The campsite makes a good impression when you arrive, but that's about it. The sanitary building 1 is run-down, the 2 showers are partly equipped with defective shower heads and broken shelves. Generally dingy and run-down condition. The store on the campsite... is a real rip-off and very sparsely stocked. We had to leave after one night due to an emergency at home. There was no concession from the manager. We were charged 199€ for one night with 2 people. Of which €7 was for the dog alone! Incidentally, he was not allowed on the beach!
A short time later, our pitch was occupied again, so the operator did not suffer any financial loss due to our last-minute departure. Our spot 121 gave us a bit of a bad feeling at first. Small, all alone, but what a wonderful place it turned out to be. On hot days wonderful shade from the apple tree, close to the lake. The restaurant was also delicious. Unfortunately, the takeaway was always closed when we wished to pick up. Unclear opening hours, but that certainly did not spoil the fun! The manager and manageress as well as all the staff are always very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are always clean and the bathing bay is great. You can hire sun loungers... and parasols as well as pedal boats and SUPs. The restaurant offers very good food and a good selection of drinks. A highlight are the fish and BBQ evenings, where the chef himself prepares excellent barbecues. The schnapps and liqueurs distilled by the chef himself are also highly recommended. In the small store you can get everything you need for breakfast and at lunchtime you can take away small dishes from the "hot corner".Automātiski tulkots.

It's very quiet here and you can't get enough of the mountains and lake from the terrace pitches. It was just the right thing for us after a week of RambaZamba in Croatia, where we could really relax and enjoy nature. To round off the vacation,... you should definitely go to the Hexenpfandl restaurant on the square, here you get great quality at good prices, everything is just right here.

TOP the sanitary facilities and showers clean TOP. Direct lake access with jetty or in shallow water with the possibility to rent sups or pedal boats, there is also a lake lounge and a toilet next to the sunbathing... lawn, the "Hexenpfandl" on the square is highly recommended to enjoy excellent food or to take the "Genuss Schmankerln" with you, the store is also ideal to get something for breakfast.The two worker bees Michael and Helmuth are very friendly, helpful and always have an ear if you need help; from the bosses to the restaurant staff to the cleaners and the two worker bees extremely friendly competent people on the square. We were four with three dogs 11 days and it was great hot days. All in all "the little vacation paradise on Lake Ossiach" is highly recommended, it is simply a vacation with friends where the hospitality is still right, are there again in September and look forward to it.

The service from the manager and all the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The boss, Mr. Martin Parth, helped us with a problem with our TV system in a very knowledgeable and targeted manner.... The sanitary facilities are very clean and pleasant. The use of the sauna was offered to us very kindly and competently. However, as it was too warm we did not make use of it. The adjoining restaurant is highly recommended. The bread delivery in the morning is fine. We would love to come back. The playground and beach facilities are great for families with small children.Automātiski tulkots.
Silvia H.September 2020PozitīviTerraced site, therefore great view of the lake; super good restaurant on site; nice and clean sanitary facilities; town of Ossiach only approx. 1.2 km away; cycle path leads right past itNegatīvais2 paved pitches, not suitable for Wowa; very muddy when it has rained a lotBeautiful campsite and great locationReception is very friendly; we were in Zone Gold, pitch 49; basically a good location, but not very suitable for caravans, as one part is laid out with grid stones and the rest consists of meadow or rather earth. The problem with this is that a larger caravan stands with the support wheel on the grid... stones, which is certainly not ideal! Be sure to take them with you: Plates for leveling or wheel chocks as the pitches are quite sloping! The restaurant on site is GREAT! However, we never went shopping in the small market, we did that in the nearby town of Ossiach or there is a SPAR at Camping Berghof. The sunbathing lawn is not very big, but there is also a nice little bar! The sanitary facilities are TOP! There is an older and a newer sanitary area. The location of the campsite is ideal if you want to explore the area by bike - the cycle path leads right past; the boat leaves from Ossiach, which is just under 1.2 km away. Starting point for countless leisure activities: Hiking, thermal baths, cycling, biking, city tours (Villach), etc.
Parceled out pitch, very clean and comfortable sanitary facilities.... If you like order and are looking for relaxation, this is the place for you.
An EXTRA point for the restaurant: We ate here on two evenings and already knew what we wanted to order on the 2nd day. BUT: the menu had changed! We were very surprised and pleased.
