- Andreas G.June 2024Positive tingLocationNegative tingnoneVery nice location / well managedLake Ledro and the campsite are very beautiful.
When the campsite is full, the pitches are a little cramped.
However, the location directly on the lake is fantastic, even in the second or third row.Automatisk oversatt. - Matthew l.May 2023Positive tingview, view and the view. also lots of MTB trails though haven’t done any.Negative tingnonemrnone no comment to make but I need at least 80 characters to leave a review so there you go.

- Britta K.September 2022Positive tingGreat location right on the lake, friendly staffNegative tingNoneNice little campsiteNice little campsite right on the lake, older but clean sanitary facilities, very friendly staff. Supermarket right next door and great pizzeria on the neighboring campsite. We would love to come back.Automatisk oversatt.
- Florian A.July 2022Positive tingLocation of the campsite quiet placeNegative tingnarrow parking spaces, narrow access roadDecent space, a little tightFirst of all, Lake Ledro: The lake is an absolute dream, the water is crystal clear and the campsite is right on the water (only separated by a footpath). Even in the high season, the crowds on and in the lake are actually limited - in contrast to Lake Garda, it is pleasantly quiet. Advantage in August:... The Ledro Valley is 700 m higher than Lake Garda, so it is of course warm in August, but much more pleasant than down in Riva del Garda. It is pleasantly cool at night.
Hiking trails and MTB routes in the area are really well maintained and very well signposted - exemplary. The hikes are especially great for children: everywhere you climb through trenches and positions from WW1.
Restaurants in the Ledro Valley and shopping are really reasonably priced - I found it cheaper than in Germany.
About the site:
The site is clean and well-kept. The approach to Ledrotal is winding after the tunnel and very narrow in some places. But it is easy to drive if you take it easy. Shortly before the entrance to the site, you have to cross a 2.60 m wide bridge - don't worry, you haven't driven the wrong way, you have to drive through and over it.
And then the typical Italian thing: the pitches are quite small. Caravan, awning and car just fit on the pitch. But then you really have used every centimeter. The access roads on the site are also quite narrow. As the caravans and tents are usually right up to the edge of the pitch, you have to check whether you can really drive right up to the pitch. I simply movered around the two tight bends before returning.
The toilets are clean, but very basic. The washbasins are smaller than in our guest toilet. Pitches without water and waste water. Pool is well maintained. All in all a nice vacation. However, we were stressed by the cramped pitches in the long run. Overall, we found the price per night too high for the facilities.Automatisk oversatt. - Frank S.June 2022Positive tingVery nice location on the lake. Clean facility.Negative tingnone-A recommended alternative to Lake Garda for those who like it quieter!!!!!Automatisk oversatt.
- Heiko M.June 2022Positive tingwonderful panorama direct access to the lake well-keptNegative tingno shelf in the shower A second table tennis table would be niceOur feel-good placeWe visited the campsite for 1 week at Whitsun 2022. We received a friendly visit at reception and were then shown a pitch in the 2nd row with a view of the lake (beautiful). The pitch was not 100% level, but was not a problem. The pitch was big enough for our 8.6 m caravan. The sanitary buildings seem... a bit older, but were constantly clean and never dirty. There are small playgrounds, a small swimming pool, a table tennis table and table football on the site. The bar invites you to enjoy a beer or cocktail. Small snacks are also available. The site is relatively quiet and well-kept. The shore and beach area is separated by a fence with gates. Although the campsite was full, you never had the feeling of mass tourism. There was always plenty of space on the beach, so we were able to let our dog swim in the lake without anyone being bothered.
There is plenty of food available. We visited the very good pizzeria on the neighboring campsite 4 times and were never disappointed.
A supermarket, ice cream parlor, ATM, boat rental is in the immediate vicinity, about 3-5 minutes walk.
The approach from Riva del Garda first leads uphill through a long tunnel. Then there are 1-2 narrow sections and some steeper hairpin bends. You have to be careful, but I would also like to allay any fears.... Our caravan is 2.5 m wide and 8.6 m long... the site is easily accessible.
If you don't want the hustle and bustle and mass tourism, love a fantastic panorama, don't need any entertainment, find Lake Garda a bit too warm and want lower temperatures, this is just the place for you.
A few years ago we (2 adults, 3 children2 x 17 years + 1 x 14 years, 1 dog) were on a campsite on the other side of the lake, which is also very good. In direct comparison, however, we would choose Camping Azzuro.
We felt comfortable from the first day and will definitely come back to this campsite.Automatisk oversatt. - Bernd U.September 2020Positive tingLocation peace and quiet the place recreational valueNegative tingnoneVery nice locationWe were given a very friendly welcome at this site
and were able to choose a pitch (with an ACSI card). The relatively manageable CP is very clean (paved access roads) and was also very well maintained during our stay. The location is beautiful (separated from the hiking trail by a fence) directly on... the clean blue-green lake. Lots of hiking and cycling opportunities starting from the site. The sanitary facilities were always very clean and equipped with disinfection stands (Corona). A well-stocked supermarket and several restaurants are located directly in front of the campsite. The pretty village of Pieve is also only a few hundred meters away. There are also restaurants and shops here. As we hike a lot, this was a wonderful place that we would gladly visit again.Automatisk oversatt. - Uwe N.September 2019Positive tingThe place in connection with the friendly and helpful care. An extra thank you to ManuelaNegative tingNoneExcellent service, fantastic locationSee advantages
Good starting point for mountain biking and hiking, not as crowded as Lake GardaAutomatisk oversatt. - Andreas M.September 2019Positive tingLocation, friendliness, supermarket next doorNegative tingnoneBeautiful place with flairVery nice reception and personal guidance from employee to free pitches. Camping area directly on the lake with access to the beach, pitches sufficiently large, mostly flat and partly between trees, satellite reception not always guaranteed. Good and always clean sanitary facilities during our stay,... shower heads with 4 different feel-good settings, I would also like to have at home. Swimming pool, playground, bar and kiosk available, restaurants and large supermarket in the immediate vicinity (max. 200 meters), easily accessible Womo disposal. Good starting point for hikers and bike tours, the price/performance ratio was ok, at least in the low season, we liked it here very much.Automatisk oversatt.
