and were clean at all times. An additional toilet block is available during cleaning times or when the campsite is full. Particularly noteworthy are the sufficient shelves, benches, hooks and the provision of soap and toilet paper - unfortunately no longer a matter of course.
Food and drink Fresh bread rolls are available at the registration desk by prior arrangement. We were also able to buy the odd ice cream there. Sometimes we would have liked a small snack so that the children could buy a few chips, sausages or nuggets between swimming.
Leisure There is a small island in the middle of the lake with a recommended restaurant. There is a lot to discover in the surrounding area, such as Ritter Kalebutz, Wusterhausen, Kyritz or a little further away Wittstock, Rheinsberg, Mirow and the Slavic village in Neustrelitz.

We received a very friendly welcome and all questions and special requests were answered in the best possible way. Great pitches in the middle of the forest with a nice mix of permanent campers and tourists. Nice little playground with a funny, well, let's call it a petting zoo. Bathing lake right on the border with sandy beach, boat rental with kayaks SUPs rowing boats and much more...NegatīvaisNow comes complaining at the highest level, the washing machine and dryer are quite expensive at 5 euros per wash, the store could be a bit bigger or offer a wider range, sanitary facilities could be renewed, these are clean and well maintained!The almost perfect campsiteWe had a wonderful family vacation and felt incredibly comfortable here. the actually good impression of the site is severely spoiled by the operator's pricing policy

But older campers will also find a suitable quiet spot.
Although there is no restaurant on the site, there are several within a 10 to 15 minute walk.
The staff are always friendly and helpful and... the prices are reasonable. There is no prepayment and no cancellation fees, as some campsites already do. This tends to put campers off because it significantly restricts the freedom and independence typical of camping. After all, camping is more dependent on the weather than other vacations.
The small, cozy, secluded naturist section with its own stretch of beach, which was about half occupied by permanent campers and half by holidaymakers, was nice. However, it would benefit from a more usable toilet and its own simple, shared sanitary building. The paths to the central sanitary building are a little too long from there.
The lockable gate to the beach was an advantage, which prevented through traffic through the naturist area.
We felt very comfortable, also due to the wonderful weather.
One fly in the ointment were some dog owners who once again did not want to comply with the obligation to keep dogs on a lead and the ban on dogs bathing on the beach and demanded more tolerance with regard to these regulations.
But on a site with lots of small children
But the obligation to keep dogs on a lead is non-negotiable on a site with lots of small children, and this also applies to dog bathing on the beach, especially as there is an extra dog beach 300m away. It's not to everyone's taste to bathe with dogs in the same water, and it's not hygienic either.
This has nothing to do with tolerance, but with the special wishes of individuals at the expense of the majority - the "extra sausage" principle!
The campsite management rightly did not play along and put these people in their place. Thank you!
