- Viel R.October 2024Positive tingClose to the city, bus in front of the door, interesting placeNegative tingMen's toilets without a seat!Okay for one nightQuite good for one night. Men's toilets without seats! Pitches small and muddy after rain. Wifi slow.Automatisk oversatt.
- Roswitha R.April 2024Positive tingwithin walking distance; approx. 2 km; into townNegative tingsmaller footprintsgood starting point for a visit to ColmarAn ideal place for a visit to Colmar, even if, like us, you are traveling on foot. Despite early reservation, with length and width information, our pitch was rather small, our caravan is 7.50 meters long and had just enough space plus car, extending the awning would not have been possible. There are... also larger pitches. However, if you want to book these with a fixed pitch number, you will probably be charged €70.
There are enough sanitary blocks, although the toilet area could not be heated due to the open construction, but the showers were pleasantly warm and everything was clean. Bread roll service, very friendly staff.Automatisk oversatt. - Heidi F.September 2023Positive tingApparently bookable onlineNegative tingbookable online only with obstacles, or loss of moneyThe WarsNever again via Huttopia, either you stand in front of it and can't get in because apparently the payment process has not been completed, of course you are not informed about this before a long arrival journey, but are arrogantly sent away. The next time you have to pay a €52.88 cancellation fee, even though you canceled a week in advance!!!!! Arrogant and impertinentAutomatisk oversatt.
- Klaus F.September 2022Positive tingProximity to ColmarNegative tingToilets a bit tight and partly outside, depending on the pitch, long distances to water/waste water and toilet disposalGood for exploring Colmar and the surrounding areaWe were there at the beginning of October 2022 with a medium-sized caravan and dog. Nice and courteous contact when booking. The people on site were also very nice and helpful. Plots large enough, no problem even for large caravans. Some areas directly on the little river Ill are also unparceled, so... that you can "stand freely". Sometimes quite muddy when it rains. Some of the roads are quite uneven and sometimes have large bumps and potholes.
Power connections often far away, long cable useful.
Water, waste water only at the sanitary blocks, therefore sometimes quite long distances. Chemical toilets can only be emptied at the front sanitary block, so depending on the pitch, long distances.
Showers in our area were absolutely ok, mostly sufficient, modern, reasonably warm and well maintained. Toilets at the two wash houses at the back only outside, which can get chilly.
Store and snack bar were already closed. Bread roll service and small selection at reception. Large supermarket within walking distance. Location of the place good to explore Colmar on foot, or better by bike, should also go by public transport, but we have not tried. Hardly any noise from the highway. Wifi free, but not very strong for us, but enough for a message or something.
Pitch and surroundings "suitable for dogs"
Conclusion: a decent campsite, which is probably mainly interesting because of its proximity to Colmar. Essentially ok.Automatisk oversatt. - Klaus-Peter A.July 2022Positive tingConveniently located to the city center of Colmar, friendly staffNegative tingrelatively expensive, traffic noise from the highway, some places along the paths extremely narrowGreat for a stopover or city tourWe were passing through here for a city tour. The campsite is within walking distance of Colmar (about 25 minutes).
The reception staff were very friendly. The sanitary facilities were perfectly fine and clean, although there should be a few more toilets, at least in the rear area (4 toilets for a few... dozen pitches is a bit tight).
We had a nice and spacious grass pitch at the back. When booking, be aware that there are some very narrow pitches along the access road. When approaching by car, it felt like you were driving right alongside the tables in front of the caravans. This is also a safety problem, especially for families with small children.
There is no real store on the site, but a large E.Leclerc is a 10-minute walk away.
Overall, a nice place, but due to the highway running in the immediate vicinity with a constant noise level and the price is definitely in the upper segment.
We didn't notice that the site looked neglected overall, as some of the commentators wrote. The restaurant was also open all the time. According to our observations, anyone booking a motorhome pitch should be prepared for a manageable space.Automatisk oversatt. - Hans Rudolf K.May 2022Positive tingvery friendly and helpful staff large place near the river and good sanitary facilitiesNegative tingno grocery store Restaurant only open one evening although place completely booked outexcellent location Colmar center quickly accessibleWe stayed 3 nights with the motorhome on this easily accessible site, good pitch with enough space for awning and accessories. Quiet although many children and fully booked. Very clean and always warm (hot) water in the sanitary facilities which were always well cleaned. Swimming pool is heated to 27... degrees. We can recommend this site without reservation, as the staff are also very helpful and friendly.
