Matthias B.August 2010Good but expensive CP, the airfield right next to it is hardly disturbing. However, you have to be aware that you can hear the airplanes during the day, as well as the noisy highway. Hence the minus points for the location, although the campsite is perfectly situated for exploring Biarritz and the surrounding... area. Biarritz is easy to visit without a car thanks to the free (!) Park & Ride service with a guarded parking lot just 500m away, and the location almost on the national highway means you can easily get to all the other places nearby. Spain is about 45 minutes away by car. However, the campsite is frequented by groups of young people, which makes it not very quiet and peaceful.Automatisk oversatt.- John S.July 2010The camping site is situated beside the airport, but was surprisingly unaffected by airport noises. The fast road nearby created higher levels of noise. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was away from beaches but a bus service was available nearby, which was handy for older kids. On site shop sold only basics. Site was clean and well run. I would recommend this location for families.
