- Bernhard K.September 2017PozitīviLocation, cleanliness, view.NegatīvaisNone.Beautiful place with a great viewWe stayed here for 6 days to see St Ives and the surrounding area. Spacious pitches, some sloping. Views of the sea from everywhere. St Ives can be reached on foot in 30 minutes. There is also a bus from the site to the town center. We really liked it here.Automātiski tulkots.
- Peter L.July 2015PozitīviLandscape, landscape and landscapeNegatīvais%Luxury class spaceMost of the previous commentators have already written about it, but I would like to emphasize the huge plots and the large, heated pool. The price is quite high, but the success proves it right.Automātiski tulkots.
- Stefan K.August 2014PozitīviLarge pitches, very well-kept groundsNegatīvaisnoneOne of the best campsites we have ever visited. This campsite has truly earned its 5 stars. It has everything you could wish for as a camper. The mix of campers in tents, caravans or motorhomes is balanced. The pitches are pleasantly large and in most cases separated from the neighboring pitches by a hedge. The sanitary buildings are in excellent... condition and, unlike many other campsites where my family and I have been on vacation, the showers have a sufficiently long shower time with really warm water. There are also free hairdryers. The sinks are also beyond reproach, very hot water and large enough. The site also has a small pool, a putting golf course, two tennis courts, a bar and restaurant, a small store, a playground and a football pitch. These facilities are also very well maintained. There are a sufficient number of garbage cans and they are emptied daily, as we have experienced elsewhere. There are plenty of washing machines and dryers and they work perfectly. At four pounds a little more expensive, but the washing machines and dryers are fast and large. As a highlight, you can, if you like, iron your laundry with the irons provided free of charge. The staff at reception are very courteous and helpful. It should also be emphasized that there is an hourly bus to St. Ives directly in front of the reception, which is very practical, as St. Ives is very busy in the high season, so it is a better choice not to take the car.Automātiski tulkots.
- Jürg B.June 2014PozitīviNice quiet placeNegatīvaisAccess via Crowlas somewhat difficult as the roads are very narrow.HIGH ABOVE ST. IVESFriendly and helpful staff throughout the site. Very nice and spacious pitch, divided by hedges, some hardstandings, with a view of the sea. Good, clean sanit. Blocks, store with food and everything for everyday life. Various fresh water and waste water points on the site. Quiet location away from the... roads. Good restaurant on the site. Very good laundry with plenty of washing and drying machines at a fair price. Ideal for visiting St. Ives, a footpath from the campsite leads directly to the center, approx. 20 min. There is also a bus connection, bus stop outside the campsite. Also ideal for a round trip in South Cornwall to St. Just, Lands End, Penzance and St. Michaels Mount. Roads are narrow in places. Access to the campsite: Road via Crowlas B3309/B3311 to Halsetown very narrow, confusing due to hedges and few passing places. Better via Hayle >> alternative route A3074 towards St. Ives. Shortly before St. Ives turn left towards Halsetown, then turn right at the end of the village to the campsite.Automātiski tulkots.