We were not very impressed with Colmar as such, too touristy, sometimes kitschy.Automatisk oversatt. - Christian G.July 2021Positive tingLight rail Supermarket nearby Swimming pool In the countrysideNegative tingMobile home extremely close to each other, so you can clearly hear the neighbor Car must be parked separately No restaurant/bar etc. Highway can be heard very clearly 24h Terrace of the mobile homes not clean Deposit is withheld for a very long time without justificationThree day vacationNot worth a repeat trip

More of a transit campsiteAutomatisk oversatt. - Irmgard W.May 2019Positive tingProximity to ColmarNegative tingVery loud, unkempt pitchesStopover motorhomeWe made a short stopover in Colmar and visited this place for one night. the place seemed very messy to us, high grass, garbage bags flying around, very loud. Very poor value for money at a price of 30 euros per night.the only advantage is the proximity to Colmar.Automatisk oversatt.
- Reinhold M.November 2018Positive tingsee above.Negative tingTraffic noise, no bread roll service (bakery approx. 1 km), no WLAN on the pitchesbeautiful location, approx. 3 km to the center of ColmarNice location on the river, very friendly staff, unfortunately a bit noisy (traffic noise), reasonable prices. We felt very comfortable. Tip: definitely visit Eguisheim (approx. 10 km), very nice medieval town and not as crowded as Colmar.Automatisk oversatt.
- Harald B.September 2018Positive tingPerfectly located for visits to Colmar.Negative tingRestaurant completely closed from Sept. 2 despite fully occupied site.Perfect for visiting ColmarAs a stopover at the end of the season, it was just right for us to visit Colmar again on the way. We had reserved one night (Sunday to Monday) and the very nice young woman at reception had a hard time finding a place that was free for us for two days in a row. So the place was fully booked and really... full in the evening, but the restaurant had a different opinion. A sign saying "Closed from Sept. 2, 12:00 noon, see you in May 2019" forced us to switch to restaurants outside or the restaurant's own kitchen. Does the management of the Huttopia Group know this? But this fits in with the slightly neglected impression we noticed in many places. The site is stretched out along the River Ill, so it also has several sanitary blocks; we only visited the newest one near the reception. We weren't convinced by the state of the place, and when I saw the cleaning crew at work I knew why. The distances to get fresh water or dispose of service water or toilet are quite long. The same goes for the distance to the electricity boxes, a 25m cable is too short for every second pitch. The best way to visit the town is to take bus number 1, the bus stop is about 300 meters from the pitch. With a day ticket for 3.90 € you are free of all worries. Unfortunately, you can hear the highway on the other side of the river Ill around the clock, but I still managed to sleep with the windows closed without any problems.Automatisk oversatt.
- Dominic M.August 2018Positive tingProximity to the cityNegative tingSanitary facilities are in need of improvementIdeal for a city tourIdeally located campsite for sightseeing in Colmar. Good bus connections but you can also get into town quickly by bike or on foot. With tents / vans, it's hard to get a pitch with electricity. However, the pitches by the river (without electricity) are nice and pleasant. However, there is room for improvement... in the sanitary facilities (especially in the rear building). The highway is in the immediate vicinity and audible (not disturbing for me).Automatisk oversatt.
- Stefan P.July 2018Positive tingClose to the city with pool, suitable for children and bread serviceNegative tingLoud due to highwayGood short-term CPIdeal for those passing through. Close to the old town, the rear pitches are not quite so noisy. With swimming pool, well suited as a stopover site with children. Simple bistro, not overpriced. If you want to eat properly, you should go to the old town. Staff were courteous, sanitary facilities clean. As is generally the case in France, you have to bring your own toilet paper. In the season you should make a reservation, which can be done online.Automatisk oversatt.
