A course where the recent wet weather cost us a place on the meadow. But at least we got a pitch. The pitch itself is not the most modern. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years, but are cleaned daily. Only the proximity to Rotterdam can halfway explain the price of 31 euros per night without... electricity (4 euros per night). For this price, we have stayed in more luxurious accommodation near Großstätten. And remember, motorhome drivers greet each other.

Municipal campsite
The reception was very friendly. We were allowed to choose the pitch ourselves. You can choose pitches on a meadow or under trees. On the meadow, the access road was quite muddy, but it is asphalted under the trees. The whole site has a high noise level, as there is a highway and a railroad line nearby.... The sanitary facilities are old and used, but the cleaning staff clean constantly and seem to make the best of it. The showers are warm and free, but quite cramped. The city center can be reached quickly by bike or bus (approx. 15 min.). There is a bus stop nearby, the bus goes to the main train station. A supermarket is approx. 1.5 km away.

Apart from the fact that the coordinates given are not correct (but you can get there approximately with the address), it should be noted that it is a very simple site. Some pitches are located under tall trees and are separated from each other by bushes. There is also a free meadow area on offer, which... does not have electricity connections for everyone. With a bit of bad luck, you may end up plugging into a faulty socket. To the right of the entrance is a large, open meadow, which is probably primarily intended for "campers". Electricity can be provisionally connected there. The sanitary building is old and "used up". However, I wouldn't have had anything to complain about in terms of cleanliness. The small pub was already closed in September. The team at the reception is very friendly and helpful and actually available around the clock.\_Optimal is the proximity to the bus station, from which you are in the center of Rotterdam in just a few minutes.

Noisy and outdated facilities
For a weekend with a city tour
Campsite is only suitable for a weekend with sightseeing. Price very high at 39 euros per night for 2 people with 2 dogs incl. electricity. Walk to the bus station 10 minutes, bus ride 15 minutes to the city center. Very friendly staff. Sanitary facilities are getting on in years but ok. The highway is right next to the campsite and therefore audible. But you can't have everything.

Plumbing, aggressive owner, constant threats by owner, early need to be inside.......
Seems more like a penal camp than a campground
When you ask for a pass to the barrier you are told in a particularly aggressive tone that you just have to be inside before 8 o'clock and if not, stay out of the campground that night! You just paid for it and besides, according to their own website you cannot enter the campground after 2300 hours.... When you are not directly at your laundry, other guests just take your laundry out of the machine or dryer, I find this rather inappropriate and even more strange when the owner thinks this is normal and furthermore, once again threatens you and commits trespassing by pulling open the door of the camper and shouting uninvited. Plumbing dates from 1800, totally no space to undress and/or dress. Not heated in winter (freezing and below) extremely poor accommodation. Chemical toiulet you have to empty into the sewage drain, the unit to empty the chemical toilet was closed! Particularly unhygienic!!! Only plus point is the bus stop nearby so you can quickly get into town. (Tickets are not sold zxoalso as the site mentioned at the reception) There you have to walk for about half an hour to buy a public transport ticket. Not recommended!

Simple sanitary facilities
Simple campsite close to the city with a good price-performance ratio
Small campsite close to the city center. You can reach the Centraal in 10 minutes by public transport. The bus stop is a 5-minute walk away. The campsite is close to the highway, therefore easily accessible, but the highway is also audible. The campsite has large meadows for tents and parceled out pitches... for caravans and motorhomes, some of which are paved to accommodate the vehicle. The pitches are divided by wild vegetation and surrounded by large trees. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years, but largely well maintained. Cleanliness is okay. Small shower areas, but with nice hot water. Reception very friendly and helpful. Staff constantly present on the campsite, site makes a safe impression. Perfectly adequate for a weekend stay to visit Rotterdam.

Cleanliness Sanitary facilities Canteen and supermarket were not yet open
The only good thing about this campsite is the location. The sanitary facilities are run-down and absolutely filthy with only about 5 occupied pitches. Shared sanitary facilities have also been out of fashion for a hundred years or who wants to see a man in knickers on the way to the shower? The showers are far too narrow, the water is only warm in one cubicle. Just horrible! A disgrace for such a modern city.

Cost 23 Є: 2 people, tent and car. WiFi paid 2 Є/hour. There is no kitchen block. There is a room for machine washing. For tent campers a huge flat meadow with garbage cans, which is adjacent to the sanitary blocks. Sanbloks dirty. There is no toilet paper or electricity. There is a whole street with individual sites for campers. Another street with rented houses. There is a cafe, but without draught beer. Noisy from the highway. Did not like.
