Public leisure facilities (skating rink, equipment, outdoor pool) in the immediate vicinity.
Rows 1 and 2 on the "main pitch" are occupied by mobile homes.
The secondary pitch is the nature campsite, which is located on a slope (no terraces)... and can be reached via a neighboring campsite. Therefore for caravans/mobile homes: don't forget supports and wedges!!!
After rainfall, row 1 is not recommended here as the ground is very soft and it is easy to sink in.
The sanitary facilities here (located in an old farmhouse) are not recommended and should actually be closed. But you can move to the main square in 4 minutes - if it's urgent, it's quicker 😉!
There are no water connections on the pitch and there is only one central power distribution box. Depending on where you stand, you should have enough cable with you.
Martin, the groundsman, is very active and helpful.
No predetermined pitches, so it is pleasant to stand freely!
The lake itself is also very beautiful and can be circumnavigated in just under 1 hour. However, not a single centimeter seems to be public, as there are private property signs everywhere. So there is also no possibility to let your dog into the water.
The restaurant is very nicely furnished, the waiters very nice and the food very good!

- Ernst G.June 2021Positive tingCrystal-clear (lake) water, wonderful peace and quiet, nice restaurant, friendly welcome, clean sanitary facilities.Negative tingHardly any WLAN receptionAt the lake is beautifulI can only report on the camping meadow, which is a bit away from the main area (was too narrow, too loud, too much hustle and bustle, ...). It is pleasantly quiet there, both in and by the water. Depending on the pitch you choose, you may need wedges. A small path along the lake takes you to the main... building and restaurant in just a few minutes. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful (I needed an adapter for the electricity box, no problem). The sanitary building exudes the charm of the 80s but is spotlessly clean and offers everything you need for your body, dishes and laundry. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio is unique for the Carinthian Lakes region. It would perhaps be nice and modern if the campers on the meadow could be connected to the outside world via WLAN 😉.Automatisk oversatt.

No trees or shadeCamping by the lakeThere are 2 areas, the "main campsite" (right next to the main building) and the "nature meadow" (slightly next to it) - we were on the nature meadow. The "Naturcamping" area is kept very simple, apart from the sanitary facilities (4 showers, a few toilets, about 4 washbasins, washing-up area) there... are no frills, which is exactly what we wanted. You and the lake are here, very nice! The main campsite is within walking distance (about 2 min), there is more (restaurant, playground, ...). There are lots of anglers at the Naturcamping, lots of peace and quiet, plenty of space, free choice of pitch, with luck a direct view of the lake or a pitch in front of the lake.

Even though the weather wasn't always sunny, it was simply a great stay. Very nice and friendly hosts, a beautiful site in a great location and simple but always very, very... clean sanitary facilities. The restaurant on site offers very good quality. Carinthia of course offers many possibilities and Afritz is very centrally located. We recommend the Kärntencard :-) and fishing on the lake was particularly relaxing, even if we had experienced more successful years here. We will be back...Automatisk oversatt.

As we wanted to stay for about a week, we were recommended the Katre card. Great tip, with her many admissions to the Reginon are free. The restaurant at the campsite is highly recommended,... very good food and reasonable prices. The sanitary facilities were always very clean and the whole site made a well-kept impression.
