"Disappointed - We were there in July 2025 with a camper van and our two children and booked 5 nights. First the positive: - indescribably beautiful view - clean and beautiful pool area (for both adults and children), even with a slide - friendly staff - spacious pitches Now the unfortunately very predominant negative: - Pitch costs very high, plus everything else is also very costly. E.g. a small bottle of Pilsner 5EUR, 0.1L wine glass 4EUR. After realizing this, we no longer dared to go to the supermarket on site, let alone eat in the restaurant - Sanitary facilities (for the fact that the place was not full) not particularly clean, often broken toilet flushes etc. - With a camper van and without e-bikes you are at a loss. Unfortunately, there are hardly any good hiking trails. In addition, the road to the campsite has various construction sites due to a landslide and there is no bus service, so you are really trapped. The site offers a shuttle to Pistoia at 8:30 am and back from Pistoia at 6:30 pm (unfortunately the times are not particularly attractive). Unfortunately, the operator did not inform us in advance about the construction site, which has certainly not only been in existence for a month. Also, no vehicles > 3.5t are allowed on the road during the construction work. This is deliberately disregarded. - No booking flexibility (according to the above findings, we wanted to stay a maximum of 3 nights and politely asked for a shortening of our stay or a pro rata refund after a few hours' stay. According to the operator, there is no possibility of this as we had already paid for everything (we had to do so on arrival) (?). This reaction is all the more incomprehensible to us. - Hardly any WLAN (e.g. for listening to music) available Conclusion: In our opinion, the place rests on the view. Unfortunately, it's all about maximum profit. This has also been noticed by the villagers (who, by the way, are very nice and also have cute little shops and res

"Nice place in mountains - some disadvantages but they are realtively minor. Staff very nice and helpfull. Great location, you can enjoy own privacy. A lot of trees (shadow)

"Nature camping - We were on the road with our 8-meter caravan. The journey over the serpentine roads was quite adventurous. We were immediately greeted by a friendly member of staff, even though it was lunchtime. This employee pulled our caravan to our pitch with a small tractor. It would have been almost impossible for us to get there. The pitches are all natural, and there was an oak tree in the middle of ours. This made it a bit difficult for us to find a place. The check-in was very friendly and professional. The wash house was in the immediate vicinity and could be reached via a path. It was clean but absolutely outdated. In our opinion it needs renovation. We will probably not stay here again.

"Beautiful, well-managed CP in enchanting surroundings - Unfortunately we were only at the campsite for 4 nights with WW, car and motorcycle. We were allocated a nice pitch. The steep approach was no problem for our 11m vehicle. Water and waste water directly at the pitch. But this is probably not the case at all campsites. The campsite is a great starting point for visits to Florence, Pistoia, Pisa or Lucca. We went on a hike to Vinci. Also very nice. You can be picked up from there by the CP shuttle. We will definitely be back.

"Beautiful, natural campsite - A really great campsite. Winding pitches. On arrival in the evening at 10.00 pm, after an adventurous journey, with our almost 8 meter long caravan up the steep roads and then behind the very friendly gentleman and his e-buggy to the pitch. I'm not sure if we would have driven there in the light.... The sanitary facilities are no longer the newest, but the water in the showers and for washing up is hot. The toilets and showers were also always clean, only the building itself could have been better cleaned. Bread rolls were available in the store in the morning, a nice walk from our pitch. Wi-Fi was only available at the pool and the wash house. Unfortunately no reception at our pitch. The pool is very nice, but was freezing cold when we were there. Sun loungers included. Restaurant on the pitch was fine. Bus service to Pistoia to the train station from there to Florence was great. Beautiful towns nearby: Lucca, Vinci.... Recommended if you are looking for peace and relaxation.
