We arrived here in mid-August at around 5 pm. The pitch was estimated to be 10% full. We asked for a pitch close to the water and were allocated a pitch that was already under water due to the bad weather. (As a pitch operator you should already know which pitches are no longer usable after 12 hours... of rain) On request there was exactly 1 pitch that was still available and we were given a pitch with a paved parking strip with an adjacent lawn. The grass was 15-20cm high and had not been mowed for at least 3 weeks. There were precise instructions on how to park the motorhome, always with the rear facing the water. In fact, all the campervans were parked with the rear facing the water and the front facing the E6, which unfortunately runs right next to the site and can be clearly heard. Only 3 other motorhomes arrived after us that evening. There were still quite a few pitches by the water that we would have liked to have taken.
Positive: very good wash house, electricity posts and water points are always close by. Free WLAN.
Certainly not a place we will visit again.

Tidy site with good sanitary facilities. Children's activities with Kettcars, playground and small animals. Restaurant in the entrance area of the campsite Varied menu.

Ballangen Camping
The campsite was the one with the best and most spacious sanitary facilities on my North Cape tour in May 2018. The restaurant N at the entrance is also clean and reasonably priced for Norway.

Really good campsite
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the play facilities for children, the boat hire, the good and really adequate sanitary facilities. The restaurant there offers good food at reasonable prices. The campsite management is honest and reliable.

I was just passing through here for one night (coming from the north). I was allocated a pitch that was very uneven. There are much nicer pitches. As I was only staying one night, I didn't mind. If I had been here longer, I would have asked for a different one. You need long cables for the electricity... connection and then have to run them over other pitches. Sanitary facilities are ok, but could be renovated. Showers included, but limited hot water, so you may end up empty-handed. In the service house 2 showers for women and in another house 2 family bathrooms with integrated showers. WLAN with password (get login details for 24 hours at reception) but free of charge with moderate range and slower in the evening because many users log in. Located directly on the fjord with access to the water, but also on the E6. Traffic is clearly audible. Conclusion: Very suitable for transit or a short stay.

The terrain is varied and can be very wet. The sanitary area is difficult to access in bad weather or away from decentralized pitches. Heated, outdoor swimming pool is available.

In and of itself a nice place, clean, varied, despite the size not overcrowded; only unfortunately no Astra reception (mountain) and in the pitches with beautiful views over the fjord also no Wifi. Sanitary facilities very clean, very spacious! Would almost have given 5 stars.

Koselig camping med flere muligheter. Litt dumt at apperater og aktiviteter koster ekstra. Koselig med kaniner. Trafikkstøyen er hørbar men ikke plagsom. Noe elvebrus. Plassen er plan og man kan velge om man vil stå på gress eller grus. Og det er plenty med plasser :-)
