This is mainly because of its convenient location, close to the ski resort and thermal water park, but also because of the always helpful and friendly staff. The advantage of winter camping is, besides always... clean and heated toilets and showers, also a room for comfortable storage of skis and ski equipment. The ski storage room is equipped with ski dryers, so you will find your skis dried and heated in the morning.
Outside of the winter season, tourists will also come into their own. For example, the Juráňová valley nature trail starts in Oravice. There is also a pizzeria right in the campsite, where you can sit and chat with friends in the warmth over tea or good wine. The area for caravans is flat and for tents on a gentle slope. For small children in the campsite a wooden car as a climbing frame and two larger swings suitable for adults. A small buffet with a range of... soft and alcoholic drinks and small snacks. There are also about 3 fireplaces in the campsite. The sanitary facilities look good after renovation. It is worse with cleanliness.Apparently due to the low water pressure you often do not flush and believe me if it happens to someone already in front of you it does not look very nice. In addition to the morning and evening inability to take a shower also because of the lack of water.
