We first had to get a Euro plug so that we had electricity. It was sold out almost everywhere in the high season, so bring your own. The sanitary facilities were very small and not separated by gender. One shower was totally filthy and covered in cobwebs. Probably hadn't been cleaned for weeks. The others were ok. Staff very nice. There is a canoe rental on site. The lady only spoke French. The campsite is ideally located for an Ardeche canoe trip. The canoe rental is right on the campsite. We were given friendly instructions in English. The campsite was not very full at the time. Accordingly,... the sanitary facilities were clean, but a bit outdated. The water at the sinks was only lukewarm. The people at reception were always very nice and helpful. Our child loved the swimming pool. It was always clean and not overcrowded. We can't say what it's like when the place is fully booked.Automātiski tulkots.

Heated swimming pool, restaurant, bar and small store available. Baguettes are available to order in advance, but I didn't find the quality particularly good and preferred to cycle to the bakery in Vallon to enjoy a delicious baguette.... The sanitary facilities are older but clean and toilet paper is available. I think the number of showers and toilets is too low, and there may be waiting times in the high season. For canoeists, the site is ideally located as a starting point for canoeing the Ardèche Gorge. There is a friendly and reasonably priced canoe rental company right next to the campsite.Automātiski tulkots.
Guntram H.September 2014Place with good, French standardSeptember 2014: There are now Euro plugs throughout the campsite - so no more adapters are required. English was spoken at reception and they were very courteous and friendly. Sanitary facilities very clean. The swimming pool and children's pool are heated and still in full use at this time, although... the site was at best 50% full. Vallon is about 1.2km away and is easily accessible on foot or by bike. Nice, very touristy center. Important: the museum of the "Grotte Chauvet", in which rock carvings with an alleged age of about 40000 years were found. The Arc over the Ardeche is about 3km away. June 2011: The site is very shady and dark due to the many tall trees. The pitches are absolutely flat and partly sandy (hardly any grass due to too much shade). Old power supply (no Euro plugs), which is why an adapter for French power sockets is essential. Not much going on in June and you can choose your pitch as you wish. In the season, due to the size of the site alone (approx. 250 pitches), a higher level of noise pollution is to be expected. The sanitary facilities were clean and were cleaned several times a day. However, they are open on all sides and therefore very "draughty". For us it was an ideal place for various excursions - Vallon Pont d` Arc / Pont d` Arc / Ardeche gorge / etc. We cannot give any information about the leisure activities on offer. Showers very large, toilets rather cramped. Nice pool, not very big but sufficient in relation to the size of the pitch. Ideal location to start canoeing, as landlord on site and first short tour to Pont'd Arc from site perfect.... We were there in June 2014. Unbeatable value for money with ACSI. At this time only 70% occupied and very quiet as there was no entertainment. Only the beach on the Ardeche is without a "sunbathing area" - if you even need one there. Water, sewage and electricity connections are available in sufficient numbers. The village can be reached on foot in approx. 15 - 20 minutes. The region offers an enormous number of possibilities. - Gudrun H.August 2011The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pitches are mostly shaded, which is very advantageous at 30°C. The site has its own canoe rental. The sanitary facilities are clean and are cleaned several times a day. The floors of the sanitary facilities are often sandy due to the campsite ground, and the... hard-working cleaning staff cannot change this. The only disadvantage is that the water is always warm but the temperature cannot be adjusted. Our kids really enjoyed the evening entertainment. The bands that played were really good. - H-J. B.August 2011The campsite is located directly on the Ardeche. Despite the high season, there were several pitches to choose from. Due to the region, the pitches are not completely overgrown with grass and the trees provide sufficient shade. The reception was manned all day during the high season. The staff were very... friendly and helpful. The site has three sanitary blocks, with the paths between them being so short that you always have two to choose from, as they are mixed but also separated by gender. The sanitary blocks were cleaned three times a day. The pool area belonging to the campsite is perfectly adequate for the size of the campsite, and sun loungers were always available. The campsite has a small bar and a restaurant. The restaurant only has a small menu, but the food we ordered was tasty and of high quality. There is a small entertainment program during the high season (for adults/young people: Archery, handball/volleyball, badminton/tennis etc and evening program (but not disruptive), furthermore canoe trips were possible directly from the site) For children up to 12 there was a mini club available. Here we noticed that the entertainer did not speak German, but communication worked. The prices are in line with the region for us (standard pitch €32 per day for 2 people caravan/mobile home in high season). We will visit the site again.Automātiski tulkots.
- Diana S.August 2011Visited for 1 night on the way home from the south. Idyllic location directly on the Ardeche. Pitches further up the road / pool very noisy. Pool area looks bigger in the brochure. Extremely shady pitches in the forest, without light and grass, very sandy! Access to the Ardeche very stony, water smelly.... You have to like it. You can book canoe tours lasting several hours, small children's entertainment program. Mixed sanitary facilities for men and women, few toilets and showers, so queues. Cleaning lady only came back in the morning. Then everything picco-bello. Small restaurant with a small menu, but not tested. Reception very friendly and helpful. But pitches too expensive (just "Ardeche surcharge"!) We don't have to have them again.Automātiski tulkots.
