Only one of 2 sanitary buildings open. Restaurant closed. Swimming pool not usable. Too few garbage cans and no signs.
Not worth 5 stars
If you are a year-round 5-star campsite and close one of the 2 sanitary buildings in a well-filled campsite. If no restaurant is open and the pool is locked, then it's not worth 5 stars. The price of €29.70 is therefore also justified. Once is enough.

Stage, Culture, Party
We used the site as a stage. It is easily and quickly accessible without detours. Campsites are rare, but there is plenty of rental accommodation. If you want to take advantage of the cultural offerings in Nantes, you're certainly in good hands here. Not suitable for a vacation in my opinion, although... everything is on offer for families. More of a small town than a campsite. Very good as a stopover, but quite noisy at night (our experience with 1 overnight stay). Sanitary facilities spacious and clean, well-organized site. Restaurant available.

Very good city campsite
Quiet city campsite, 15 minutes by bike into the city along the river, internet ok, large good showers, staff helpful and friendly, public bath opposite, streetcar stop at the entrance, mini golf course, half mobile homes, no permanent campers, pleasant atmosphere.

Gratis toegang tot groot gemeentezwembad aan de overkant van straat.
Netjes, gastvrij en voordelig
Nette camping, 1 overnachting gehad met tent als startpunt voor onze gezinsfietsvakantie langs de Atlantische kust. With 's avonds een gratis welkomstdrankje, leuk gebaar, nooit eerder meegemaakt. Of our 11 campings during this vacation, this one is on 3 qua voordeligheid, en on 1 qua prijs/kwaliteitverhouding (ik dacht dat ze speciaal tarief vakantiefietsers rekenen).

Beautiful space
It's a nice campsite with everything you could ask for. The pitches are screened off with plants. Otherwise there is a bar/restaurant, wifi, playgrounds, swimming pool, mini golf. The city can be reached by line 2 - tram.

Unfriendly reception
The most unfriendly reception in France, never again
Camping full on arrival in the evening. That's OK, it can happen. But the reception showed absolutely no interest in finding an alternative. Disinterested, dismissive, unfriendly. A pity really, the campsite otherwise made a good impression from the outside. Fortunately we found a pitch in the center of Nantes.

A 4-star campsite trimmed for luxury, but important things were simply missing. At EUR 15.55 per night for one person with tent and bicycle in low season (17.06.2013), it is simply too expensive for what is on offer, especially compared to several other campsites in France. Although it's a very nice... campsite, I would have expected the following for this price, even in the low season, based on my experience with other French campsites: shopping facilities on the site, possibility to order bread/croissants for breakfast, possible breakfast offer in the restaurant, clear announcements. There was none of this, but the showers were absolutely luxurious and oversized. The "Accueil" was impersonal - perfect; but although the campsite is located directly on the "Vélodyssée", the friendly lady at the Accueil could not give me any information about it. All in all, rather disappointing.

Excellent campsite, very well located 100m from the streetcar station. Very quiet location. Free aquatic center across the street for campsite users. Wifi, mini golf, restaurant. Pony for the little ones.

Located near the university on the outskirts of the city, but still not far from the center; very quiet; 5-star category, which can be recognized especially by the sanitary buildings (completely new, huge showers with adjustable water temperature, everything very clean); wide, asphalted paths (also suitable... for large caravans); very level meadow surface in the front area, fine gravel surface in the rear area; everything very nicely laid out; very nice children's playground; free mini-golf course + use of the pool; free pony riding for children on Wednesdays; very professional, English-speaking reception; Wifi for €1 per day!
