The reception was very friendly and courteous (for the ladies a 1+), bread service is all the best only it becomes an investment for a longer stay.
The place was still "hibernating"... although the season started on 14.4. Everything a little unkempt, the pitches we were assigned were at the far end of the pitch (for whatever reason the pitch was empty) the lawn was about 20cm there (the rest of the pitch was mowed, understand who wants).
No hot water for showers on the 1st evening and no paper in the toilets late in the evening, the staff had probably "overslept" the start of the season.
The supposed camper who made the comments about the hot water to me would immediately receive a warning from me (was an employer for 30 years) (it later turned out that he was an "employee" of the campsite).
All in all, you can, but don't have to come back a second time.Automātiski tulkots.

For a daily price of €1.90, there's not much you can say. The pitches are large enough and the paving in places makes them easy to set up. The showers offer very little space and the water pressure and temperature do not exactly provide a showering experience. Saving and moldy joints also do not exactly create a feel-good atmosphere. Conveniently located for the A7 and A38.NegatīvaisCurrently construction work in the adjacent outdoor pool.Stay June 2023We rate the campsite as good overall. The approach could be better signposted. There is no separate waiting lane. I found the online check-in in advance to be very time-consuming and cumbersome. The bill was paid in full in advance and confirmed. Nevertheless, the reception first had to contact the head... office by telephone to accept our price (early booking discount). Barrier key costs 30 € deposit. There are already better technical solutions here. We had booked a comfort pitch. The pitch is gravel for the vehicle and the awning area is paved. Almost level. However, we still used wheel chocks. The lawn area was not mowed. Water, electricity and waste water are in the immediate vicinity. A sanitary building was nearby and always in a clean condition. There were 3 showers here. In the 2nd sanitary building there were even more showers. There was also a kitchenette with microwave and electric stove. Unfortunately, there is no signage for the use of the showers and tokens are required (these are available free of charge at reception, but we found this out too late). Very inconvenient! The dishwashers have different tokens and the washing machines require € coins. WLAN is available for a fee via an external provider (My cloud). Unfortunately, the speed is very low and is only good for reading emails. The data rate via the mobile network is also inadequate. The restaurant was not open during our stay.
Overall, the site is quiet. We had slight disturbances due to construction work in the neighboring outdoor pool. However, this will soon be completed.
The entrance to the very nice pool is discounted by the rainbow camp and the family weekly ticket is very cheap. The site is quite busy. The sanitary facilities were not always perfectly clean, but overall it was ok. The showers are sometimes worth the longer walk to the large sanitary building. In the... high season, the neighboring adventure pool is included, very nice :-) The excursion destinations in the surrounding area are interesting: hiking on the Hohen Hagen, Göttingen, Hann.Münden (very nice) The restaurant on site is worth a visit for the quality of the food. However, the service took some getting used to :-) The pizzeria around the corner from the campsite was more convincing in both categoriesAutomātiski tulkots.

When the barrier is closed, you have to look for a parking space as there is no real waiting lane for arriving guests. Fortunately, the parking lot for swimming pool visitors was not yet completely full. The reception was very nice after we were asked to... wait outside due to data protection and only enter when asked. We had booked an XL pitch. This consisted of two pitches one behind the other with the power supply box in the middle, and two paved, very uneven areas that could only be used if you only stood on one pitch and not in the middle. But the shock came when we went into the sanitary building. There were 3 showers in the ladies' area, one new and very spacious but without an anteroom, the other two with a shower tray and an anteroom maybe 30 to 40 cm wide without a shelf. Changing had to take place in front of the shower cubicles. This is not a 5 star standard. Even the rain showers don't change anything. Some of the shower trays in the men's rooms were Kalahar yellow, a nod to the 70s and the condition was accordingly. The cleanliness advertised on the homepage is also only superficial. Cleaning takes place in the morning around 10 am. The sanitary facilities also look like this in the morning before cleaning. The permanent pitches also look very neglected. You feel like you've landed in the slums. The Gauß tower with tower café, which is advertised on the homepage as a destination for excursions, has probably been neglected for years and it is impossible to enter or enjoy the view. So we left early. Conclusion: After great campsites on the North Sea and Baltic Sea, this place was a shock and also the most expensive on our vacation trip. There are discarded fridges right next to the access road. A large part is for permanent campers who leave their pitches rather neglected. There are about 80 square meters of space for vacation guests. These are equipped with electricity but not with a direct... water connection. This means that each camper has to fetch their own water in a jerry can from one of the few water connections. The nearby adventure pool only opens at 11:30 am and is not set up for early swimmers. Bread rolls are only available in the mini-market on site from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. if ordered in advance. After that, the store was closed for the rest of the day. There is a neglected camper van and other garbage on the former dog meadow. The operators neither pay attention to compliance with the site rules nor do they adhere to them themselves. Some areas have been mowed, but the grass cuttings have been disposed of at the side of the path to the wooden huts. There are plenty of signs about tidiness and hygiene, but hardly anyone adhered to them. We did not like it there and we left early and will not book there again in the future! How this place got its 5 stars is a mystery to me.Automātiski tulkots.