- Bärbel M.June 2019Positive tingQuiet and not overcrowdedNegative tingNoneNo mass tourism at Lake LedroStayed at this site in June 2019. Very quiet also due to the permanent pitches and the location directly on the lake. Wonderful hikes and mountain bike tours are possible. The staff on site are also very friendly. We will definitely be back.Automatisk oversatt.
- Norbert K.May 2019Positive tingManageable, quiet, central, nice staff, cleanNegative tingA little windy now and thenBeautiful on Lake LedroNice, manageable campsite on Lake Ledro, very friendly staff, great pitches, short walk to the sanitary facilities, which were relatively new and clean. Very quiet at night. With swimming pool if the lake is too cold. Central location for hiking and mountain biking. There is a small supermarket in the immediate vicinity with good prices. Delicious rolls for breakfast, etc..Automatisk oversatt.
- Susann S.September 2018Positive tingLocation by the lake and cycle path, supermarket and restaurants nearby, no traffic noiseNegative tingnoneComfortable size, great location. We came from southern Italy and found Camping Azzurro to be a paradise after the campsites there. There are an amazing number of sanitary cabins for such a small site, most of which are ultra-modern, including various complete bathrooms (wellness shower, washbasin, toilet, storage facilities, hairdryer!).... Everything is clean, in top condition, there are toilet seats and toilet paper. You have direct access to the beautiful Lake Ledro with access code to the gate, but also a pool. The reception was very friendly and professional, the price was okay for what was on offer in the low season. We will be back!Automatisk oversatt.
- Bianca P.July 2018Positive tingCalm, clear water, friendly peopleNegative tingNo toilet seats, fitness required by bike or alternative e-bikeBeautifulWe searched for the site via the internet, with the option of not having to go to the overcrowded Lake Garda. 1. very friendly staff in all areas 2. pitches large enough for motorhome and tent 3. good contact possibilities with the local permanent campers - very friendly 4. sanitary facilities clean,... additional possibility of standing (squat) toilet 5. supermarket 5 minutes walk away, open daily 8-20 o'clock 6. many restaurants in the immediate vicinity 7. extremely CLEAR water, you can look several meters to the bottom 8. Reception can organize excursions, they speak very good German 9. Many hiking and MTB routes "Disadvantages": - Toilets have no "glasses", but you get used to it - Cycle paths very hilly, not necessarily for smaller children - To be able to use more leisure activities towards Lake Garda, a car would be useful, we don't think it's advisable to "fight" everything by bike every day due to the heat Conclusion: Advantages outweigh disadvantages, we will be backAutomatisk oversatt.
- Andrea L.July 2018Positive tingDirectly on Lake LedroNegative tingYou are sold something that is then not keptVacation on Azzurro on Lake LedroActually a nice little site on Lake Ledro... ONLY, if you call there (assuming you get someone on the phone at all) and ask for a pitch of 100m2 or more and get a reservation by e-mail, then I expect to get one. But if you drive 7 hours by car and then get a pitch with just 60m2 on which we have no space... with a large caravan and VW bus as a towing vehicle, then we are quite angry to be honest. The statement from the site operator was; unfortunately we don't have any other space.... So we ask ourselves why we were promised/sold such a pitch! So if you need a large pitch you should be careful here, because it could be only half as big as ordered and reserved! In addition, most of the pitches are so crooked that even a ramp wedge offers only limited help. Clearly untenable for us and therefore the last time we were there!Automatisk oversatt.
- Heike S.July 2017Positive tingBeautiful pitch right on the lake; friendly staff; very beautiful regionNegative tingThe sanitary facilities are very basic but very clean. For the price, more modern wash houses would be desirable.Beautiful, relaxing vacation with a dogOverall great days spent. Dogs are welcome and are even allowed in the lake.Automatisk oversatt.
- Jürgen H.September 2016Positive tingRelaxation, sport and then off into the clear lakeNegative tingApproach via partly narrow, steep mountain roads. But doable.Clear, clearer, Lake LedroA lovely campsite with friendly staff. Catering within walking distance. You should like dogs, as apparently many dog lovers vacation here, our dachshund liked it! Ideal starting point for hikes or mountain bike tours. Not as hot and oppressive as Lake Garda.Automatisk oversatt.
- Antonia P.August 2015beautiful locationThe campsite has a beautiful location, everything is very quiet, there was hardly any German spoken now in the high season which we found really great, means more Italians are vacationing there. The sanitary facilities are a bit older, they are clean but smell very unpleasant, including an outhouse. OK for a short trip, for a longer stay we would go to another campsiteAutomatisk oversatt.
- Sigrun V.August 2013A small, familiar place with very nice people. Super service, with everything you need. We would definitely recommend it to others and would be happy to come back.Automatisk oversatt.
- Christian A.June 2012Approach from Lake Garda sometimes a bit narrow. Very friendly groundsman. The place is quiet and cozy - there is no action. Sanitary facilities are older, but clean. There is a well-equipped Spar about 200 m away.Automatisk oversatt.
