Good, well-run campground
To go to the beach you have to use a car. Otherwise I had a pleasant night. It is a well-run facility with a weight room attached (also available for outsiders who cannot enter the campground, however).

Super price-performance ratio
Here you have a breathtaking view thanks to the location. You can easily reach Peniche on foot and there is a large supermarket 2 minutes away by car. There are large stones everywhere to protect your awning from the wind. The staff are super friendly! The toilets are typical of the 1 * category, but extremely well maintained.

We arrived at this spot quite late. It was very, very windy. When we were behind the barrier and were told to stand behind the wall, we were shocked. There are over 2.50m high dividing walls all over the site that you can stand behind to block the wind. This is very useful, but you also have the feeling... of being barracked. There are also pitches without a wall by the road, but there you are fully exposed to the wind. Otherwise there was a lack of greenery. There were hardly any plants, just sand and these walls. The sanitary facilities were ok and the staff were friendly.

Good, windy campsite
We stayed here for two nights. You can get to the big beaches quickly by car - surfing. The sanitary facilities are old but functional, clean in any case. The staff are very friendly and uncomplicated. As the site is directly across the road from the sea, it was very windy at night. But it didn't really bother us. We camped on the larger pitch, but you could also have pitched your tent behind the walls, which makes perfect sense.

A full handful of ocean and Portugal
The campsite is a solid three stars. We stayed in a bungalow. Parking lots near the place of accommodation. Well, who with a tent - it is clear. The atmosphere is very democratic. A lot of French people. A lot of families with small children. The coast of Oecan literally 10 meters. In a minute drive... supermarket "Continent". During our stay in the camping there were several youth groups. The bar in the camping works late. On the territory of the camping network catches so bad, and in the bar is perfect high-speed WI-FI and absolutely free. The bungalows are stone and small. In Portuguese they are all white. There is TV. We paid somewhere around 40 euros a night and tent sites are cheap. The views in the surrounding area are stunning. A paradise for photographers. If by car, it is easy to get to the Historical centers: Tomar (Templar castle and the holiday of the Butalleros), Obidos, Sintra, Cascais, Batalha, Lisbon itself, etc. All within one excursion day. But the main thing is the ocean!!! Yes, there are also islands not far away. Well, Peniche itself is a resort area with all the ensuing gimmicks.

Friendly and helpful reception staff Very helpful bar staff, always ready to find something to eat The park has no shade, but in Peniche it's almost always windy and cool. I think this PC is more geared towards bungalows, but there is room for caravans, tents and AC. The pool isn't Olympic-sized, but... it's good for swimming and sunbathing, and it's covered and sheltered from the wind. The toilets were very clean, but looked as if they had been made without regard for beauty but to endure the mistreatment of some PC users. A place for barbecues and roasts To visit when you're in these parts, but for more than 3/4 days, it's tiring. I'll be back and I liked it

A somewhat unusual site - we remember it as "Camping Moabit" (see pictures). The operators were very friendly and the prices very reasonable. There was very little going on in June. You can be in the town center in a few minutes by bike. There is free WLAN in the nice bar. The sanitary facilities are fine. The site is fine for a visit to Peniche. We also had a look at the competing Camping Municipal, which is definitely not recommended.

There is a campsite with pitches for caravans and motorhomes at the entrance to the lighthouse and the Cabo Carvoeiro viewing platform. There are also some apartments and bungalows. Everything is very simple. There is a small restaurant, a small indoor pool and a wonderful view of the Atlantic Ocean and the offshore island of Ilha Da Berlenga.
