- Michael M.April 2018Positive tingQuiet, directly on the riverNegative tingSomewhat outdated facilitiesA good place to relaxThe campsite is located directly on the Ardèche, which is suitable for swimming, at least in summer, which perhaps explains the lack of a swimming pool. There are several small playgrounds dotted around the site. It is quite large and parceled out, with plots of various sizes. The plots are defined by... more or less old trees, so that you can choose between all possible shade levels. The ground is largely level with a thin layer of soil on a gravel base. Between the plots and the river there is a wide strip of meadow with sparse trees, which is not used for tents or caravans/mobile homes and is therefore available for all possibilities. However, as in the entire Ardèche department, open fires are prohibited here. Despite the adjacent sports airfield, the site is surprisingly quiet. In my opinion, the disturbance caused by the rather small number of flights is no worse than a lawnmower. As it is also a good distance from the main roads, it is very quiet at night. A good WLAN network is available free of charge throughout the site. Depending on how busy the site is, it can happen that not all power points are activated and you have to use one that is further away; it therefore makes sense to take long or several cables with you. Cables can also be borrowed from reception if required. The sanitary facilities are divided into a small wing, which is always open, and a much larger one, which is only open during the season. The smaller wing houses the waste disposal facilities and washing machines. The facilities are noticeably outdated and are cleaned regularly and, in my opinion, sufficiently. However, they are likely to be very busy or overloaded in the high season. Apart from the possibility of ordering bread, the only food available on site is regional wine. There is a small store for regional products within walking distance, but it is only open during the season. You are therefore reliant on the stores in nearby Ruoms for shopping. A restaurant near the square is a "guinguette" (tavern) with a small, simple menu and is also only open in season. The reception is friendly, courteous and helpful, and it helps that the patron is German. I think the prices are reasonable. Because of the favorable location for canoeists, it is often used by them as a campsite.Automatisk oversatt.

- Bernhard R.May 2017Positive tingClean, friendly, heated sanitary facilities in cold weatherNegative tingThere could be more places for wasteSimple, but clean and goodMay 2017, the reception is friendly, the pitches are level, shower and washrooms are clean and pleasantly heated! Great at 8 degrees in the morning. Roums is nearby, the Ardeche right next to the site. You don't need a pool. In short: good value and recommended.Automatisk oversatt.
