We've been coming here for 20 years and things have always improved. We are very satisfied.

The entire staff, especially the security guard, were always helpful and immediately on hand to help. A big compliment goes to the entire staff of the restaurant "Zum Seeteufel" for the very good cuisine.

- Andy 0.October 2016once and never again...The campsite is located directly on the Schwielochsee, with a bathing bay and boat landing stage. There are mainly permanent campers on the site, but they were very friendly. About the pricing of the campsite: I've never had to pay for my "awning", it's probably the only campsite in the world 😂. According... to the price list, there is no shower fee, but that's not true... You get a chip card where you have to top up money, otherwise there is no water. The service of the place also leaves a lot to be desired. Although the place was still open, no boat rental, no bread service and the restaurant was already closed. The garbage disposal was also limited in time from 10-11 o'clock, and only under controlled supervision and meticulous waste separation!!!!Automātiski tulkots.

- Beatrix W.April 2014Disappointed and not recommended-Unfriendly staff! You feel annoying as a paying guest. Excessive prices "EXTRA PAYMENT FOR A VORZELT ON THE CARAVAN". Our children slept in our T5 bus and we had to pay a pitch fee for the bus !!!!Also for caravans and T5 EVERYWHERE we paid for a pitch and paid extra for the awning! I've never experienced... anything like it. Cold water for washing up and cold water for showering for a while, of course the shower timer is already running! I expressed my displeasure to the staff and said that I would definitely not come back, I didn't get the impression that they were annoyed. Well, they lost us as guests. - Jörg P.June 2013Camping Niewisch am Schwielochsee, June 2013 We read the comments in disbelief, so we decided to try it out for ourselves! Our telephone inquiry regarding a pitch for a motorhome, trailer and berth for the small sailing dinghy was answered in a friendly and positive manner. On arrival, we expressly wanted... to inspect the berth for the dinghy first, because our stay depended on it. The lady at the registration desk ignored this and insisted that we fill in the registration form. There was no mistaking the Euro signs in her eyes. After repeating our request for the third time, the time had come and we were allowed to choose our berth. Tip: The booking should be made in short installments, once paid, it will not be refunded, we were emphasized. This can also be understood in terms of occupancy. The campsite, including the children's playground, bathing area and sanitary facilities, are clean and well maintained. There are stools at the washbasins for younger guests, which is okay, as kids have no business being alone in the sanitary facilities anyway. The restaurant on the pitch is well maintained, offers quality and has moderate prices. We were unpleasantly struck by the appearance of the reception and the patchy range of baked goods, but the bread roll service from 8:30 a.m. worked. With high-end kiosk prices, e.g. for drinks - a bottle of beer for €1.10 - shopping is difficult anyway. Sorry, this is an exaggeration. During the "renovation" of a sandy path, sharp, coarse grit, almost gravel was used, very unfriendly against playing children and thin bicycle tires. What can happen while having breakfast in front of the motorhome? Flies, wasps - ok, nature. But the fact that the grass is mowed with a lawn tractor at a short distance from the breakfasting guests is probably not. A small stone flew at my leg. How could it? Shouldn't it? After I stopped the tractor driver, he turned off and mowed somewhere else. You can expect better empathy and organization at a site in this price category. We paid €7.10 per day just for the boat and trailer, and it cost another €10 to slip in and out with our own equipment. Can you expect the barrier in front of the slipway to be fully opened and not just the padlock removed when you are standing on the slope with the trailer in your hand? Given the prices, YES! So that we understand each other correctly: The prices might be acceptable if the service was right! The price-performance ratio compared to the permanent campers is simply not right. Rejoice, permanent campers, and thank you for conveying our opinion to the operators, that saved us half the discussion. The ladies seemed to be so convinced of the correctness of their style of behavior that criticism was rejected as an insult to their majesty. We wish future guests that the owners will think better of it or hand over the business to someone who is really interested.Automātiski tulkots.
- bea l.August 2011Prepayment on arrival and no money back in case of early departure, was not recognizable on the Internet beforehand. No EC payment possible either. Extra charge for awning on the caravan, this was also not recognizable on the Internet. I have never experienced this in 15 years of camping. Mainly permanent... campers. However, they were very friendly. Had different experiences on other sites. We were lucky with our pitch, which was right next to a small bay near the jetty. The sanitary facilities were ok but not great. We had no problems with the staff and nobody was unfriendly. I just don't understand how this place got 4 stars. We definitely won't be going back, although the surroundings are very beautiful.Automātiski tulkots.

- Celina R.August 2010The campsite is beautifully situated. The surrounding area is interesting for hikers and cyclists. The place itself is neat. But the lake has a lot of algae and looks green. The campsite staff is not friendly and not accommodating. We didn't want to eat in the restaurant. We only recommend the site for a one night stay.Automātiski tulkots.
