"Exceptional place in the middle of nature - We had some very nice days on this exceptional site. We were on a comfort pitch and there was so much to discover! The offshore islands, which can be reached via bridges, were a highlight. The sanitary facilities were always clean, washing machines were free and the supermarket was well stocked. The site is huge, but the people are spread out. You never get the impression of being on an 800-pitch site, we were glad we had scooters and bikes with us.

"Very nice pitches right on the water, nothing going on in the off-season - We were on this pitch from 21.08.-03.09.2021. We came at the end of the main season. Our pitch was on the Kapell part of the site, right next to the small offshore islands. We had a pitch with electricity. The paths to water and waste water are a little further, but we knew this and chose it explicitly. The map of the area on the resort's website helps when booking. There you can also find all the features of the respective pitches. The sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly and properly. The free use of the dishwasher and the washing machines and dryers are positive and very helpful. For the latter two you "only" have to sign in a book. In the high season, it is certainly difficult to find a time to wash, as the site has countless pitches and is Sweden's largest campsite. There was nothing going on during our travel period. The entertainment program and the indoor pool were also closed in the last week of August. There is not much to see from a tourist point of view in the area apart from a lot of nature, an incredible amount of nature. The ferry to Gotland is also closed at the end of the Swedish vacations. From the Gränsö Canal, you can then only travel to the islands 3 times a week on the small postal boat for 1.5 hours - without stopping. For cyclists, Västervik offers super wide and extensive cycle paths, mostly asphalted. If you want to go mountain biking through the woods, there are also plenty of trails. The Swedish app Naturkartan is helpful for excursions. The waters around the campsite are very suitable for kayaking/SUP. In any case, we saw lots of people who had brought their own boats. We couldn't borrow any more, as the season was over here too. Too bad, BUT we hadn't had so much peace and relaxation on vacation for a very long time! The off-season is really worth it.

"Wonderful - Had the opportunity to experience Midsommar here. It was an experience! The campsite is large, but still not overcrowded.

"Beautiful location - Just in the lively town of Västervik and only a stone's throw away, you find yourself on a beautiful campsite in a beautiful natural setting. From many of the tourist pitches you can see the water and the archipelago islands off the coast, some of which can be reached via footbridges. Several sanitary buildings, the one we used was not always clean, although it was still low season, and tradesmen would have had work to do, e.g. with door handles/lighting. The campsite is large, depending on the pitch you can incorporate getting bread rolls or going to reception into your fitness program. There is a lot on offer, playgrounds. Adventure pool, several restaurants, sports fields etc., I don't want to list everything here, see the campsite website. Ideal for families with children of all ages, boaters and anglers.

"Super campsite in a beautiful location - Super! It's best to try to stand near water. Kitchens, toilets etc. have always been clean. Not only the dishwashers are free, but also the washing machines and dryers.
