Upon arrival this turns out to be a campground. Very annoying as a camper driver when you drive that far and come to the conclusion that you have no other choice. The agreed price according to ASCI is 25 CHZ per night.
After finally... an indicated place from the owner,
after installation I could pack everything back up and was assigned another place. VERY FEELING and this for 38 CHZ per night. Here I will NEVER come MORE!!!

Excursion possibilities, free use of the beautiful lakeside pool.NegatīvaisEvents at the sports field could be a quiet problem, but this was not the case during our stay.Everything you needAlthough the site is in an unfavorable location, we were able to ignore the gravel works as it was in the background and we didn't have to look at it. Noises were not really disturbing. A major event was taking place on the sports field, the music in the evening fortunately suited our taste and we didn't... really find the volume disturbing (no booming basses). The swimming pool around the corner can be used free of charge and that's really nice. We really enjoyed the refreshing dip in the lake. The reeds are a nature reserve and very attractive for a walk in the early morning or late evening and you can get there directly from the campsite. Lucerne can be reached quickly by bike on a beautiful route along the lake, in the center of Horw (just around the corner, if necessary also within walking distance) there are all the stores and restaurants you need (except parking spaces for motorhomes, we had to search a little). The sanitary facilities may have been renovated in the meantime, but we thought everything was absolutely great! The permanent campers are accommodated on another part of the site, so that the short-term tourists are among themselves. The operators are friendly, provide detailed information and simply make you feel really comfortable. The prices take some getting used to in Switzerland, and in the store they are probably really rather high - but you don't necessarily have to shop there. However, we found the sports field right next door disturbing, i.e. during the day a sports festival for school children, in the evening soccer training. The pitches are large enough. Water connection or filling only possible at the station... at the reception. Outdated sanitary building, installation accordingly. For 2-3 days short stay or stopover quite ok. Joachim B.September 2018PozitīviNear A2, very tasty baguetteNegatīvaisUnfair exchange rate, hardly usable sea accessOkay for an overnight stay in transitWe stopped here for one night on our way to Italy. The site is close to the A2 and is therefore easy to reach. The reception is very friendly, but you have to stand outside at the covered window during registration, regardless of the weather. Our pitch (no. 123) was quite small for the 7.95 m Bürstner... caravan, but the car had to spend the night outside anyway. That was fine. The sanitary facilities are older, but clean and perfectly okay. However, the water temperature has to be regulated manually. The "restaurant" was unpleasant. It is a kiosk with an adjoining dining room. The clearly laid out menu itself has prices that you have to get used to. Maybe that's how you have to calculate in Switzerland, I don't know. The 39 francs for 2x bratwurst with chips, two ice creams and two cebattas for the next morning were taken from us 1:1 in euros without comment. We received 11 francs as change for the 50 euro bill. This was not recognizable in the dark at the kiosk counter, we only noticed when we wanted to pay with it in Italy. Someone had made a double profit from the exchange rate, something like that doesn't "happen" to a professional in day-to-day business ... The access to Lake Lucerne is an approx. 1.50 m wide path through reeds. That's as wide as it gets. The view of the lake is also obstructed by reeds. As a result, we would book a night there again as a stopover, but we would take better care.
