- Ulf U.July 2021Positive tingLocation, water, restaurant, snack barNegative tingAccess road, very old cobblestones.....naja is part of it. If you don't want it, you don't need to come....RatingHello dear Gatsch Eck team,
We stayed with you for a week from 17.07.2021. We had a SUPER time!!!! What wasn't so nice was that we couldn't extend 😁😁. But unfortunately that's how it is.... Ok, the access road (3.2 km) is really an adventure but that's part of it. Maybe the road will be widened to... 4 lanes one day 😂.
BUT, once you've managed that, everything is fine. Everyone is nice and friendly. The Greek on the square is very good. We actually only wanted to eat out once, but it turned into more. The snack bar in the forest is also ok. The prices though.... 4 beers 2Cola 15€, well for that you have a vacation 😉.
All in all, there's nothing to complain about. We definitely won't be there for the last time.
Please keep up the good work dear team !!!!!
And no, I don't get any money for writing something like this 😉😉Automatisk oversatt. - Henry A.June 2018Positive tingIt is simply beautifulNegative tingNoneBeautifulAs always, we were fully satisfied-pitch attendant and staff very friendly-it's always worth coming back here-snack and restaurant good-permanent campers nice and helpful-Automatisk oversatt.
- Detlef W.April 2018Gladly again.Clean, small campsite behind which some of the larger ones can hide. Well suited for early and late season.Automatisk oversatt.
- Michael H.August 2017Positive tingFantastic location.Negative tingThere are no disadvantages.Very beautifully situated campsiteDespite arriving late (the reception is not manned after 5 pm), the reception was extremely friendly thanks to the cell phone number provided. The campsite is not far from Neubrandenburg in the middle of a forest, directly on the Tollensee. From here you can cycle around the lake (37 km). The campsite... can be reached via an adventurous access road. You have to drive about 3 km over cobblestones or unpaved road sections. If you are looking for peace, relaxation and recreation, this is the right place for you. There is a volleyball court, a small store and a snack bar.Automatisk oversatt.
- Tine G.June 2017Positive tingTents on the shore, open atmosphere, seating everywhereNegative tingnothingone of the most beautiful campsiteseverything TOP !!! so, what makes it so special? probably the cool reception, the openness with which strangers are welcomed! there are benches and seating areas everywhere - also covered, tents can be set up directly on the shore, even in the immediate vicinity of the bathing area. The operators are an association and you can tell they put their heart and soul into it! I'm really impressed.Automatisk oversatt.
- Michael F.August 2015Positive tingGreat locationNegative tingModest drivewayCrystal clear lakeAfter a horrible driveway (no real cobblestones...but a kind of packing camp) we were given a very friendly welcome. The location of Gatsch Eck is beautiful. The sandy beach is also very suitable for children. You can pre-order bread rolls at the snack bar. The sanitary facilities are clean (cleaned... several times). There is a regular boat landing stage at the campsite which runs several times a day. The pitches are large enough and there are several water points. The groundsman is very nice and helpful. I would recommend this campsite to others.Automatisk oversatt.
- Helmut P.May 2015Positive tingLocation.Negative tingDirections.Once you have arrivedyou have already overcome the biggest hurdle. The maximum speed from the village to the campsite is 30 km/h. We received a friendly welcome at the campsite and after registering on the sunbathing lawn, we were already expected and instructed. We explored the surrounding area by bike and also cycled around the lake. There are some pretty steep climbs to conquer. You can order bread rolls in advance from the snack bar. We had 5 lovely days there.Automatisk oversatt.
- Sven Z.May 2014Positive tingDirectly on the lake and in the forest. Very quiet and natural.Negative tingReception was quite unfriendly and harsh (the one without glasses).Top in summer!I was a guest at the campsite for a few days during the MSR 2014 cycling race, so we weren't able to explore and evaluate everything. The site is quiet and idyllic, half in the forest directly on Lake Tollensesee. Getting there is tricky - the navigation system sends you the wrong way. The right road... leads downhill through the forest over the worst cobblestones, but it works. The site itself consists of a few permanent dachas and a few pitches as well as a campsite right by the water. The wash house is brand new. The kiosk/snack bar is always friendly and helpful. There were a lot of campers there for the cycle race, so we were right next to caravans. I would have insisted on more space for a vacation, but the pitches don't seem to be very big otherwise either. All in all, a very nice place.Automatisk oversatt.
- Thorsten H.July 2013Positive tingQuiet location directly on the water.Negative tingVery bad access road.Always happy to be there. We have stayed at Gatsch Eck 3 times and have always felt very comfortable. Except for the bad access road (cobblestones) the location is almost perfect. Directly in the forest on Lake Tollensesee and with its own jetty, so that you can get to Neubrandenburg or the surrounding area by boat, bike or car.... The space for tourist campers is limited in relation to the permanent campers, but is perfectly adequate. The bathing area is great and the staff are friendly. The last time I was there was last year. A new sanitary building was due to be built. Once this has been completed, you can feel completely at home there.Automatisk oversatt.
- Steffen M.May 2013Beautifully situated site in the forest with tourist pitches close to the water. Absolute peace and quiet guaranteed. The sanitary building was under construction. The access road over cobblestones was difficult. The cycle route around the lake is great!Automatisk oversatt.
