Fine, small square
Small place that invites you to rest, everything is clean and well-kept, we liked it very much, bread rolls or bread service would be desirable.

Exceptionally quiet and beautifully situated
Partly terraced (gravelled) pitches for caravans and motorhomes. An excellent location for exploring Trotternish. Wonderful view of Staffin Bay. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The view of the Skye mountains from the campsite is fantastic. The coast is also a short walk from the site. Beautiful sunsets (weather permitting). Great. The pitches are very uneven for tents, even those for caravans apparently (there was a lot of maneuvering). As the site is almost at the northern... end of Skye, there is little traffic on the nearby road - we had absolutely no disturbing noises at night. The sanitary facilities left an ambivalent impression. On the plus side, they were apparently cleaned well twice a day. The downside: the facilities are actually completely outdated and in rather mediocre condition. On the other hand, the site is cheap with a fee of 11 euros for a tent (most were around 20 euros in 2011). As far as we were told, this site is by far the best on Skye, despite the antiquated sanitary facilities.

Very quiet place, pitches a bit difficult on the slope. Sanit. Facilities old but clean, not enough when fully occupied. Possibility to walk across the meadow to the cliffs, approx. 15 min. Friendly staff.