- Elisabeth G.May 2018Positive tingThe proximity to ColmarNegative tingHelpfulness at the reception leaves a lot to be desiredThe gentleman at the reception had a bad dayOn this campsite it can happen (for whatever reason) that you don't get a pitch, even though the campsite is only half full and there are plenty of nice free pitches. It was only when my husband asked again that we got a very narrow pitch just after the entrance for 30 euros! The man at reception seemed arrogant and wasn't very helpful! According to our camping neighbors, he could speak German, but he denied this to us.Automatisk oversatt.
- Lutz B.April 2018Positive tingClose to Colmar, bus stop in front of the doorNegative tingLOUD LOUD LOUD because of the highwayPicturesquely LOUD and poor sanitary facilitiesPicturesque, noisy, amateurishly renovated The site is in a fantastic location, has the highway right next to it and is therefore only bearable with earplugs. The management is amateurish, half of the toilets are locked. The new taps are dripping heavily, two out of three neon lights don't work, the... hand dryer is only cold, the other one doesn't work, the labels on the doors fall off and are not reattached, and on and on it goes. Even the friendliness of the operators doesn't help, this is not a three star placeAutomatisk oversatt.
- Jürgen Z.September 2017Positive tingConvenient location for visiting Colmar, free WiFiNegative tingHighway noise, many rental accommodations, little interested staffIdeal for sightseeingAt just under 2km by bike to the center, the site is ideal for sightseeing. In September, the supply on the site was largely discontinued, but the distance to the nearest bakery or supermarket is only about 1km. The access and registration is somewhat awkwardly organized, with long queues forming easily.... The highway noise is sufficiently muffled on the pitches behind the road on the dike in the caravan. The sanitary facilities are immaculate and heated if required. until here: Status Sept. 2014 Addendum 2017: in the meantime, several caravan pitches have fallen victim to new rental accommodation. In September 2017, the staff also seemed to have no desire to deal with guests and claimed that the site was full. As you can't turn around in the entrance area with a camper van, we were "allowed" to do a turning loop around the site and saw plenty of free pitches....Automatisk oversatt.
- Thomas F.July 2017Positive tingShort walk (approx. 3km) to the old town.Negative tingQuite full in summer with inadequate sanitary facilities. Not for cycle touristsUnfortunately, there is only one all-inclusive price for tent, car and two people, which is of course very high for a single cyclist. Sanitary facilities near the tent meadow too small and dirty, the more distant ones newer and better maintained. Continuous noise from the nearby highway at night. Nice little restaurant, often with live music in summer.Automatisk oversatt.
- n. z.July 2017Positive tingLocation to ColmarNegative tingNoise over 24 hNot a quiet minuteThe site is located approx. 100 m parallel to the highway. Logically, it is driven on at night. The 24-hour traffic noise level is extremely disturbing. There are no direct water/waste water connections at the pitches for caravans.Automatisk oversatt.
- Anja W.August 2016Positive tingGreat location. Clean. With restaurant and poolNegative tingOnly the shower smelled a bit musty.RecommendedGreat campsite! Very close to Colmar. Great staff, with pool, own restaurant, bread service and clean sanitary facilities. We have already saved the campsite for our next visit to Colmar.Automatisk oversatt.
- Yasmin K.June 2015Positive tingFree choice of pitches, friendly and helpful staffNegative tingNo toilet paper in the toilets, kiosk/restaurant only open in high seasonNice little placeA pleasant campsite in a good location directly on the I'ill. The city center is about 10 minutes away by bike. Shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity (300m). The staff are very friendly and courteous. The sanitary facilities were clean, but there was no toilet paper in the toilet cubicles. Instead, there were paper towels in the washroom, which had to be taken into the cabin.Automatisk oversatt.
- Guntram H.May 2015Positive tingIdeal for a city tourNegative tingthe nearby highway can be heard all night longan ideal place to visit ColmarWe only stayed here for 1 night at the beginning of May 2015. The place was still running on "low flame". Nevertheless, everything we needed was there. Bread roll service at the restaurant (order the day before). There is a separate bus stop - unfortunately there were very few buses at the time. 2 lines... were "out of service". Colmar center is less than 2km away, so you can also do this route on foot. A number of pitches had to make way for permanent accommodation (bungalows) last year, so the number of pitches available for individual travelers was reduced. You will probably have to book during the season! Campers have a meadow directly on the Ill. This may only be used from mid-May!Automatisk oversatt.
