"Quite quiet and conveniently located for a big city - Very friendly welcome, flat and large pitches separated by hedges, clean sanitary facilities, everything campers need available....we would love to come back!

"Central, reasonably clean, ok price - This was our first time at this campsite as the other one had closed. At first we were a bit disappointed with the site (too close to the highway), but then we were positive about the connection to the city center and shopping. The Prater can be reached in 15 minutes, the city center in 30 minutes and Schönbrunn in 45 minutes (all by bike). Exploring Vienna by bike is simply indescribable. Unfortunately the weather was again so warm that we returned to the campsite early. Despite all in all a good place with possibilities to eat, go out to eat in the immediate vicinity otherwise everything is easy to reach. We would love to come back. Price for Vienna completely ok.

"Close to the highway, yet quiet - For the end of April - prefect - I was there for a few days at the end of April. I had free choice of pitch and it was nice and big for my VW bus. As I was in Vienna during the day, I can't say much about the site during the day. The café is open from 8:00 in the morning with delicious coffee and bread rolls for sale. In the evening there is also hot food for those who are a little hungry. I thought that was good. I was there by car and motorcycle, which was of course great for getting to the city and surrounding area. So everything was great!

"Great location, otherwise not so good - The location of the square is great. Close to the city center. Easy to reach by bike or public transport. Bread rolls are available in the kiosk in the morning. Anyone expecting a parceled-out campsite will be disappointed. It is more like a pitch. The pitches are not really big either. There are two sanitary facilities. The front wash house was clean, but the back one was a disaster. Unfortunately, it was only cleaned superficially.

"Really heel slecht - Het is echt een camping met enormously veel achterstallig onderhoud. Nergens haakjes in de douches of plekken om je spullen neer te leggen. Schommels en kabelbaan waren er niet, alleen het frame.

Aktiv Camping Neue Donau is situated in the Danube-Recreational Zone (Nationalpark Lobau, Alte Donau, Donauinsel) - 40 km of beach on the Danube with bays for swimming, meadows for sunbathing, sport areas and playgrounds. Next to the camp site there …is a barbeque zone at the Danube, as well as restaurants and bars. In only ten minutes walking you can reach “Donaustadtbrücke”, a station of the underground line U2, which brings you to town. Modern sanitary installations are completed with kitchens with electric stoves and fridges, common rooms and laundry rooms with washing machines and dryers. Also Aktiv Camping Neue Donau offers you as chemical toilet, a water service station, a separated parking lot for people coming with tents with a big meadow next to it, well-spaced pitches, electrical connections and luxury pitches with own water taps and sewages. “Sunken City” on the Danube Island offers many restaurants, bars and discos. The well-known Prater Park is situated at the other side of the river and you can reach it in a few minutes with bike or underground. On the camp site itself you will find an adventure playground and a beach volleyball court. In peak season there is a small shop on the camp site, as well as a coffee-restaurant, opened in the morning and evening. There are numerous leisure-time possibilities directly next to the camping grounds: water ski lift, freestyle ramp, bike-boat-skate rental, surf-, diving-, horseback riding school, tennis and beach volleyball. Free Wifi at the campsite; FKK: in 0,5 km distance.
