- The pitches are large.
- In almost every location you know what to do as there is a prohibition sign telling you what to do.
- The site manager comes across as very unfriendly, whereas the lady in the office is super friendly....
- From my point of view, no place for dogs, as you are allowed to enter the sunbathing lawn with a leashed dog, but should look for a place in the area of the boat entrance

Totally helpful and always willing to share his insider knowledge. Our pitch was large and had a direct view of the lake. The sanitary facilities are clean but also very old. The sanitary facilities are clean, but no longer up to date. The pitches are small and very soggy due to all the rain. Nobody can do anything about the rain, but they can do something about the muddy ground. A reasonably... firm surface could be created here with plaster or gravel. The very loud, very long bell ringing at 6! (every morning), but that doesn't make it any quieter. The lake is great, by the way...
But what doesn't work at all is the rental caravan on the right.... I had never seen anything like it: The door locks by itself (the key is inside), the hotplates are totally rusty, there are screws sticking out of the top of the fridge, the top cover is probably missing, and inside it goes on like this Nothing is repaired, let alone replaced. Later we took a tour of the site, the beach/lounging area by the lake looked good. The sanitary building was clean, but a little older.
The restaurant was unfortunately... closed, the whole site was not very busy (low season). However, I can well imagine the CP in warm/beautiful weather.

The site is very family-friendly. As there is only one central access road and the other paths are narrow cul-de-sacs, you don't have to worry about your child being run over by a car. The toddler 2 pitches away was simply left to crawl and caught again... every 15 minutes 😀. On the other hand, with a long trailer you have to look all the better at how to drive around the bend and whether it makes more sense to drive forwards or backwards. The plots all have a slight slope and you have to compensate.
The sanitary facilities are older, but well maintained and clean. The atmosphere on the site is quiet and informal, at night you can only slightly hear the country road and the 15-minute chime of the church clock.

Familie S.August 2018PozitīviFamily-friendly facility, No key deposit.NegatīvaisTripping hazards in the washing machine area.Camping at the lidoThere are several campsites on Lake Waginger and Lake Taching, which makes it difficult to choose. This time we looked for free Wi-Fi - and drove to Taching. The only drawback there was the lack of shopping facilities nearby. But there is a restaurant and a bread roll service. The lido and hot water... are included, electricity is charged according to consumption, the car is parked on the pitch, the paths are graveled and lit at night, the staff are friendly, the sanitary facilities are reasonably clean despite the vacation season and the pitch is correspondingly busy. There is also a camper library. We found the "give-away table" original. Payment is made in cash or by card on departure. - We rate with 4 stars.Automātiski tulkots.

Great for walking and cycling. With the spa card you can take the train to Ruhpolding via Traunstein or to Traunreut free of charge. Burghausen with the longest castle in the world is about 20km away. The place is clean and the staff friendly and helpful.... Unfortunately there is nothing to buy on site except breakfast bread, you have to drive to Waging (approx. 3.5km) or to the village store (300m). Nice for bathing and swimming. Water very clean with fish and mussels. Pizzeria and ice cream at the CP.Automātiski tulkots.- Ralf M.May 2018PozitīviThe lakeNegatīvaisI have noNice "small" campsite.If you're looking for a campsite with entertainment and a water park, you've come to the wrong place. This is a nice little campsite with peace and quiet and friendly staff. The pitch itself was ok. A bit bigger would not have been bad. Of course you can sometimes hear agricultural noises in the countryside,... but I didn't find it disturbing. The lake is brilliant and was nice and warm at Whitsun. There is also plenty of shade on the sunbathing lawn. Unfortunately, the diving platform wasn't in the water, but this was due to bureaucracy. The cleaning lady did her best, but with a fully occupied CP she was a bit overwhelmed. To clarify: it wasn't dirty, but unfortunately there are several strange campers. I wonder if they leave the showers and toilets at home like that? The price-performance ratio was good. The food at Da Franco was delicious, but we ordered and ate on site. It was spring, so we didn't swim :-) We were out and about a lot with the bikes. No problems with the dog either. Nice permanent campers. You get the instruction to feed the cat during the week. Sanitary building could use a renovation but otherwise clean and in order. Shopping can be done by bike in the village. Last year we rented a static caravan, which was in top condition and we felt very comfortable. The lake is wonderful, crystal clear in places. There are several places of interest... nearby, e.g. Salzburg is close by and can be easily reached by bus. Fresh bread rolls are available daily and can be ordered the day before. Dogs are also welcome, but not in the swimming area by the lake. All in all, a relaxed atmosphere and friendly people. The pizzeria on site is fine and the prices are not exorbitant. There is also a kiosk with ice cream and other snacks. We are looking forward to coming again this year :)Automātiski tulkots.

In other words: we like it! The site is relatively small, but run by nice people. The lake is just great. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are 'a bit outdated'. But they are ok and clean. You have to be mobile to go shopping as there's hardly anything on site.
